株分け-6月16日/ Root Division - 6th June

とても窮屈そうに見えだしたので、株分けすることにしました。

A. 初めて / First Time
今日、初めて友人のいづみちゃんが、我が家に来てくれました。
ゴールデングリーンのお野菜を使用したお料理もしましたが、写真を撮るのを忘れました。
First Time
Today was the first time, my friend, Izumi visited me.
I cooked some dishes using Golden Green's vegetables, although I forgot about taking photographs of them.

Ginat's Caueway
a. R's close friend C
I had an Ireland trip with R and his close friend C in 2006.
They have known each other for a long time.
C is Indian and was one of the refugees expelled from Uganda.
She, her family and many people were exiled from the country and their properties confiscated by the dictator, Idi Amin Dada Oumee (c1925 - 2003).
However, now I might say they might be lucky or better than the dead of 300,000 or 400,000.

She has worked hard since she came to Britain.
Then I could say that she has been successful.
I am thankful to her who accepts me, even though I am easy going.
b. 伝説 / Myth
ここにはいくつかの伝説があります。
ウィキペディアにも、この本にもそれぞれ違う話が紹介されています。
例えば、この本には次のようにあります。

私はこういう伝説が大好きです。

This is a book in English. Izumi loves this and the author, Arthur Geisert.
I like it, too.

いづみちゃんが鎌倉観光が少しもできなかったので、せめて鎌倉宮
くらいは見てもりたいと思って寄りました。

今回、気がついたのは、拝観料を払って入る場所でないのにかかわらず、いくつかの場所で撮影禁止の立て札があったことです。
昨年の英国旅行で、テイトモダン(ロンドン)が撮影が許可されていて、びっくりしました。
英国の殆どの無料の美術館、博物館は撮影できます。
例えば、大英博物館やV&A博物館など。

厳しかったのは、バッキンガム宮殿敷地内にあるクイーンズギャラリーくらいでしょうか？
あっ！ナショナルギャラリーは撮影禁止だと思います。
それにしても、鎌倉宮の無料の場所で撮影禁止をしている
なんて残念、一体どんな不都合が彼らにおこっているのでしょうか？

Seeing Izumi off at Bus Stop
Izumi did not have any sightseeing in Kamakura, so at least I wanted to show her Kamakura-gu then we dropped in.
I noticed during this visit that a few places show the sign "Do not take photographs!", they are even placed before the admission fee door way.
I was surprised that when I had a trip in Britain last year, Tate Modern in London allows taking photographs.
There are many free museums and galleries in Britain, they allow taking photographs, for instance British Museum and V&A Museum.
However I do remember that Queen's Gallery in Buckingham Palace, rigidly enforces No Photography.
Oh! I think National Gallery does not allow taking photographs, too.

Anyway, Kamakura-gu bans photography even before the admission fee door way.
What a pity!
What do they lose?
You can see a small part of the tent with a black curtain on the right side of the photograph of Kamakura-gu, the tent is for selling hydrangea plants in the hydrangea season.

Natsu (meaning 'summer') hagi / Summer Lespedeza, beside the stream, in front of this house.
I had thought Hagi blossom was only in autumn, however, some plants blossom in summer too, which we called 'Natsuhagi'.
