| 7月6日 姉から山形のさくらんぼが届きました。 Rは、初めて食べます。 彼は初めて日本の夏を過ごしたので、 彼の人生で初めて日本の夏の季節の食べ物を 食することもありました。 このさくらんぼもその1つです。 6th of July We received cherries of Yamagata Prefecture from my sister. R ate them for the first time. He spent the first summer in Japan in his life, so he sometimes ate Japanese summer food for the first time. This cherry is one of them.  |

| 7月14日 とても久しぶりにスコーンを作りました。 このスコーンは、私にとっては初めてのレシピを用いました。 Rはとても気に入り、この類のものにしては私もよく食べました。 なので、2日間ほどでなくなってしまいました。 14th of July I made scones for the first time in a long time. It was the first time I used this recipe for scones. R liked very much and I ate more than usual for this kind of thing. So they have gone in about two days. |

| 7月21日 ケーキ・サレを作りました。 ケーキ・サレは何度も作っていますが、 その都度使用する材料が違うので、 その都度味が違います。 私にとってはフレンス風チャーハンのような料理です。 21st of July I made a cake salé. I make cake salé many times, but the ingredients used each time are different, so the taste is different each time. |

| 7月25日 Rが初めて見る日本の大きな桃に驚いていました。 英国の友人や家族に見せる写真用に、 メジャーを桃のそばに置きました。 25th of July R was surprised at seeing the large Japanese peaches for the first time. He put the measure near the peach for the photo to show to his friends and family in Britain. |

| 7月19日 久々の天気の日。 梅雨の雨で鉢は湿りすぎていました。 Rのアイディアで鉢を斜めにして乾かします。 19th of July It's been a long time since this bright weather. The pots were too wet due to the rainy season. R used his idea to tilt the pot and dry them.  たくさん咲いていた花達は雨によってダメージを受けています。 花を摘むことがきるほどの量はなく、 家で飾ることはできませんでした。 Many blooming flowers have been damaged by the rain. There weren't enough to pick the flowers and I couldn't decorate them inside.  |

| 7月20日 コジュケイ来訪 20th of July Chinese Bamboo Partridges Visit    逃げながら、こっちをちゃんと見張っています。 用心深さは命を救うのですね。 He is keeping an eye on this while running away. Being cautious saves lives, doesn't it? |

| 7月21日 カマキリ発見！ 英国にはカマキリはいないので、Rも興味深そうに見ていました。 とても上手に擬態しています。 21st of July Mantis found! There are no mantis in Britain, so R looked interested too. It mimics very well.  最初は知らんふりしています。 「私はサポートの一部です」 He is pretending not to know at first. "I'm part of the support"  でも、私が撮影を続けていると、キッ！と私を睨みます! However, when I keep photographing, he lost his temper and he glared at me! |

| 7月29日 ふんわりとかけたネットを気にもせず、 ブルーベリーの実を食べるリスにRは怒り心頭! (笑) 今年のリスは、Rの天敵でした。 29th of July R is angry at the squirrel who eats blueberry fruits without worrying about the fluffy net! (Laugh) This year's squirrels were R's natural enemy. |
