小さな鉢を購入し、玄関アプローチ沿いに地植えをしたら、とても大きくなりました。
大きくなりすぎて、行き来の邪魔になるので、仕方なく、春先に多少枝を落とします。
今年は、エニシダのそばを通ると甘い香りがしました。
エニシダから花の香りを気づいたことが今までなかったのですが、今年は気がつきました。
沈丁花 (ジンチョウゲ) のように強くはありませんが、ほんのりとした甘い香りは、玄関へのアポローチには適しているように思います。

とあり、ファンタジー好きの私は嬉しくなります。

have never noticed the scent of flowers from Cytisus, however, I did notice this year.
It is not as strong as a Daphne Odora : Jinchouge in Japanese, though it seems to be suitable for the approach to the entrance, with the faint sweet scent.

満開のエニシダは黄色の炎を揺らしている姿でとても豪華です。
お隣さんも
「素晴らしい！挿し木を試したいので、枝を分けて頂けますか？」
と聞かれました。
