1) 地下鉄オデンプラン駅 / Odenplan metro station 
自然や文化を楽しむ観光地なら、"お買い物・デイ" を作る必要なないかもしれませんが、北欧デザインの中心地の1つ、ストックホルムにいるのですから、北欧デザインの小物の店を訪ねる日を作りたいと思いました。

 この日が、私にとっては、"お買い物・デイ" でした。

 ショッピングを終えて、地下鉄オデンプラン駅 / Odenplan metro station へ戻ってきました。

この駅は、ストックホルムでの私と夫Rの滞在場所：”Perfect city center location" : ★の最寄駅でした。

Odenplan metro station 
If a tourist spot is known for enjoying nature or culture, I may not need to have a "Shopping Day", but I wanted one since I was in Stockholm, one of the centres of Nordic design, a day I visit shops for Nordic design accessories.

 This day was a "Shopping Day" for me.

After shopping, I and my husband R returned to Odenplan metro station.

 This station was the closest station to our  stay in Stockholm: "Perfect city center location" : ★.

地下鉄オデンプラン駅構内 
地下鉄オデンプラン駅は1952年に開業しました。
2017年にはローカル電車 (Stockholm commuter rail) の
ストックホルムオデンプラン通勤駅 
(Odenplan commuter train Station)
が開設されました。

In 2017, the Stockholm Odenplan commuter train station 
of Stockholm commuter rail was opened.

ストックホルムの地下鉄 は、スウェーデンで唯一の地下鉄で、
1950年にオープンしました。
全長105.7kmの3路線で100の駅があり、そのうち90の駅には、
古いものは1950年代からの芸術作品が展示され、
"世界一長い美術館" とも呼ばれています。

The Stockholm metro is Sweden's only metro and opened in 1950.
There are 100 stations on 3 lines with a total length of 105.7 km, 90 of which have artworks on display, the oldest coming from the 1950’s 
and are also known as the "World’s Longest Art Gallery".



2) オデンプラン広場 / Odenplan  Plaza
A. グスタフ・ヴァーサ教会 / Gustaf Vasa Church
地下鉄オデンプラン駅の地上には、三角形のオデンプラン広場 : Odenplan があります。

オデンプランは、北欧神話の神、オーディン(Odin) にちなんで名付けられました。

滞在中は、'オデン' が、北欧神話のオーディンに由来するとは知りませんでした。

もし知っていたら、そこに滞在している喜びがもっとあったように思います、残念....。

オデンプラン広場は、スウェーデンの建築家、
アギ・リンデグレン / Agi Lindegren (1858 - 1927) によって設計されました。

広場の主役のグスタフ・ヴァーサ教会 (下の画像)もリンデグレンが1906年に、
バロック・リバイバル (ネオ・バロック)様式で、設計しました。

最初にグスタフ・ヴァーサ教会を見た時から、綺麗な教会だな〜と思っていました。

ここに滞在中は、ほぼ毎日、グスタフ・ヴァーサ教会前の道を歩きましたが、この日、初めて教会の撮影ができました。

 ですが、中へ入る機会は作れませんでした。

近く(約300m)には、バロック・リバイバル様式の後にあらわれた、北欧古典主義 [Nordic Classicism / または北欧新古典主義/ Nordic Neoclassical) ]様式のストックホルム市立図書館が建っています。

偶然にも、この日の前半に、私達はストックホルム市立図書館を訪ねています。

この2つ建物を比べると、様式の違い、時代の違いが明らかです。

私は、丸首のふんわりしたブラウスがグスタフ・ヴァーサ教会、襟つき、キリッとしたシャツがストックホルム市立図書館のように感じます。

 現在の北欧デザインは、後者の様式を受け継いでいますね。

 グスタフ・ヴァーサ教会 / Gustaf Vasa kyrka は、1906年に開かれ、
にちなんで名付けられました。

グスタフ・ヴァーサは、14世紀末のカルマル同盟以来120年続いたデンマーク王国の支配から、スウェーデンを独立に導いてヴァーサ朝を興しました。

ユールゴーデン島にあるヴァーサ博物館には、年間100万人以上の来場者があります。

巨大船、ヴァーサ号が展示されています。

このヴァーサ号を作ったのは、ヴァーサ朝、6代目の
グスタフ2世アドルフ(1594 - 1632 / 在位：1611 - 1632) 
でした。

グスタフ・ヴァーサ教会 / Gustaf Vasa Church

Gustaf Vasa Church
Above the Odenplan metro station is the triangular Odenplan plaza.

The Odenplan is named after Odin, the God of Norse mythology.

During our stay, I didn't know that 'Odenplan' came from Odin in Norse mythology.

If I had known it, I think I would have had more pleasure of staying there, it's a pity.

The Odenplan plaza was designed by a Swedish architect,
 Agi Lindegren (1858 - 1927).

The Gustaf Vasa Church (above) the main feature of the plaza, was also designed by Agi Lindegren in 1906 in the Baroque Revival (or Neo Baroque) style.

When I first saw Gustav Vasa Church, I thought it was a beautiful church.

During my stay here, I walked in front of the Gustav Vasa church almost every day, and on that day I was able to take a picture of the church for the first time.

 However, we couldn't make an opportunity to go inside.

Nearby (about 300 m) is the Stockholm City Library in the Nordic Classicism  (or Nordic Neoclassical) style, which appears after the Baroque Revival style.

Coincidentally, we visited the Stockholm Public Library earlier this day.

If you compare the two buildings, you can see the difference in style and time.

I feel that the Gustav Vasa Church is like a fluffy blouse with a round neck, the Stockholm City Library is like a sharp shirt with standard collar.

Present-day Nordic design inherits the latter style.

Gustaf Vasa Church / Gustaf Vasa kyrka was opened in 1906 and named after 
Gustav I of Sweden (Gustav Vasa  / 1496 -1560 / reign : 1523 - 1560).

Gustav Vasa led Sweden to independence from the Kingdom of Denmark which continued 120 years after the Kalmar Union at the end of the 14th century, and Gustav Vasa established the House of Vasa.

The Vasa Museum is in Djurgården Island and more than one million people visited there annually.

A huge ship, Vasa is installed in the Museum.





B. お盆 / Tray
後日、オデンプラン広場が描かれたお盆をデザイントーリエット   / 
 Designtorget のオンライン・ショップで見つけました。

お店では、そのお盆は見ませんでした。

置いてなかったのか、私が気がつかなかったのかはわかりません。

私にとっては、素敵なお盆ですし、思い出にもなるので、見つけていたら買いました。

これが一番、買い物の中で、残念なことです。

お盆の線画は、スウェーデンのグラフィックデザイナー兼ポスターアーティストであるオレ・エクセル / Olle Eksell (1918 - 2007 ) によって描かれました。

Tray 
After our visit, I found a tray with the Odenplan plaza in the Designtorget online shop.

I don't know if they didn't have it in the shop or I didn't notice.

For me, it's a wonderful tray and it's a good memory, so I would have bought it if I had found it.

This is the most disappointing part of my shopping.

The line drawing of the tray was drawn by a Swedish graphic designer and poster artist, Olle Eksell (1918 - 2007).

C. オレ・エクセルの" 目" / Olle Eksell's "Eyes" 
オレ・エクセルの仕事で最も知られているのは、スウェーデンのお菓子メーカー、マゼッティ社 (mazetti) の 'Ögonkakao' の "目" のデザインです。

現在、メーカーは、フィンランドのファツェル / Fazer 社に変わっていますが、パッケージには、今もって、"目" が使われています。
2017年ファツェル店訪問については下記。

オレ・エクセルの" 目" は、近代デザインの古典になりました。

Olle Eksell's "Eyes" 
The best known of Olle Eksell's work is the design of the "eyes" of  'Ögonkakao' by a Swedish sweet maker, Mazetti.

 Today the manufacturer has changed to Finnish Fazer, but the packaging still uses "eyes".
About a Fazer shop visit in 2017, below.

The "Eyes" by Olle Eksell has become a modern design classic.

3) パン屋さん / Bakery 
私達の宿泊所：”Perfect city center location" の建物の向かいに、パン屋さんがありました。

目の前にあると言うのに、なかなか利用できませんでした。

 それは私達の都合もあるし、私達が利用したい時には、パン屋さんが閉まっていたり、パンがほぼ完売だったりしていたからです。

この日、レストラン、"Rolfs Kök" でのディナーの前に一度、宿泊所に戻りました。

 その時間にはパン屋さんは開いていて、パンも販売されていました。

 買ったパンは翌日の朝食になりました。

 お店のディスプレイがあまりにも美味しそうで、期待しすぎたのかもしれませんが、味は普通かな？と感じました。

 北欧デザインに唆 (ソソノカ) されてしまったかな？(笑)



Bakery 
There was a bakery across the street from the building of our accommodation: "Perfect city center location".

Although it was in front of us, it had been hard to use.

This was because of our schedule, when we wanted to use it, the bakery was closed or the bread was almost sold out.

We returned to our accommodation once before dinner at the restaurant, 
"Rolfs Kök".

At that time the bakery was open and bread was on sale.

The bread we bought was for breakfast the next day.

The display of the shop looked so delicious that we might have expected too much, so we felt the taste was just normal.

Have we been misled by Nordic design? (Laugh)
