1) 花を見に / To See the Flowers
七里ガ浜住宅街への散策は、気軽にできるようになりました。
今日は、七里ガ浜住宅街の花を見ることを目的に歩きました。
この住宅街は、よく庭や花の手入れをしていて、道路からも楽しめます。
鎌倉山住宅街も庭の手入れをよくしているように見受けられますが、一般道路からあまり見えません。

グレビレア・ロスマリニフォリア
近頃、i-phone のグーグルレンズ(Google Lenz)という機能を
使えるようになり、散策中に見たわからない植物を
検索できるようになりました。
この写真の植物は、'グレビレア・ロスマリニフォリア'
であろうと見当がつけられたのもそのおかげです。

To See the Flowers
Nowadays I can more easily stroll around the Shichirigahama residential area than before.
Today, I came to see the flowers in the Shichirigahama residential area.
This residential area is well maintained with gardens and flowers that can be enjoyed from the road.
The gardens in the Kamakurayama residential area also seem to be well-maintained, but often they are not so visible from the general road.

2) TEPEE HEART
七里ガ浜住宅街のいくつかの家々は、小さなホテルやギャラリー、
美術館などに見えます。
なので、TEPEE HEARTの建物も、そららの中の1つに思えないこともありません。
ですが、ハリウッドの 'HOLLYWOOD'の文字看板を思わせる、庭に設置された"TEPEE HEART"の文字看板が、明らかに一般住宅でないことを示しています。
また、ここの庭は、明らかにプロの手が入っているセンス、植栽を
感じさせます。
この庭を見ることがとても楽しみです。

"TEPEE HEART"は湘南を中心に
注文住宅の設計から施工までをする会社です。
"TEPEE HEART" is a company that designs and constructs custom-built houses mainly in Shōnan. |
Despite being located in the Shichirigahama residential area,
Some of the houses in the Shichirigahama residential area look like small hotels, galleries, and museums.
It is not that the TEPEE HEART building doesn't seem like one of them, however, it just the "TEPEE HEART" signboard installed in the garden, reminiscent of Hollywood's 'HOLLYWOOD' signboard, clearly indicates that it is not a general residence.
In addition, the garden here clearly has a sense of professionalism and planting.
I am very much looking forward to seeing this garden.

公道に数種の花が咲いているのが遊び心があり、好きです。

I like the playfulness of having several kinds of
flowers blooming on a public road.
マツバウンラン
マツバウンラン (松葉海蘭)と推測。
北アメリカ原産、オオバコ科、
日本では、1941年京都で発見されました。
漢字の名前が女優さんの芸名のように感じます。
三重県総合博物館のサイトでは下記のように説明しています。
"海岸に生えるランに似た花をつける植物として
名がついたウンラン(海蘭)の仲間であることと、線形の葉が
マツの葉に似ていることから名づけられたようです。"

アオスジアゲハ
アオスジアゲハ (青条揚羽)を
鎌倉に住み始めてから時々見かけるようになりました。
この蝶は北海道を除く地域に生息しているようなので、
日本では比較的どこでも見ることができるはずです。
私の生活が蝶に目を止めることができなかったのだと思います。

私がモスラに惹かれるのは、その外観でなく、設定です。
小美人 (ショウビジン)の設定や、モスラが卵から孵化し、成虫になり、羽化する変化が面白く感じます。

Mothra's Fairies. : Shobijin Shobijin means meaning "little beauties" in Japanese. Shoubijin of twins are fairies who serve Mothra, the guardian deity of Infant Island, as shrine maidens. What draws me to Mothra is not the appearance, but its setting.
I find interest in the setting of Shoubijin, and the changes in Mothra, hatching from an egg, becoming an adult, and then emerging.
In many of Toho's Kaijyu films (Monster Films), Mothra following Godzilla is also not depicted as a villain or the personification of destruction from the beginning, it is some kind of guardian deity.  |

イヌバラ
イヌバラは、バラの原種の一つで、英国では、
"Wild rose"といえば、この品種を指すのが一般的だそうです。
果実は、ローズヒップ。
この花の実が、あのローズヒップの花だったのだと
今になって知りました。
私にとっては、花よりも、食品に用いられる、
ローズヒップの方が馴染みがあったのです。
ハマナスの実もローズヒップとして使用されます。
バラの果実はみなローズヒップと呼ばれますが、
食用にもちいられるのがおもにこの2種類のようです。
Dog Rose
The Dog Rose is one of the progenitors of the rose, and in Britain, speaking of "Wild rose", it seems that it is common to point to this variety. Now I know that the fruit of this flower was the flower of that rosehip. For me, I was more familiar with rosehip, which is used for food, rather than flowers. All rose fruits are called rose hips, but it seems that these two types are mainly used for food. このお宅の花は、イヌバラだけでなく他の花々も 道に溢れて出ています。 庭を作るというよりも、お花を育てるのが お好きなのだな〜と感じます。
The flowers of this house are not only dog roses but also other flowers overflowing on the road. I feel that they like to grow flowers rather than making their garden. |

ジギタリス
私はジギタリスを最初に '狐の手袋' と覚えました。
'狐の手袋'はこの花の通称の1つです。
私にとっては、とても英国らしい植物、
英国の庭でよく見かける花です。
毒にも薬草にも用いらるので、
'魔女の手袋' '魔女の指抜き' などいう通称もあります。
Foxgloves : Digitalis
I first remembered Digitalis as 'Fox Gloves'. 'Fox's Glove' is one of the common names for this flower. To me, it's a very English plant, a flower that I often see in English gardens. Since it is used both as a poison and as a medicinal herb, it is also known as 'Witch's Gloves', 'Witch's Thimbles' and so on. |

ヤグルマギク
Cornflowers ヤグルマギクは青い花が一般的ですが、 ここには濃いピンク(上)と 白とピンクのコンビネーション(下)があります。
Cornflowers typically have blue flowers, but here I see deep pink, above and a combination of white and pink, below. |

オルレア
オルレア(オルラア)はセリ科の植物。
私はセリ科の花が大好きです。
作品のモチーフにしたことがあります。
英国では、野原や道端に自生していますが
日本ではかなり高い価格で売られています。
以前、反対するRを押し切って購入しましたが、
枯れてしまいました。
こんなふうにちゃんと咲いていて羨ましいです。
よく面倒をみていらっしゃるのだな〜と感心します。
Orlea
Orlea is a plant of the Apiaceae family.
I love Apiaceae flowers.
I have used it as a motif for my work.
In Britain, they grow wild in fields and roadsides, but in Japan they are sold at a quite high price. I bought it against R's wish, but it withered. I envy theirs for blooming like this. I'm impressed that they are taking care of them.

劣化したマイナスなイメージも
ピンクのマーガレットは補ってくれています。

4) 鯉のぼり / Koinobori : Carp Streamer

七里ガ浜自治会館 鎌倉市七里ガ浜東4-1-4 その関係で、毎年りっぱな鯉のぼり (鯉幟) が揚げられています。
Shichirigahama Association Hall 4-1-4 Shichirigahama Higashi, Kamakura Shichirigahama Association・Children's Association is located in the Shichirigahama Association Hall. are raised every year. |
