1) 新しい展示 / New Display
クリスマスの装飾品を納戸へ納める時がきましたが、その時にはそれらのスペースはなくなっていました。
モノは増やさないように！と戒めているのに、そんな状態に....。
納戸の整理を余儀なくされ、ヨシ！と重い腰をあげ、始めました。
この機会を利用して、家に展示している自分の作品と納戸の作品のいくつかを交換しました。
新しい年になって、新しい展示にする機会を得て、よかったです。
過去の作品を箱を開けて、再確認するのは、レヴューにもなります。
次回への個展に向けての気持ちも新たにできます。
今年の4月に予定していた個展は来年4月に延期しました。
通常、個展後に家の展示は、新作に総入れ替えしますので、今日まで展示していた作品は、
Coonie's Exhibition, Looking for Light (光を求めて), 2019
のために制作をした作品でした。
昨年の半ばには、次回の個展のテーマは決めていたのですが、それに合わせすぎると発想が狭まると思いました。
なので、今回は、選択に新作 (2019) のみ、または、テーマにそったという制約をかけず、今の自分の心に響く作品を選びました。
New Display
It was time to put Christmas decorations into the storage room, but by that time those spaces were gone.
Don't increase things! Even though I warned that, in such a state ....
I was forced to organize the storage room, 'Let's Go!' finally I started!
I took this opportunity to exchange some of my works on display at home with some of the works in the storage room.
I'm glad I had the opportunity to make a new display in the new year.
It is also a review to open the boxes and reconfirm the past works.
I can also renew my feelings for my next exhibition.
My Exhibition scheduled for April this year has been postponed to April next year.
Normally, after my exhibition, my display at home will be completely replaced with new works, so the works display until today were from
Coonie's Exhibition, Looking for Light, 2019.
In the middle of last year, I had decided on the next Exhibition's theme, but I thought that if I matched them too much, my ideas would narrow.
So, this time, I did not limit the selection to only the new works (2019) or according to the theme.
I chose works that resonate with me now.
2) 撮影 / Photographs
A. 1階 / Ground Floor
ほとんどの作品は入れ替えましたが、友人の作品は、同じ位置に飾っていたり、移動して飾っていたりしています。
同じ位置に飾ってある物は、自他作品とも撮影していません。
Most of the works have been replaced, but my friend's works are displayed in the same position or moved.
I did not photograph works by me and other people displayed in the same positions.

会場に展示できませんできませんでした。
下書きなしで直接版にドローイングした作品です。

I made this for my 2017 Exhibition,
but I couldn't show it at the venue.
It was a work drawn directly, without drafts.
展示作品数が減り、すっきりした印象になりました。
The number of displayed works has decreased,
giving a refreshing impression. |

2009年春に英国から本帰国し、鎌倉の桜に感動して
ドローイングした作品です。

2017年の個展のために制作したリトグラフ作品です。
私のリトグラフ作品の中で、最も版数を重ねていますし
気に入っていますが個展には展示できませんでした。
右下のカレンダーは私の姉Yが自分の
フラワーアレンジメント作品をカレンダーにして作りました。
カレンダーは今年用なので今も飾ってあります。

This is my lithograph work created for my 2017 exhibition.
Of all my lithograph works, it has the most printed and I like it,
but I couldn't exhibit it in the exhibition.
The calendar on the lower right was made by my sister Y
using her flower arrangement works as a calendar.
The calendar is for this year, so it is still displayed.

森のめぐみ (黄色)、2009
初めてのリトグラフ作品。
英国でも一度試しに制作したことがあるので正確には2度目です。
鎌倉の山梨工房へ見学にし行った日に先生に
「やってみますか？」
と突然言われ、突然制作した思い出の作品です。
バックを変えたいくつかのヴァージョンがあります。
Forest Gift (Yellow), 2009
The first lithograph work.
It's the second time to be exact because I've made it once in Britain.
The day I went to visit Yamanashi Lithograph Studio in Kamakura, a teacher suddenly asked me, "Would you like to try it?" and then I suddenly made this which is my memorable work. There are several versions with different backgrounds. |

"ヴァレンタインの歌, 2000"
2001年個展「Coonie's Valentine」のための作品。
リサーチで、ヴァレンタインの歌があるのを見つけて
それを描きました。
私がイラストレイターをしていた時の作品です。
ここには、"森のしずくシリーズ, 2012" の1つがありました。
右下の作品は、私が英国留学していた同時期に
NYに留学していた友人、Kaoちゃんの作品で
お誕生日プレゼントにいただきました。
"Valentine's Song, 2000"
Work for my 2001 exhibition, "Coonie's Valentine".
In my research, I found a Valentine song and drew it.
This is a work when I was an illustrator. There was one of the "Forest Drops Series, 2012" here.
The work on the lower right is a work by my friend, Kao, who was studying abroad in NY, USA at the same time as I was studying in Britain, and I was given this as a birthday present. |

鎌倉在住の版画家、よしざわ ようこさん(★/ ★)の作品です。
2019年、東京のフレデリックハリスギャラリー
であった彼女の個展に、夫Rと行き、購入しました。
彼女は我が家まで作品を届けに来てくれました。
2019年5月14日 新しいドラゴンの到着 / New Dragon Arrival
この作品は私のスタジオのドラゴンコーナー(下の画像)に
長らくありました。
Dragon A work by Yoko Yoshizawa (★/ ★), a printmaker living in Kamakura. I and my husband R bought this from her exhibition in Frederick Harris Gallery in Tokyo, 2019. She brought this to our house, below. This work had been in the dragon corner in my studio, below for a long time. |

スタジオのドラゴンコーナー
ここには、作品含め、ドラゴン関連の物を置いていましたが、少し分散しました。
この上には2019年の3作品がありましたが、今はあえて何も飾っていません。
'空き' を作ることも大切だと思ったからです。
Dragon Corner in Studio I put dragon-related things here, including works, but they were a little dispersed.
There were 3 works, 2019 above here, but now I dare not decorate anything.
I thought it is important to make 'space'. |

ゲストルームコーナー
スタジオの一角をゲストルームにしています。
本棚もほぼここにあり、本の整理も多少しました。
作品展示の入れ替えも、本の整理も掃除も
昨年暮れにしていませんでした。
スローな私は、今頃になってしています。
Guest Room Corner A corner in the studio is a guest room. The bookshelves are mostly here, and I've organized some books. I didn't change the displays, organize the books, or cleanings late last year. I'm slow, so finally I'm doing it now. 
指人形
友人のイラストレイター、水野結実 (ミズノユミ) さんの作品。
以前は、違う場所で、ハートの柄のカップに入ってましたが
今回はここに引越しです。
Hand Puppets
Works of Yumi Mizuno, an illustrator, my friend.
They used to be in a cup with hearts pattern in a different place,
but this time they are moving here.
