1) 帰るだけ.... / We just return....

スウェーデン入りしたときは、ちょっとややこしい方法で、アーランダ空港から
オデンプランにあった私と夫Rの宿泊所：”Perfect city center location" : ★に到着しました。

その時のことは下記。

最終日は、ストックホルムオデンプラン通勤駅からアーランダ空港へローカル電車で直通で向かいました。

Rはアーランダ空港駅で特別料金を払い、その高さにご立腹！

そしてまた、電車のプラットホームからアーランダ空港へのかなり長い道のりを
スーツケースを持って移動しました。

その時にも彼はぶちぶちと不平を溢していました。

でも、トローリーに2つのスーツケースを乗せて、運ぶのは私ですけれど...。

特別料金や徒歩移動の距離が嫌だったら、初日と同じ方法を取れば良かったのですよ。

「初日はそれを回避する方法を選んだのに、今日は直通できたから、仕方ないでしょ」

と私が言うと、

「えっ？そうだった？そんな方法、知らない」

と言う返事。

驚き....

私は、バスを使用したり、乗り換えがあったりして何かあったらフライトの時間に間に合わなくなる心配をしました。

また、違う方法を試すのもいいなと思い、特別料金を払っても、直通でアーランダ空港に向かう方法で良いと思いました。

彼もそう思って直通を選んだと思っていました。

それなのに....。

もう、いいのです。

とにかく、英国へ帰るだけなのだから....。

We just return....

When I and my husband R, entered Sweden, we arrived at our stay: ”Perfect city center location" : ★ in Odenplan from Arlanda Airport in a slightly complicated way.

At that time is below.

On the last day, we went to Arlanda Airport by direct train from Stockholm Odenplan Commuter Station.

R paid a special fee at Arlanda Airport Station and got angry for the high expense!

And again, we walked a long way from the train platform to Arlanda Airport with our suitcases.

He was fluttering and complaining on our way.

But I carried two suitcases on a trolley on the way.

If he didn't like the extra charges or the distance walked, he should have taken the same approach as on the first day.

I said,

"Our way avoided these problems on the first day, but today we were able to get straight through, so we can't help it."

He replied

"Huh? Was that right? I don't know how to do that."

Surprise, surprise and surprised.

I was worried that we would miss the flight if something happened, such as by using the bus or changing trains.

Also, I thought it would be nice to try a different method, and even if we paid a special fee, it would be better to go directly to Arlanda Airport.

So, he also chose the direct line...I thought.

And yet... 

It was alright already.

Anyway, we were just going back to Britain....

2) ルーン石碑 / Runestone

電車のプラットホームからアーランダ空港へは建物の中を移動します。

かなり長い道のりに感じはしますが、雨の心配をしなくても良いのは良い点です(笑)。

その移動中に、何と、ルーン石碑 : ★が展示してありました。

嬉しい驚き! 

初日と違う方法で移動して良かった！！！

翌日に、シグトゥーナで、'ルーン石碑を追う旅'をしたばかりでしたので、リンクを感じて喜びも増しました。

11 Century Runestone
Transfer from the train platform to Arlanda Airport in the building.

It feels like a long way to go, but the good thing is that you don't have to worry about rain (Laugh).

During that move, a Runestone :  ★ was on display.

Happy surprise!

It was nice to move in a different way from the first day! !! !!

The day before, we just had our "Follow Runestones Journey" in Sigtuna, so I felt the link and I was more happy.

11世紀のルーン石碑 / 11 Century Runestone 

このルーン石碑は、1990年、アーランダ空港高速道路の建設中に発掘されました。
ルーンの碑文は下のように刻まれています。

"この石は、イングヴァルと共に東で亡くなったトールステンを記念して、

彼の兄弟であるグルナー、ビョルン、ソーグリムが作りました。
そして(この橋を)作りました。"

This Runestone was excavated in 1990 
during the construction of the Arlanda Airport motorway.

The rune inscription is carved below.

"Gurnar and Björn and Thorgrim set up this stone in memory of Thorsten, their brother. He died in the east with Ingvar. 

And made (this bridge?)"

横からのルーン石碑 / Runestone from Side

B. イングヴァル遠征 / Ingvar's Expedition

'イングヴァル'とは、イングヴァル・ザホワイト / 
Ingvar the Far-Travelled / Ingvar den vittfarne（1016頃 - 1041）
と思われます。

彼は、メーラレン地域のヴァイキングの長 (オサ)で、1036年から1042年にイランに対する大規模なバイキング攻撃を仕掛けました。

インヴァル / Ingvarは何十ものルーン石碑 : ★で触れられている人物で、主にメーラレン地域で見られます。

インゲヴァルの遠征はセルクランド/  Serkland (の南、または東)で、全員が亡くなります。

セルクランドは、バイキング時代の首都がバグダッドであったアバース朝カリフ（750 - 1517）の土地を意味していました。

橋の建設と道路の敷設は、スウェーデンの初期キリスト教化の際に人気がありました。

ルーンの碑文でしばしば言及される橋の建設は、死んだ親族を記念する方法であり、教会はこれらの作業を行うと、人の罪が取り除かれ、天国にいることが保証されると約束したからです。

その結果、この時代の多くのルーン石碑は、道路や橋の建設に触れています。

Ingvar's Expedition

'Ingvar' is probably Ingvar the Far-Travelled / Ingvar den vittfarne (c 1016-1041).

He was the head of the Vikings of the Mälaren region and launched a massive Viking attack on Iran from 1036 to 1042.

Ingvar is the person referred to by dozens of Runestones :★, found primarily in the Mälaren region.

Ingvar's expedition was in (south or east of ) Serkland and all die.

Serkland meant the land of the Abbasid Caliphate (750 - 1517), Baghdad was its capital in the Viking age.

Bridge construction and road laying were popular during the early Christianization of Sweden.

The construction of bridges, often referred to in the inscriptions of the Runes, 
is a way to commemorate dead relatives, and the Church promised that doing these tasks would remove human sins and ensure that they were in heaven. 

As a result, many Runestones in this era mention the construction of roads and bridges.

スウェーデンを発つ前に、立派なルーン石碑を見ることができてラッキーでした。

Before I left Sweden, I was lucky to see a magnificent Runestone.

3) 空から / From Sky

飛行機の窓から
さよなら、アーランダ空港、さよならスウェーデン！

楽しい旅でした。

It was an enjoyable trip.

スウェーデンにまた訪れたいと思います。
I would like to visit Sweden again.

海に雲が映っています。
雲が山脈のようです。

Clouds are reflected in the sea.
The clouds are like mountains.

4) 英国へ / To Britain 

貨物船が見えます。 / I see a freighter.

洋上風力発電
風力発電のための風車が海にたくさん見えます。

Offshore Wind Power 
Many windmills for wind power generation can be seen in the sea.

これらの風車は、風力原動機または風力タービンと呼ばれます。
These windmills are called wind energy converters or wind turbines.

英国の陸地ですが、どこかはわかりません。
It's land in Britain, but I don't know where it is.

ダートフォード・クロッシング橋？

The river is the Thames.

この写真の中に私達の英国の家があります。
私は見分けがつきませんが、Rはわかるそうです。

Our British house is in this photograph.
I can't tell the difference, but R understands.

私と夫Rは、ストックホルム滞在の最終日の晩、外食しました。

宿泊所から近い、Sushi レストラン、"Shushi Sho"です。

(寿司ではなく、Sushiです)

実は8月30日に"SUSHI SHO"に行きましたが、予約でいっぱいで入店がかなわず、別のSushi レストラン: "MINAKO"へ行きました。

私達は"Shushi Sho"に、9月3日の晩に予約しました。

I and my husband R had a dinner in an outside restaurant

on the last night of our stay in Stockholm.

A Sushi restaurant : "SUSHI SHO" was near our accommodation.

Actually, we went to "Shushi Sho" on 30th of August, but we couldn't enter

because it was full of reservations, 
so we went to another Sushi restaurant: "MINAKO".

We booked for "Shushi Sho" on the evening 3rd of September.

予約時間よりも早く到着し、お店はまだ開店していませんでしたが

外の席で座って待つことができました。

We arrived earlier than the booked time and the restaurant wasn't open yet, 

but we were able to sit outside and wait.

2) ワイン / Wine

待っている間にスパークリングワインを一杯、飲みました。
While we were waiting, we had a glass of sparkling wine.

食事中に、私は白ワインを飲みました。
During the meal, I drank white wine.

このワインは美味しかった！ 

キッチン前のカウンター席に座りたかったのですが、

窓辺のカウンター席に案内されました。

窓辺ですが、窓を背にキッチンを見る席です。

私の隣には中国人の母娘でした。

観光客は、通常のカウンター席に座らせてくれないのかもしれません。

 This wine was good!

I wanted to sit at the counter in front of the kitchen,

but we were guided to the counter by the window.

It is a window side, but it is a seat looking at the kitchen

with the window behind.

Next to me was a Chinese mother and daughter.

They may not let tourists sit at the normal counter.

食事半ばで、またワインを注文しました。
違うワインをお願いしましたら、これを勧められました。
これも良かったのですが、最初の方が好みでした。

In the middle of a meal, I ordered wine again.

When I asked for a different wine, this was recommended.

This was also good, but I preferred the first one.

日本の有名なお酒が揃っていて驚きました。
I was surprised to find many famous Japanese sake (alcohol).

3) オープンキッチン / Open Kitchen
日本の江戸前寿司屋風のお店です。

オープンキッチンであることことも、伝統的なお寿司屋さんの形式です。

ネタは新鮮、鮨飯も美味しく、サービスも良かったです。

オープンキッチンであること寿司を手から手へ渡すシステムに少しびっくりしました。

私達はオープンキッチンのカウンターではなく、窓側のカウンターでしたので、
お寿司は一貫づつ小皿に盛られて運ばれてきました。

Open Kitchen

This restaurant is an Edomae sushi restaurant, as Japanese.

Traditionally sushi restaurants are "open kitchen", here their kitchen is open kitchen.

The ingredients were fresh, sushi rice was delicious and the service was good.

I was a little surprised at their system,  a chef presented each guest sitting at the counter seats with each sushi from hand to hand.

We did not get the open kitchen counter seats, but were given window counter seats, so sushi was always brought to us on small dishes.

手前がシェフのカール・石崎/ Carl Ishizaki さん : ★です。

彼がどこで修行したのか、わかりませんが、

きちんと江戸前寿司を習ったと感じます。

海外によくある、日本料理もどきや
日本人風の外国人料理人とは明らかに違います。

This side is a chef, Carl Ishizaki : ★

I don't know where he trained, but I think he learned Edomae sushi properly.

Here is clearly different from often found overseas pretend Japanese food 
and pretend Japanese cooks who are not Japanese.

彼は日本人ではないかもしれませんが、
彼なりの寿司への情熱が感じられました。

He may not be Japanese, but I felt his passion for sushi.

4) おまかせコース / Omakase

私達は、前菜からデザートまで15品のおまかせコースを注文しました。

一貫づつの注文が可能なのかはわかりません。

少なくとも、一見さんは、コースからだけのように感じました。



Omakase Course
We ordered a 15 dishes menu from starter to dessert : Omakase.

I don't know if it is possible to order each one.

At least, as first-time guests, I felt we could only order Omakase.

前菜
ハマチでしょうか？
これは、アサツキのトッピングなのでRは食べられません。
Rには生姜が添えられていました (下の画像)

Starter
Is it hamachi : yellowtail?
This is a topping of Asatsuki; chive, so R can't eat.
R's fish was with ginger, below.

ぬたの前菜
ぬたを海外で初めて食べました。
北海かバルト海の甲殻類らしい？
まあ、ネタはおそらく北海、バルト海からだと思います。

'Nuta' Starter
I ate 'Nuta' for the first time overseas.
Seems like a crustacean from the North Sea or the Baltic Sea?
Well, I think the ingredients are probably from the North Sea and the Baltic Sea.

あられ！ 
あられと岩のり、サーモンの炙り....繊細な組み合わせです。

Arare!
Arare, unprocessed nori (seaweed), roasted salmon... this is a delicate combination.

サバの押し寿司の海苔包み
ウエイターは指に挟んで持って来て、私に手渡ししました。
このやり方に慣れていない私は、ちょっと受け取るのを戸惑いました。

Mackerel Pressed Sushi, Nori Wrapped
The waiter held it and handed it to me.
I'm not used to this method, so I was a little confused.

タルタルステーキのまぐろバージョンです。
これにもあられがついています。

It is a tuna version of tartar steak.
This also has Arare.

Rのお皿にはネギはありません。
There is no green onion on R's dish.

イクラが軍艦巻きのお洒落バージョンで出てきました。

Red caviar (Salmon Roe) came out 

in a fashionable version of Battle Ship Roll.

全てのお寿司に、すでに何らかの味がついているので、お醤油を使用する必要はありません。


There is no need to use soy sauce, as all sushi already has some flavour.

'これもいかがですか？'
オプションのオオトロ...追加料金です。
席まで見せにきました。
もちろん、注文しましたよ。

'How about this, too? '
Optional ōtoro : great fatty tuna.. additional charge.
The waiter carried and show this us.
Of course we ordered.

美味しくいただきました。
I enjoyed them.

味噌汁
寿司レストラン 'MINAKO' では、前菜として配膳されましたが、
ここでは日本式に終わりぎわです。

Miso Soup
At the sushi restaurant 'MINAKO', it was served as a starter,
but here it is Japanese style, at the end.

オオトロとキャビア！
贅沢です〜〜！

It's a luxury!

味も、ショーとしても、とても楽しめました。

Sushi Shoさん、ありがとうございました。

ちなみに、Sushi sho は、'寿司処'と言う日本語に由来しているのではと思います。

I enjoyed both the taste and as a show.

Thank you very much Sushi Sho.

By the way, I think Sushi sho comes from the Japanese word : Sushi Dokoro : '寿司処' which means  'sushi restaurant or sushi place'.

デザート
魚のすり身のスポンジケーキのようでした。
これはイマイチ...私にとっては。

Dessert
It was like a chiffon cake with fish paste.
This is not good... for me.

私は、西洋風にアレンジした、意外な組み合わせのSushiが食べたかったのです。

なので、Shushi Shoは寿司の王道に近く、目的の寿司屋としては、外れていました。

お寿司のレストランとしては、とても優れたお店だと思います。

ストックホルムで、人気のSushiレストランであることが納得できます。

お寿司が好きな日本人が行っても、なかなか楽しめると思います。

海外のお寿司屋さんであることを感じ、美味しいお寿司も食べられます。

ですが、日本から直接ストックホルムへ来た日本人は、わざわざここに来る必要はないと思います。

私にとっては、ここを訪れたことは非常に思い出に残り、嬉しいことでした。

最後に、私の要望に付き合ってくれたRに、ありがとう！と言いたいです。

ありがとう！

I wanted to eat a surprising combination of Sushi with a Western twist.

Therefore, Sushi Sho was close to the sushi main style, and it was off as my target sushi restaurant.

I think it is a very good restaurant for sushi.

I understand why it is a popular Sushi restaurant in Stockholm.

Even if a Japanese, who likes sushi goes, I think they would find Sushi Sho quite enjoyable.

Feeling that you are in an overseas sushi restaurant, you can also eat delicious sushi.

But I don't think Japanese people who come to Stockholm directly from Japan need to come here.

For me, visiting here was very memorable and happy.
