Where is Český Krumlov?
チェスキー・クルムロフは、チェコ (共和国) の 南ボヘミア州 の小さな都市で、
世界遺産です。
北鎌倉のペクニコヴァのシェフにチェスキー・クルムロフを薦めていただきました。
The chef of a restaurant, "La Peknikova" in Kitakamakura, Japan, recommended Český Krumlov to us.

| 案内所にいくつかの場所の時計があり、その中に網走の時計もあります。 姉妹都市かと思いましたが、違いました。 どうしてあるのでしょうか？ 他の地名との関連性もわかりません... There are some clocks of foreign places in the Information Centre. One of them is Abashiri City in Hokkaido, Japan. I wondered if Abashiri and Český Krumlov are sister cities, in fact there are not. Why is the city clock there? And also I do not know why they chose the other places. |

'ロンドン・ガトウィック空港' から、 'ヴァーツラフ・ハヴェル・プラハ空港 / プラハ空港' へは、英国の格安航空会社、イージージェット / easy Jet を初めて利用し飛行しました。
格安の理由を体験し、イージージェットはもう使いたくない...と思ったものの、
既に月末からのウィーン旅行には、この会社のチケットを購入済みでした....とほほ。
チェコ (共和国) の地に降り立ったのは、初めてです。
チェコ語が公用語で、英語の普及率は日本と同じくらいかな〜という印象でした。
私達は、プラハ空港到着当日、 チェスキー・クルムロフ / Český Krumlov に向かいました。
プラハから日帰りできるとお聞きしたのですが、スローな私達では、日帰りでは十分見て回れないと思い、2日滞在することにしました。
チェスキー・クルムロフに向かうには、一般的に、電車 (結局最終的にバスも使用）とバスの方法があり、私達はバスを選択しました。
チェスキー・クルムロフ行きのバスは、スチューデント エージェンシー / Students Agency という会社が一般的で、私達もそれを利用しました。
Students と会社名にありますが、学生でなくても、誰でも使用できます。
チェスキー・クルムロフ行きのバスは、プラハ空港からは出発していないので、始発停留所があるプラハ市内のAnděl駅に移動しなければなりません。
ネット情報で予約を勧められていたので、私達も予約しましたが、そのときには丁度よい時間は既に満席、ぎりぎりのAnděl駅 発か夜まで待つ時間のバス席しか残っていませんでした。
ぎりぎり間に合うかものバスを選んだ私達はタクシーで空港からAnděl駅へ移動。
ですが、ネット購入時にミスをし、私達のチケットがチェスキー・クルムロフ発、プラハ行き(逆方向) / 'Na Knížecí 停留所' のもので使用できませんでした。
既にキャンセル待ちをしている人々の後につき、乗れるかどうかどきどき.......自分の愚かさも攻めつつ....私の阿保アホあほ〜〜〜！
これなら最初からちょっと高いけれど、プラハ空港からチェスキー・クルムロフのホテルまで行ってくれる、シャトルバスを利用すれば良かったと思いましたが、後の祭り.....。
それでも、予定した日にホテルに到着できたので、良しとしようと、自分で自分を慰めたのです。

To Český Krumlov
We flew from London Gatwick Airport to Václav Havel Airport Prague / Mezinárodní letiště Václava Havla Praha, for the first time I used "easy jet" which is a British low-cost airline.
I had experiences of the reasons for low-cost, so I felt I would not use again however, we had already bought tickets for Vienna trip at the end of August....boohoo.
It was the first time I stood in the land of the Czech Republic.
Their official language is Czech language.
My impression is of the diffusion of English in the country, similar to in Japan.
We travelled to Český Krumlov on the day we arrived in the country.
We heard it is possible to take a one day trip to Český Krumlov, although we are slow and can not look around enough in a day so we decided on staying two nights.
The approaches to Český Krumlov are normally by train (which still needs a bus) or coach, we selected a bus of Students Agency, if you are not student, you could use in other words anybody can use.
The bus does not depart from the airport so we must go to Anděl Bus Station in Prague.
The Internet information recommends us booking so we did by internet.
The time we would have chosen was fully booked so we had to choose a very tight time or night time.
We selected the risky one, using a taxi from the airport to the Anděl Station, however, we could not use our tickets because when we booked, we made mistakes and bought the opposite way from Český Krumlov to the Anděl Station, Prague...... / 'Na Knížecí Stop' silly me.
Then we must joint the bus queue who waited for cancellations and I felt upset, in fact we could buy new tickets.
It would have been better to use a shuttle which is more expensive but it departs from the airport to hotels in Český Krumlov rather than our way, it was too late at that time....
However, anyway we arrived in our planned hotel on the day, so I tried to cheer myself up and said it was better than wasting our hotel booking in Český Krumlov and getting a hotel in Prague.

| スチューデント エージェンシー バス 座席は快適、飲み物もサービスされます。 音楽や映像もイヤホンとスクリーンで楽しめますが、日本語はありません。 難は、３時間の従者中、一度もトイレタイムがありません。 日本では考えられないですが、時間を守らない西洋人気質を考えると バス会社がこのようにしたくなる気持ちもわかる気がします。 でもバスに備え付けてくれれば良いのにと思うのは、 私が便利に慣れた日本人だからでしょうか？ 現地到着後、何はともあれ公共トイレに駆け込みました！ チェコのトイレは有料が多いと聞いていたので小銭を用意していました。 有料と言っても安いし、綺麗なので、ネガティブな印象はありません。 ただ小銭をいつでも用意していなくてはという多少のストレスは チェコ滞在中ずっとありました。 Students Agency Coach Their seats are comfortable, they included hot drinks, we can listen to music and watch some films or dramas with earphones, but not in Japanese and limited in English. The problem is that we cannot have a toilet break when the coach stops in a trip of three hours. We cannot believe it in Japan, although I consider about Westerner disposition, not caring about time, then I feel I understand the coach company's thought. However, I wish their coach had a toilet. Is this because I am a Japanese who is used to convenience? After arriving, we ran into a public toilet! I heard we should pay for many of the toilets in Czech Republic, we readied coins. Even though their toilets charged, they are cheap and clean, so I did not feel negatively. Just I had a little stress, I always need to have some coins while I stayed in the country. |

起伏があまりないところが英国とは違う印象があります。
それでも、私には英国と田園地帯はそうは違わないと感じました。
From window of bus going to Český Krumlov from Prague
There does not seem so hilly, my impression was this is different from Britain.
However, I did not feel the countryside is so different from Britain.
