A. 建物 / Building
歴史的建造物がある中心地 (ウィーン歴史地区) に歩いて行け、他の交通機関も容易に利用できるホテル、'ホテル ・べートーヴェン' / Hotel Beethoven。
('ウィーン歴史地区'はユネスコの世界遺産に登録されています）
Hotel Beethoven, we could walk to the city centre, there are many historical buildings or museums or galleries and easy to get transport.
(The city centre was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.)

裏通りに思える道路に面しているので、最初、ちょっとびっくりしました。
夜、一人でこの道は歩きたくないな〜と感じます。

アン・デア・ウィーン劇場
向かいの建物は、アン・デア・ウィーン劇場 / Theater an der Wien ですが、
ホテルの正面はそのビルの裏 (ミレッカー通り/ Millöckergasse) に面しています。
この劇場は1801年に開館されています。
劇場名の「アン・デア・ウィーン」とは「ウィーン川に面した」という意味。
街の名の由来にもなったウィーン川は、この劇場の由来にもなっています。
ベートーヴェン / Ludwig van Beethoven (1770 - 1827) が音楽監督になり、また、
ヴァイオリンソナタ第9番 (クロイツェル) を作っています。
ホテル
・べートーヴェンの名前は、ここから由来しているに違いありません。
'Theater an der Wien'
The
building opposite is 'Theater
an der Wien',
although
the hotel faces their back on Millöckergasse.
The
Theater was opened in 1801.
The
name of 'Theater an der Wien' means beside the Wien (Vienna
River) .
The
City : Wien (Vienna) name comes from the river, and the Theater,
too.
Ludwig van Beethoven (1770 - 1827) was a music director of the Theater and also
in
1803 and 1804 he lived in the Theater and then
Violin Sonata
No. 9 (Kreutzer Sonata) were written here.
The
origin of the name of Hotel Beethoven must be these.

に登場する '鳥刺しパパゲーノ' の彫刻が設置されています。
私達は、滞在中にこのオペラを他の劇場ですが見に行きました。 そのことはのちのセクションに載せます。 Papageno Gate The statue of Papageno is set up there. Papageno is one of characters of "The Magic Flute" [the opera by Mozart (1756 -1791), 1791] We went to see the opera in other theater. I will write in a later section.

パパゲーノを演じるエマヌエル・シカネーダー (1751 - 1812)。
彼が初めてパパゲーノを演じました。
彼は劇場支配人であり、台本家であり、演出家であり、作曲家であり、俳優でもありました。 そして彼がアン・デア・ウィーン劇場を設立したのです。
Papageno
This shows Emanuel
Schikaneder (1751 - 1812) as Papageno.
He was the first Papageno. He was an impresario, dramatist, actor and composer. He founded 'Theater an der Wien'.

| １階の私達の部屋 お風呂を希望していたら、この部屋になりました。 このホテルは１階の部屋にしかお風呂がありません。 まあ、このことは、帰宅後に知りました。 このホテルのエレベーターは小さくて一つなので、 上階に行くのに、ちょっと不便です。 1階といっても正確には建物の中では3階で、 ホテルの出入りや朝食の部屋への移動は階段で気軽にできました。 Our Room in Ground Floor We requested our room with a bath and then they gave us this room. This hotel has bath-room only on ground floor. Well, we knew this after we got back home. The hotel only has one lift as well as it is small, so it is a little inconvenient. Even though I say the ground floor, it is to be exact the second floor of the building, so it was easy going in and out by the steps and moving to the dining room for breakfast. |

| 枕のセッティングが珍しい 部屋は1階だからなのか、何かしらの、タバコではない臭いがしました。 初日に、エアコンが故障していて、修理を依頼しました。 修理後も、部屋の臭いはしていました。 It is unusual pillow setting. I wonder here is ground floor so something smelled, it was not cigarette. On the first day, the air‐conditioning was wrong so we asked for it to be repaired. After repairing, the smell was still there. |

| バスマット 4泊のうち、１回だけこのバスマットでした。ほかは白いバスマット。 こういう変化をどうでも良いと思う人と嬉しく思う人がいるでしょう。 私は、もちろん後者。踏まれるベートベンの気持ちを考えるほど、 デリケートでないのも確か (笑)。 けれども、もしも私がデザイナーだったら、 または、デザインナーが日本人だったら、 この企画はしないのではないかと思います...。 Bathmat This style was once in our four nights. Other days were white bathmats. There are people for whom this change doesn't matter and others who feel joyful. Of course I am a latter. It is sure I am not delicate enough to not walk on Beethoven's feelings (laugh). However, if I were a designer or the designer was Japanese, this bathmat could not be. |

| バスケットがピクニック風 有料なので、手をつけませんでした。 ウィーン土産に良いと思えるウエハース(ピンク色のパッケージ)を見つけました。 Basket is picnic style These are charged for, so we do not touch. I found the wafers (pink pack) and I thought they would be good souvenirs. |

| 容器には、本物のコーヒーがたくさん入っています。 カフェ文化であることを感じます。 写真ぼけててすみません。 The container has a lot of real coffee, I feel here has cafe culture. Sorry, no focus. |

| バーと言ってもミニバー。 レセプションの脇にあると思ったら、 サービスしてくれる人がレセプショニスト、なるほど〜。 本格的とは言い難いけれど、とにかく、一杯ビールを飲みたい、 コーヒーが飲みたいという時には便利です。 Even though they say this is a bar, it is mini-bar. I realized it is next to reception and indeed a receptionist serves here, It is hardly a real bar, although anyway when we would have a glass of beer or a cup of coffee, here is convenient.  私は、ビール、Rはカフェラテ(下) ウィーン空港から何も飲んでいず、喉が渇いて仕方がない! とにかく、とりあえず、一杯！という時でした。 実は2杯飲みました(笑)。 I had a beer and R has a cafe latte (below). We hadn't had any liquid since we got Vienna Airport, so anyway we would have a glass or cup of something for our thirst at this time. In fact, I had two glasses! (laugh)  |

紅茶は、デンメア/ DEMMER のもので、ラッキー！！
実は私はお酒よりも紅茶の方が好きなのでした。
演じる杉下右京が好んで飲む紅茶がデンメアだそうです。
2014年にはこのドラマのためのブレンドティーが作られたというので、
ドラマの人気ぶりがわかります。→★

| 私の朝食 ここの朝食は豪華で好きでした。 朝からワインが飲みたくなります。 パテもスモークサーモンもハムもチーズも美味しい~! 部屋が臭いのもこれで帳消し〜！ My Breakfasts Here, breakfast is gorgeous, I love it! They made me feel like having a glass of wine in the morning. Pate, smoked salmon, hams and cheeses are delicious! Our room had a bad smell, however, this deletes the problem for me~!  |

カールスプラッツ / Karlsplatz 旧駅舎
カールスプラッツ駅は、 アール・ヌーヴォー様式の建築の代表例として有名です。 建築したのは、 オットー・ワーグナー ( 1841 - 1918) と、
ヨゼフ・マリア・オルブリッヒ (1867
- 1908)。
オルブリッヒは、セセッション館も建築しています。
現在は駅としては使用されていず、駅舎の一つは、
ウィーン美術館
/ Vienna
Museum の
展示空間の一部及びカフェとして、使用されています。
 Karlsplatz Stadtbahn Old Station Karlsplatz Stadtbahn Old Station is famous as an example of Art Nouveau style architecture. Otto Koloman Wagner (1841 - 1918) and Joseph Maria Olbrich (1867 - 1908) designed this.
And
also Olbrich designed Secession
Building.
One
of the buildings is now used as an exhibition space
by the Vienna Museum, and also it is used as a café.  素敵〜と思いつつ、撮影するときは幸せです。 While I feel superb I photograph, I am very happy.   鬼瓦 (下の写真) のよう... It looks like Onigawara, below :

B. セッセション館 / Secession Building

Building
そのグループの展示施設として、セッセション館が
建物は、ヨゼフ・マリア・オルブリッヒ (1867 -1908) によって設計されました。
月桂樹の金のドームと白壁のレリーフが特徴的です。
金のドームから、「金のキャベツ」という別名もあります。
この建物について、何も知らなくても、
金のドームが、ここには何かあるぞ！と伝えてくれます。
ウィーン滞在中、何度となく、この前を通ったのに、
中へは一度も入りませんでした。 Secession Building (Vienna Building)
In
1897, GustavKlimt (1862
- 1918) and
others formed 'Vienna
Secession'
and
also the 'Secession Building' was opened as Display
facilities by them.
The characteristics are Golden Laurel Dome and white wall relives.
The nickname is 'Golden Cabbage' which comes from the golden dome.
Even though we do not know anything about the building,
the golden dome tells us here has something!
While we stayed in Vienna, we passed a few times
however, we did not go in.

C. カールス教会 / Karlskirche (St. Charles's Church)

カールス教会
カールス教会は、おとぎ話に出てくるような優雅なお城のようです。 行くことはできませんでしたが、ホテルからどこかへ向かう都度に、 綺麗だな〜と思って見ていました。 バロック建築の傑作と言われています。 1713年にカール6世 (1685 - 1740 / 在位 1711 - 1740) がペスト撲滅を祈願して、 フィシャー・フォン・エルラッハ親子に作らせました。

Karlskirche
looks like a gracious castle in a fairy-tale.
Although I could not go there, every time we went to somewhere from the hotel I saw it and felt it was beautiful. They say it is a masterpiece of the baroque architecture.
In
1713, Charles
VI (1685
- 1740 / reign 1711 - 1740) prayed for
the
eradication of Prague and
commissioned this church from
Johann
Bernhard Fischer von Erlach (1656 -1723) and
his
son, Joseph
Emanuel Fischer von Erlach (1693 - 1742). |
