ロンドンのかわいいアトリエ

『ロンドンのかわいいアトリエ(London Ateliers)』

という本を借りました。

表紙(写真右)上の女の子がつまさき立ちしているのが、
とてもいいです。

ノーマンロックウェルの、女の子がピアノの横でつまさきだっているイラストレーションを思い出しました。

I borrowed a book "London Ateliers" from Kamakura Library. 

In the cover, a girl stands on tiptoe. 

The tiptoe is lovely and good, it reminds me of one of Norman Rockwell's illustrations in which a girl stands on tiptoe beside a piano.

プリンセストヨトミ / Princess Toyotomi

『プリンセストヨトミ』を図書館で予約したとき、私は68番目の予約者でした。

それがとうとう手元にやってきました。                                                                                                   
最初に万城目さんの作品を知ったのは英国に居る時で、
友人のKさんが送ってきてくれた鴨川ホルモーです。

彼女はいつも私の好みにあう本を選んでくれたり、勧めてくれたりしてくれます。

案の定、彼の作品も私はとても気に入りました。

帰国後、『ホルモー六景』『鹿男あをによし』、『ザ・万歩計』と
読んできました。

『鴨川ホルモー』は映画に、『鹿男あをによし』はドラマになりましたが、そちらは観ていません。

"プリンセストヨトミ"は2009年出版され、
イラストレーション：石居摩耶、
デザイン：岩瀬聡、文芸春秋出版です。

おもしろかったです〜〜！アイディアがダヴィンチコードと似てはいますが、それは偶然と考えたいです。

いつもながら万城目さんの’想像力の飛躍’を喜び、下調べも大変でしたでしょうと感心もし、さまざまなバランス感覚の良さを快く感じました。

この３人組(表紙、写真上)の続編が将来出版されそうな予感がしますが、できれば続編でなく全く違う設定の新作をお待ちしております。

とにかく、英国へ行く前に、この本を読めて良かったです。



Princess Toyotomi

When I reserved a book, "Princess Toyotomi" by Manabu Makime, 
 in Kamakura library, my turn was sixty-eight for the book. 

My turn has come at last.

When I was still in Britain, the first book of his which I read was "Kamogawa Horumo". 

My friend sent it to me. She always sends or recommends books which are my favourite types. I enjoyed this one too. 

After I came back to Japan, I read his books "Horumo Rokkei", 
"Shika Otoko Awoniyoshi","Za Manpokei" in sequence. 

The author is popular, for example, "Shika Otoko Awoniyoshi" became a TV drama, "Kamogawa Horumo" became a film.

I haven't watched them yet.

"Princess Toyotomi" is the latest book, published by Bungeishunju in 2009, illustration by Maya Ishi, design by Satoshi Iwase.

The book is fun! I think the idea is similar to "The da Vinci Code", although I want to think it is a coincidence.

I enjoyed Mr,Mikime's leaps of imagination as usual and am impressed by his research and I feel comfortable with his well balanced style of writing. 

I have a hunch that his next story will be about the three who are in the cover (above photo), although I hope his next work will not be anything to do with them.

Anyway, I was pleased that I was able to read it before going to Britain.

除湿器/ Dehumidifier

除湿器をふたつ購入しました。

ネットのレヴューで殆どの方が褒めていた商品です。

到着後すぐに使用し、皆さんのコメントを納得しました。

一晩で１リットル以上もの水がタンクにたまっていたので、本当にびっくりしました。

日本は、鎌倉は湿気が高いのを目で確かめました。


Dehumidifier

I bought two dehumidifiers which have good reviews in the Internet. 

After I have got them, I used them right away. 

I understand the reviews. 

The dehumidifiers collected more than one litre of water in one night. 

I was really surprised. 

I can see high humidity in Japan or Kamakura.

萩尾望都 / Moto Hagio is a very popular cartoonist in Japan

萩尾望都先生の作品、"訪問者"を読みました。

"訪問者"はLapisという美容室を経営している美容師の友人Wさんから借りました。

"トーマの心臓"は私のもの、だいぶ茶色がかっていて古さが目立ちます。

とても久しぶりに読みました。

"トーマの心臓" の主要登場人物の一人、オスカーの幼い頃の物語が
"訪問者"だったからです。

オスカーのファンは主人公のユーリよりも沢山いるように推測します。

ユーリはちょっとまじめすぎるものね。

ちょっとワルというキャラクターが時を超えて(時代に左右されず)
女性に人気があるのだなとあらためて思いました。

Wさんお勧めの"半神"も美容院で読み、野田秀樹氏が演劇にしたという話を聞きました。

いつかそれを観てみたいものです。


Moto Hagio is a very popular cartoonist in Japan

I read or looked at "The Visitor" by Moto Hagio, who has long been a famous cartoonist or Manga author in Japan.

I borrowed it from my friend, 'W' san who manages her hair studio : LAPIS.

I have had Hagio's "Toma's Heart / Toma no Shinzo" series for a long time, although I haven't read them since I was a high school student. 

I read them today, because "The Visitor" is a story of Oscar, a major character of "Toma's Heart", before he went to the school in "Toma's Heart." 

Yury is the main character in the series, although I guess Oscar's fans are more than Yurys', because Yury is too serious for females, isn't he? 

Females' favourite character is a boy or guy who looks cool, naughty but has a warm heart, it is timeless, isn't it?

'W' recommended other Moto Hagio's work, "Half-God."

The story is very short, although it is quite marvelous about a Siamese twin sister.

Hideki Noda who is a popular actor and stage director, made it into a play.

I would like to see it on stage one day.

御成カフェ・ハーヴティ/ Onari Cafe in Kamakura- Herb Tea

1) 御成カフェ/ Onari Cafe

鎌倉のカフェで御成カフェは私(達)のお気に入りのひとつです。

私はランチの日替わりカレーをよくいただきます。

Rはトーストが入ったサラダがお気に入りです。

セットになるとついてくるミニデザートもシンプルですが、とてもバランスが良い味です。

また私は、オーナーの彼女がオーダーを聞く時の熱心なまなざしが好きです。

それはもしかしたら彼女のこぼれ落ちそうな大きな目が私にそう思わせるのかもしれませんが……。


Onari Cafe

Onari Cafe is one of my (our) favourite cafes in Kamakura.

I usually have "Today's Curry", and R likes "Toast Salad".

 Their set has miniature sweets. 

The sweets are simple, though well-balanced. 

And also I like that when the owner listens to our order, her face is eager.

It may be her big eyes, which nearly seem to pop out of her face, that give me this feeling.

2) ハーヴティ / Herb Tea 

この日、初めてハーヴティを注文しました。

自分の体調を話してそれにあわせて調合してくれます。

この日の私の体調は、

『喉がはれぎみ、いがいが、
風邪の初期症状かもしれない』
という状態でした。

作っていただいたのがこのハーヴティで美味しかったです。

紙に使用したハーヴと効能を書いてくださったのを読みながら飲むと、気分的に回復してゆくように思えます。


Herb Tea 

Today was the first time I ordered a herb tea, because

I did not notice them before. 

I was interested in the teas. 

We as customers explain to her our body's condition or problems. 

Then she could prepare the right or best tea for us for today!

My condition was that I had a sore throat, maybe from a cold. 

She made my tea and gave me a paper with a list of the ingredients and how they work. 

The tea was delicious. While I drank the tea, I read the list, and I felt I would be fine.

片岡球子/Painter Tamako Kataoka

1)大川美術館 / Okawa Museum

2010年5月、桐生市の大川美術館に行った際、

『あっ！これいいなっ！』
と思って撮影した絵(日本画)がありました。(写真上)
　
けれども名前もタイトルも覚えていず写真だけが記録としてあります。

因に大川美術館は受付で申請すれば撮影許可がもらえ、撮影は自由なのです。

きっとこれは故大川氏の芸術を分かち合う意識からきているのではないかと察します。


彼の持論は

’絵は人格、心のマッサージ’

だったそうです。


また大川美術館のパンフレットには

’美術館とは、人間性の洗濯屋です。

すなわち、こころの洗濯をしたり、
こころのオシャレをしたりする所なのです。

皆さんどこか傷ついたこころや、溜まったストレスなど　
”絵”を観て、癒してください。’

とあったりするところから、撮影自由なのは、
どうぞ気に入った絵があったら、
いつでもあなたの癒しに使用してください
というメッセージではないかと私には思えます。

この考え方に賛同はするものの、アーティストの版権は守られるべきだと思いますから、他の美術館が撮影を許さないことは納得できます。

とくにアーティストがまだ存命中はその版権は守られるべきだと思います。

私にとって日本画は非常に緊張感がある芸術です。

ですがこの絵 (写真上) には緊張感があまり感じられません。

私には彼女の絵は日本画の中ではハズレもののように思います。

ですが、不思議と心がなごみます。

ちょっと幼い子のかわいらしい動作を見て、心がふっとゆるむような気持ちになるのと似ています。



Okawa Museum

When I visited Okawa Museum in Kiyru city May 2010,

I found a Japanese picture (above photograph), 
I felt I like it. 

Then I took a photograph of the picture, although I did not remember its title and painter. 

I just have the photograph.

By the way, if you ask Reception about taking photographs at the museum, they give you an armband to show you have permission to photograph. 

I guess this is because Mr.Okawa thought art should be shared. 


 I read an article about his own theory,

"a picture is personality and massage for the mind".

And Okawa Museum's pamphlet says,

"a museum is a laundry for your minds. 

It means a museum is for refreshing people's personality or mind, here is where people can wash and sharpen their minds. 

If your heart has been injured, or you are stressed , please look at the pictures here and let yourself be healed. "

Therefore, I think if you find your favourite pictures and take photographs of them in the museum, please use them to help you recover anytime.

I agree with this thought, on the other hand, I think Artist's rights should be protected, so I really understand other museums not allowing photographs. 

Particularly while the artist is alive, it must protect their work.

Generally Japanese pictures are serious and have a tense atmosphere, which I like although I do not feel this picture (above photograph) has this tension. 

I felt her picture style is not in the mainstream of Japanese painting, however, somehow I feel my mind becomes loose and happy. 

It is similar to when I look at a child's lovely attitude, suddenly I feel relaxed.

2)片岡球子 / Tamako Kataoka ; Painter

5月、葉山近代美術館に行き、ミュージアムショップで
片岡球子画集のパンフレットを見つけました。

大川美術館で見た絵は、彼女のものであったと確信。

画家が誰なのかわかり、ほっとした気持ちです。

まだこの画集を買う決心はついていませんが、
彼女の絵は好きだな〜と思います。
[追記,2012年：下記の'1)図書館'ので画集を見たことを書いています。結局買っていません。苦笑
6) 東京-27日-現代美術館(屋内-part 2) / Tokyo-27th-Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo (Inside - part 2)]

私は知りませんでしたが、結構有名な画家だったのですよね。

思えば美術館に置かれるくらいなのですから当然といえば当然なんですが。

彼女は明治時代(1905)に北海道で生まれ、つい最近亡くなったので(2008)、随分と長生きをされた方です。

彼女の初期は、個性が強すぎたようで日本画壇に認められず(わかる気がする〜！)、ゲテモノと作品が評価されたこともあったようで、
彼女は苦しんだようです。

その一方で

「今のあなたの絵はゲテモノに違いないが、ゲテモノと本物は紙一重の差だ…。あなたの絵を絶対に変えてはいけない…」(Wikipediaより)

と励ましてくださる方(小林古径)もいて

「美しく描くことが全てではない」

という強い信念を持ち続け、創作を続けたのでした。

そして現在では作品は美術館にもあり、画集も出され、展覧会も開かれ、大学の主任教授にもなりました。

彼女の経歴(人生)は、私を励ましてくれもします。

よし、がんばろう！
（けれども長生きしないといけないのかしら？）



Tamako Kataoka ; Painter

When I went to The Museum of Modern Art, Hayama, later in May 2010, I found Tamako Kataoka's pamphlet for her picture book. 

Tamako Kataoka was a Japanese painter, and I had confidence the picture in Okawa Museum is her work. 

I was relieved to find the name of the painter. 

I like her work, although I did not decide to buy her picture book at that time.

6) 東京-27日-現代美術館(屋内-part 2) / Tokyo-27th-Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo (Inside - part 2)]

I did not know that she is quite a famous painter in the Japanese painting world. 

Her picture is in Okawa museum, of course she should be well known.

She was born in Hokkaido 1905, and she died recently (2008), so her life was quite long. 

Her beginning as a painter was hard, because the world of Japanese painting did not accept her style of picture, 
(I feel I understand), because I think her colour and style were too strong, so it was strange at that time. 

Some people gave her harsh criticism saying that her painting style is "Odd". 

Although some people encouraged her ; one of them, 
Kokei Kobayashi, who was a Japanese painter said,

"Indeed, your pictures must be odd, however, oddness and the nature of art are different only by the thickness of a piece of paper, so you shouldn't change your own style."

She stuck to her faith that

"Beauty is not everything in painting",

and she carried on with her own approach.

Today, her pictures are in some museums, her picture books published, her own exhibitions were held, 
she became head professor in a university, and so on.

After I knew her history, it encouraged me. 

I will be fine! 
(Although I should live a long life!)

阿佐ヶ谷/citronbooks, Laputa and Kanzake Ya (Japanese pub) in Asagaya in Tokyo

A. お店/ Shop

神戸時代からの友人(と呼んでいもいいかしら？)、

Izumiちゃんはシトロンブックス：citronbooksという絵本を中心にし、かわいい小物も扱っているネットショップ: http://www.citronbooks.com/ を経営しています。

彼女のセレクトショップです。

年に１度または２度、ギャラリーを会場にして実際のお店を開きます。

今までは私が英国にいたので行く事ができませんでしたが、初めて訪ねることができました。



Shop

Izumi has been my friend since when I was in Kobe. 

She manages Net shop : "citronbooks" which is mainly children books, and lovely things : http://www.citronbooks.com/  

It is a shop of her selections. 

She has "citronbooks shop" in a gallery once or twice in a year, it is her exhibition. 

I hadn't been there, because I was in Britain. 

This was my first visit. 

阿佐ヶ谷のCONTEXという

古民家を利用したギャラリーが今年は会場です。

Izumiちゃんはなんて素敵な場所を選ぶのかしらと

感心しつつ作へ進んで行きました。

At this time, she selected CONTEX gallery 

as her shop, it is a lovely old house, 

in Asagaya in Tokyo. 

I was very pleasantly surprised by her choice of shop.

お店の品々は絵本が中心です。

でも他のかわらしい小物、ポストカードなどなど、
どれも私にとっては好ましいものばかり、
彼女のほんわかした優しさが伝わって来る品々です。

The things in the shop are mainly children books, 

although other things are lovely too, 

for example, 

letter sets, post-cards, ink stamps and so on.

Things told us her warm heart. 

奥ゆかしくも愛らしい品々が彼女のアイディアによって
ぴったりあうところに展示されていました。

Her arrangements seemed to suit their lively modest personality and 
her selections seemed to settle down there. 

私達は英国に住む友人やRの家族にむけてのお土産を
ここで選びました。

もちろん自分用にも購入！
とても楽しいショッピングでした。

そうそう、ラッピングも素敵！素朴だけれども上品。

We chose a few souvenirs for our friends and 
his family in his country. 

Of course, some were for myself. 

I really enjoyed shopping there. 

Oh! yes, her gift-wrapping is so good, it is modest and elegant.

私は彼女のセレクションが大好きです。

I love her choices, her taste.

B. 音楽 / Music

Izumiちゃんが『神戸でcoonieから聞いた絵本の話が私の絵本の起源になっていると思う』と言われてとても驚きました。

彼女の言葉を聞いて絵本出版を実現していない私はちょっと恥ずかしいです。

いつか自分の絵本が出版できたらいいな〜と思います。

私も彼女から聞いて好きになったものがあります。

'サイズ'というグループの"風の鏡"です。

今でもとても好きで、その曲を聴くとまるで風が映像を運んでくれるように、絵の世界がひろがっていくのです。

ありがとう、Izumiちゃん!



Music

She told me : 'I think maybe my original interest about children's books was inspired by coonie, because when 
I did not know about it in Kobe, you said a few things about them, then I became interested in children's books.' 

I was surprised and felt a little ashamed, because 
I haven't published any of my children's book yet. 

I hope I would have my children's book as soon as I can.

She influenced me too, she introduced me to the music "Mirror of Wind " by a Japanese group : 'SIZE'. 

I still love the music. 

When I listen to the music, my imagination has pictures spreading as if brought on the wind. 

Thank you to her.

2) ラピュタ / Laputa

総合文化施設？

私はラピュタという劇場を知りませんでした。

そこは
小劇場「ザムザ阿佐谷」(B1F)、
映画館「ラピュタ阿佐ヶ谷」(2F)、
フレンチレストラン「山猫軒」(3,4F)
という構成の建物になっています。

ラピュタという名前はガリバー旅行記(スイフト作) に出て来る空飛ぶ島ラピュタから来ているとどこかで読みました。

ですが、最近では宮崎駿氏の作品"天空の城ラピュタ"の方が知られているので、
そちらからの影響が強いのかもしれません。

それに映画館「ラピュタ阿佐ヶ谷」での上映作品は
アニメーションのようなので、なおさらそうでしょう。

Total Cultural Facilities?

I did not know about a theatre :"Laputa" in Asagaya in Tokyo.

It consists of three parts : 
a small theatre of Zamuza Asagaya in the basement , 
a small cinema of Laputa on the second floor, 
and a French restaurant of Yamaneko ken on the third and fourth floors. 

I read about Laputa somewhere. 

The name of Laputa itself comes from "Gulliver's Travels" (Jonathan Swift), the flying island, although I am sure that Hayao Miyazaki's animation, "Laputa : Castle in the sky", is more popular than Gulliver's Laputa in Japan. 

 So they chose the name and the idea influenced the animation rather than the novel. Moreover, the theatre of Zamuza Asagaya shows mainly animations.

建物
空を飛ぶ島であり舟でありということから上層部には操舵室、
展望台のデザインがほどこされているのだなと私は思いました。

The Laputa building

I think the ideas of a rudder room and an observatory 
on top of the building come from a flying island or a flying ship.

島に見立てる演出として周囲を緑で囲い、
中へ入る時も魚がいる池を
横に見つつ歩く小道の設定になっています。

その小道をぬけるとそこは別世界。

The building pretends to be an island covered with green, 
and the entrance is a pathway. 

We look at a fishpond , while we walk along the path. 

Then we move into another world. 

ラピュタ島で映画を観ている間は

ファンタジー世界にいるという設定なのでしょう。

It supposes when we watch films, animations or plays, 

we are in our own fantasy world.

ユーリノルシュタイン

そしてまたここでは
ユーリノルシュタイン大賞のコンクールも行われています。

ノルシュタインのドローイングとサインが受付近くの壁に描かれ、
彼の作品集も売られていました。

彼とこの劇場の結びつきの深さをを感じます。

Furthermore, "Yury Norshtein Award Competion" is held here. 

His drawing on the wall is close to reception on the ground floor. 

I felt that he and "Laputa" have a strong connection.

ラピュタアニメーションフェスティバル

私達が訪ねた時は’ラピュタアニメーションフェスティバル’中。

このフェスティバルは2000年から、

ユーリノルシュタイン大賞は2005年から開催されています。

フェスティバルの旗の中に彼の代表作のひとつである
"霧の中のはりねずみ"のはりねずみくんがいました。
私はこの作品を観ていませんでしたが、
その日は上映されていませんでした。

Laputa Animation Fastival

When we visited there, they had the "Laputa Animation Fastival".

The festival has been held since 2000, 
"Yury Norshtein Award Competion" started in 2005.

We saw a flag which has a character of 

"Hedgehog in the Fog", one of his well known works.

I haven't seen it yet, and they did not show it on the day we went. 

That's too bad!

The program changed every day in the festival. 

On the day we went, we had three viewings to choose from

1)"Mai Mai Shinko no Sennen Maho / Mai Mai Shinko Miracle" : photo above 

2)"Princess Arete"; the poster title of "Princess Arete", the credits and others are in English, although the film is only in Japanese as well as they do not have English subtitles, so they would be difficult for R to understand.

1)&2): They are gradually becoming more popular, 
so they are shown again and again.

3)"Eastern Europe Animations"

Therefore we watched "Eastern Europe Animations".

I think the films ranged from interesting to boring or from bright to dark (it was very critical of capitalism, so I feel it is very Eastern European animation).

Overall I enjoyed them.

I would like to watch "Mai Mai Shinko no Sennen Maho" and 
"Princess Arete" one day.

私達が利用したのは2Fのラピュタ阿佐ヶ谷で、
50席ほどある椅子はふかふかで座り心地が良かったです。

阿佐ヶ谷にこのような小劇場があることが
わかって嬉しかったです。

We were in the small cinema of Laputa Asagaya for the animations. 

There are only about 50 seats. 

They are comfortable, well arranged and so 
we could be relaxed there. 

I am pleased that I now know Laputa in Asagaya.

後のリサーチで知ったのは、
ラピュタ/Laputa：La Puta
というのはもともとスペイン語で、
その意味は’売春婦’ (a whore)です。

このことを知った後、私はがっかりしました。

スイフトはその意味を知っていてこの言葉を用いたようです。

私も含め多くの人がラピュタという言葉に持つイメージと本当の意味から、かけ離れているようです。

このままの名前でこの映画館はいいのかな〜〜？と訝しみましたが、これはこれで良いのだと今は思います。

何故ならラピュタという言葉は既に日本語になり、
空飛ぶ島を意味するだけのものになっているのだから……。

でもスペイン人がこの建物を観たらどう思うのかな？
と思うとちょっと心配です。

ジョナサンスイフトはこの現象を、ラピュタより高い空の上から、おもしろそううに(してやったり！)しつつ見ているのでしょうか？

英国から戻った後、私はガリバー旅行記のすべてを読みたいと思います。

I researched later, I found that La puta comes from Spanish, it means 'a whore'. 

It is very different from our imagination of the meaning of Laputa. 

Swift knew it. 

After I knew the new information, I was quite depressed. 

At first I thought Laputa in Asagaya shouldn't carry on the name?, although for now, I think it is alright, because Laputa is already Japanese, it means a flying island.

 I am just worried about when Spanish people look at Laputa in Asagaya, how they might feel?
(In Spanish editions of "Gulliver's Travels", it is changed to Lapuntu or Lupata.)

Does Swift look down from above the flying island of Laputa, on this phenomenon with a triumphant smile?

I would like to read the whole of "Gulliver's Travels" in Japanese, after my Britain trip.

3)燗酒屋 / Kanzake Ya (Japanese Pub)

ラピュタでアニメーションを観た後、燗酒屋に行きました。

ネットでそのお店をみつけました。

お店の都合で電話番号は公になっていませんでしたし、夜になってうろうろと探したくはなかったので、昼のうちに場所は確認しておきました。(写真)　

もちろんまだお店は開いていませんが、行き届いた掃除と季節感を出す演出がされており、お店の姿勢、心意気を感じ期待がもてるな〜と思いました。

伺った日から生ビールを開始されたということで、
エビスの生を最初にいただき、お店の名前になっている燗のお酒はそのあとでおかみさんと常連さんのお勧めのものを飲みました。

ネットで美しいと評判、そしてその通りのおかみさんは、知っている限りの英語を使用し、Rに話しかけてくれました。

気持ちのよい対応だけでなく、その心根にも感動！素敵な方だと思います。

Rの食べ物の問題もできる限り解決してくれ、美味しいお料理を作ってくださいました。

常連さんも親切で、英語が堪能の方もいて、
Rも私もリラックスし楽しい晩をすごしました。

おかみさんはじめ、その場にいたお客様にも感謝をしたいです。

何故彼女が燗酒屋と名付けたかというと、ただ彼女が燗のお酒が好きなだけではなく、
お店で私達が心温まり、元気になるようにとの願いがあるからではないでしょうか？

Kanzake Ya (Japanese Pub)

I found "Kanzake Ya" (Japanese Pub) by Internet. 

The pub would not tell people their phone number and 
I would not look for the pub at night, so I found it in the daytime. 

Of course the pub was not open yet, although it was clean and there was a seasonal display outside.

I could see the pub's attitude and beautiful spirit.

At that moment, I looked forward to visiting this pub.

The pub started serving Ebis draft beer on the day we went, so we began with Ebis. 

The pub's name comes from Kan Sake (Zake) : warm Sake.

 So secondly we had a Kan which Okamisan and a regular customer recommended.

Okamisan : Japanese general respectful name for pub's landlady, or hotel or restaurant manager. 

This Okamisan is popular as a beautiful woman in Internet reviews. 

Yes she is and her service is comfortable.

Moreover, she spoke English as much as she could for R.

Then I felt her warm heart. 

And also she accepted R's difficult request for his meal, she cooked specially, it was delicious. 

Regular customers are kind to new customers. 

Some of them speak English, so R could be relaxed, me too. 

We enjoyed the night, thank you to all of them.

Why she named her pub Kan Sake Ya : warm Sake,?

I think that not only does she like warm Sake, 
but also she would make people warm and encouraged there, wouldn't she?
