1) i-phoneの設定 / i-phone settings

私と夫Rは、昨年6月から9月まで英国の家に滞在をしていました。

その間、i-phoneのau設定を止めていて、帰国後、通常再開しました。

けれでも、どういうわけか、私のi-phoneでメールが使用できませんでした。

私は通常PCのメールを使用しているので、i-phoneのメールが使用できなくとも、あまり不便さを感じず、不具合を放置していました。

ですが、かなりの友人・知人のi-phoneは、PCからのメールが自動的に拒否されることに気がつき、仕方な〜〜く、au鎌倉店へ出かけました。

スタッフの方も本部の担当者でも原因が分からず、本部の担当者に聞きながら私のi-phoneを通常設定に戻すことができました。

au店の人でも直せないのだから、私に直せなくて当然よね〜と思ったのでした。

せっかく、外出したので、久しくご無沙汰している鶴ヶ丘八幡宮にゆくことにしました。

いつも多くの人が行き交うここもほとんど人がいません。

There are few people here, where many people always usually come and go.

i-phone settings

I and my husband R were staying in our British house from June to September last year.

During that time, we stopped the au settings on our i-phones and resumed them normally after returning to Japan.

But for some reason, I couldn't use email on my i-phone.

I usually use e-mail on my PC, so even if I couldn't use e-mail on my i-phone, I didn't feel much inconvenience and left the problem.

However, I noticed that  i-phones of a few my friends and acquaintances automatically rejected from the mail from the PC, so 

I had to go to the au Kamakura shop.

Neither the staff nor the person in charge of the headquarters could understand the cause, and he set normal setting of my i-phone while asking the person in charge of the headquarters.

Even people at au staff couldn't repair it, so I thought it was natural that I couldn't fix it myself.

Since we went out, we decided to go to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu, which we hadn't visited in a long time. 

2) 鶴岡八幡宮 

    Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine 

二の鳥居はau店のすぐ近くです。
鳥居には七夕の飾りが施されていました。

The Second Torii is very close to the au shop.
The torii was decorated with Tanabata
which is the festival of stars. 

鳩サブレの豊島屋さんも七夕の飾りがありました。

The Toyoshimaya of Hato Sablé also had
a Tanabata decoration.

若宮大路の段葛
段葛(ダンカズラ)には観光客の姿が殆どありません。

There are almost no tourists on Dankazura Pathway.

三の鳥居 / San-no-Torii : Third Gate 

太鼓橋は保存(危険)のため使用できません。

Arch Bridge : Taikobashi cannot be used,being too fragile,
so it can be preserved.

この木にサギが止まっているのを見たことがあります。
I've seen herons perched on this tree.

鶴岡八幡宮 ・本殿と舞殿
私は遠くからご挨拶しました。

3) 蓮 / Lotus

Rは、初めてこの時期、日本にいるので、鶴岡八幡宮の蓮を初めて

見ました。

私も5年ぶりで見ました。

鶴岡八幡宮を訪れた理由は、蓮にありました。

R was in Japan for the first time at this time, so he saw the lotus of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu for the first time.

I also saw it for the first time in 5 years.

The reason for visiting Tsurugaoka Hachimangu was to see the lotus.

4) ラッキー / Lucky 

亀も見ることができたので、縁起が良いです！

We were able to see this turtle, so we are lucky!

In Japan, it is said that
"a crane lives a thousand years and a turtle lives a million years",
and along with a crane, a turtle is a symbol of longevity
and a harmonious couple.
