個展準備、個展開催のため、ブログを長らくお休みしていましたが、再開します。
I had a long break from my blog for the preparation of my exhibition and for holding the exhibition, but now I will restart.
初めて食べる、ペルシャ料理です。

この日は、関西から友人のKちゃんも迎えていたので、4人でペルシア・レストランへ行きました。
これを書いているのは2019年5月で、レストランを訪れてから、半年以上たってしまっていますので、詳細は忘れてしまいました。
I was taken by a couple of friends, TJ&H from Kamakura and we went to eat Persian cuisine (Iranian cuisine) in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, in September, 2018.
It was first time I had eaten Persian cuisine.
According to Wikipedia about Persian cuisine,
"Iranian cuisine (Persian: آشپزی ایرانی āšpazi iranī) comprises the cooking traditions of Iran."
On this day, one of my friends, K chan, who was from Kansai, visited me, so four of us went to a Persian restaurant.
I wrote this in May 2019, and I visited the restaurant over half a year ago, so I have forgotten some the details.

このときRは英国にいたので、彼らは私をペルシャ料理店に連れていってくれたのでした。
R was in Britain at this time, so they brought me to the Persian restaurant.
For years, H san has studied Persian and they have already eaten Persian cuisine many times.
Among them, they choose this restaurant "CASPIAN".
My husband R cannot eat a few ingredients, so they think that Persian cuisine will be difficult for him.

メニュー/ Menu  レストランの雰囲気は品がよくまとめられているように感じました。 I felt that the atmosphere of the restaurant was elegantly organized.  |

ウエイトレスさんは、イラン人 (中近東の方は見分けが私にはつきません)
のようでしたが、日本語で対応してくださり、サービスも丁寧です。
ワイン、美味しかったです。
A waitress is like an Iranian (I can not distinguish people
in the Middle East and Near East),
she
speaks in Japanese and the service is polite.
The wine was good.

| お箸も用意されています。 Chopsticks are also available. |
お箸のカバー、食器、飾られている絵など、綺麗にまとめられ、日本人が好きそうな雰囲気になっていると感じました。
I felt that the cover of the chopsticks, the tableware, the picture being decorated, etc. were finely put together and it was in the atmosphere that the Japanese seemed to like.

| こってりしていそうな外見ですが、それほどではありません。 This looks heavy but was not so much. |

| にんにくまるごとのピクルス 通常は、お料理の合間に食べるようですが、私たちは前菜として食べました。 Garlic Whole Pickles Usually, it seems to be eaten between dishes, but we ate as an appetizer.  にんにく味に飢えている私には嬉しい風味！ I am glad that I am hungry for garlic taste! |

| "ナン"だと思うのですが、"タフタン”と呼ばれるものかもしれません。 "ナン"といえば、私にはインド料理が思い浮かびますが、 ペルシアン料理として出されてもあまり驚きません。 中近東に於ける、アジア圏の"米：ごはん"のような存在に すぐさま感じたからでしょう。 I think it is "Naan", but it may be called "Taftan".
Speaking of "Naan", I think of Indian food,
though I was not surprised that it was served in Persian cuisine.

ペルシア料理は、香辛料がきいた強い味だと思っていましたが、塩気が抑えてあり、優しい味であることにびっくりました。
I thought Persian cuisine was strong flavours with spices, I was surprised that the salty taste was mild and gentle.
We can adjust to our favourite taste with their sauces.
レストランでの食事は日本食を含め、どこの国のものであっても、それは特別なものであって、家庭料理とは違うと思います。
それでもこの日は、私にとっては初めてのペルシア料理体験でした。
ある程度ベースが作られ、最後は自分好みに味付けするところが好印象でした。
美味しくいただきました。
また行きたいです！

The
food in restaurants, no matter which country including Japan, is special and I think different from home cooking.
Still,
this day was my first experience with Persian cuisine.
The food was prepared, and we could season to our tastes that gave me a good impression before we ate.
It
was delicious.
I
would like to visit there again!
