私と夫Rは、シグトゥーナ / Sigtuna で有名な、"ブラウンおばさんのカフェ" を訪ねました。
I and my husband R visited "Aunt Brun's Coffee House", which is famous in Sigtuna.

ここで使用されている食器を見ると、丈夫そうなのが感じられ、扱いが楽で、食洗機も使用可能であることが容易に察しられます。

 カフェの看板 1,000年前から道幅が変わらないストラガタン通り / Stora Gatan Street を進みます。 お菓子屋さん : Augusta Jansson Karamellfabrikの建物に設置されています。 Augusta Jansson Karamellfabrikは、 スウェーデンで最も古いお菓子屋さんの1つです。 Cafe Signs Continue along Stora Gatan Street, where the street width hasn't changed in 1,000 years. The cafe signs are installed on the building of Sweets shop: Augusta Jansson Karamellfabrik. に入ります。
ブラウンおばさんを思わせる人形が迎えてくれます。

ファールン・レッドの家
ファールン・レッド / Falun red の家もあります。
ファールン・レッドは、スウェーデン、または北欧で
よく見られる赤い家の色です。
ダーラナ地方のファールンにある鉱山に由来しています。
エストニアでは、'スウェーデンの赤' とも呼ばれます。
この家は、おそらくシグトゥーナで最も古い家だと言われています。
Falun Red House
There is also a Falun red house.
Falun red is a red house colour commonly found in Sweden or Northern Europe.
It originates from a mine in Falun, Dalarna.
In Estonia, Falun red is known as Rootsi punane "Swedish red".
This house is probably the oldest in Sigtuna.

'ブラウンおばさんのカフェ' は、現在のオーナーが1960年代後半に
この不動産を購入して復元し、自分で作業に参加しました。 彼は、'カフェ' は17世紀の終わりからのものであると主張しています。 今日、このカフェはスウェーデンで最も古いカフェの1つです。
'Aunt Brun's Coffee House' has been owned
by the current owner since the late 1960s.
The owner bought this property, restored it, and participated in the work himself.
He claims that the 'coffee house' dates from the end of the 17th century.
Today this cafe is one of the oldest in Sweden.
屋内には入りませんでした。
今思うと、入って撮影すればよかったかしら〜？と...
ちょっと後悔。 I didn't enter indoors.

メイド・イン 'U.A.E'？どこの国？
私は、 U.A.Eがどこの国を表すのか、
U.A.Eはアラブ首長国連邦 : United Arab Emiratesの略でした。
RAKは、アラブ首長国連邦最大の陶磁器メーカーで、2005年に設立されました。
陶磁器メーカーとしてはかなり新しい会社に感じます。
食器以外に、タイル、バスウェア、蛇口なども手掛けています。"
RAKは、本社があるラアス・アル＝ハイマ: Ras Al Khaimah (RAK)から。
Made in 'U.A.E'? which country?
U.A.E is an abbreviation for United Arab Emirates.
RAK is the largest ceramics manufacturer in the United Arab Emirates
and was established in 2005.
I think of it as a fairly new company for a ceramics manufacturer.
"Their special porcelain : 'Grès Porcelain' products have excellent durability
and are easy to handle, and are provided to many industries
such as hotels, restaurants, catering, and airlines."
In addition to tableware, they also deal in tiles, bathware, taps, etc.
RAK comes from Ras Al Khaimah (RAK), where the head office is located.

ここで使用されている食器を見ると、丈夫そうなのが感じられ、扱いが楽で、食洗機も使用可能であることが容易に察しられます。
他の色々なものが、古く小規模なのに、食器メーカーが新しく、巨大であることの対比が面白く感じ、また、私にはスウェーデンとアラブ首長国連邦の繋がりが珍しくも感じます。
I looked at the dishes used here, I felt that they are sturdy, easy to handle, and can go in a dishwasher.
Everything else is old and small, the tableware makers are new, the huge contrasts are interesting, and I felt that the connection between Sweden and the United Arab Emirates is unusual.

| そしてまた、私はここで驚きます。 Rは、外出前に朝食をとったのに関わらず、 このカフェでチョコレートケーキのあと、 サンドイッチも注文しました。 ですが、シグトゥーナでランチをとる機会をもてなかったので、 ここで食べたことは正解でした。 And again, I was surprised here. R also ordered a sandwich here, after the chocolate cake, despite having breakfast before going out. But we didn't have the opportunity to have lunch in Sigtuna so he had the right approach. |

| お天気が良く、散策が気持ちよさそうです。 日本の夏とは違います...ちょっと秋の気配もします。 The weather is lovely and it feels good to take a walk. It's different from Japan's summer... I think it's a little autumnal. |

| テーブルに 'バード・スプレイ' が用意されていました。 最初はちょっと疑問に思いましたが、やがて彼らが現れて納得がゆきました。 There was a 'bird spray' on the table. At first I wondered a little, but then they appeared and it made sense. |

| 餌くれるの？ あどけない表情で可愛さをアピールしているのでしょうか？ これで人間は騙されて餌をあげちゃうのかもしれません。 でも私は騙されませんよ！ Will you feed me？ Are you appealing for cuteness with an innocent look? With this, humans may be deceived and feed. But I'm not fooled!

| この子は、ちょっと気が強そう... 餌だと思ってくわえましたが... This kid seems a little bit strong-willed... He thought it was food and grabbed...  まずい〜って感じで吐き出しています。 He is spitting as if it was bad. |

私達はここを後にし、ルーン石碑めぐりに出発しました。
We left here and headed for the Runestones tour.
