1) 水没 / Submergence
Macの修理が数回重なり、最後には水没させてしまいました。
(実際は白湯をMacにかけてしまったのですが、'水没させた'とアップルとしては表現することを知りました。)
水没させてしまたMacには、今年の個展のデータなどが入っていました。
5月にアップルの技術者と電話で相談し、アップル・ストアーへゆき、直接Macをみてもらうことを勧められ、表参道のアップル・ストアーへました。
そのときに、アップルに修理に出すと、それらのデータを失うことになり、特別な業者に依頼し、業者の言い値を払う方法になることを知りました。
この場合、'アップルに修理に出す'ということは内部を総入れ替えするということなのです。
新しいMacを購入し、古いMacの対処は、後日に判断することにしました。
ほとんどのデータはi-cloudを通じて、新しいMacに移されていました。
電話で、アップルの技術者と相談すると、古いMacは延長した保険期間内だったので、比較的安い価格で修理が可能だとわかりました。
自宅までとりにきてもらう修理も可能でしたが、気分転換に外出するのは良いことだと思い、持ち込みの方法を選びました。
Submergence
I had to repair my Mac several times having submerging it in water.
(Actually, I put hot water on the Mac, but I learned that the Apple expresses it as 'submerged')
I submerged it in water, and my Mac contained the data of my exhibition this year.
In May, I consulted with an Apple technician on the phone, went to the Apple store, and was recommended that they see the Mac in person, after then I went to the Apple store in Omotesando.
That's when I found that if I sent it to Apple for repair, I would lose those data, and the only way to keep the data was to hire a special contractor and pay the dealer's asking price.
In this case, 'sending it to Apple for repair' means doing a total internal replacement.
I decided to buy a new Mac and decide what to do with the old Mac at a later date.
Most of the data had been transferred to the new Mac via i-cloud.
After talking to an Apple technician over the phone, I was told the old Mac was under extended warranty and could be repaired at a relatively low cost.
It was possible to have it repaired, sent from my home, but I thought it would be lovely to go out for a change of pace, so I chose the bring-in method.

2) 表参道 / Omotesando
A) アップルストアー / Apple Store
本日、表参道のアップルストアーに持ち込みで、Macを修理に出しました。
Today, I brought my Mac to the Apple store in Omotesando for repair.

It is refreshing. I thought it was a wonderful idea and looked at it. |
修理後は、鎌倉の自宅へ配送する手配にして、macを預けました。
After the repair, I arranged to have the mac delivered to my home in Kamakura.
B) 皮のかたち展
Handwork Leather Exhibition
アップルストアーの近くには、Galerie412があります。
Galerie412へ行ってChizukaさんにお会いしていこうかと、寄りました。
Chizukaさんには最初、在廊していませんでしたが、バイトの
ギャラリーでは、"皮のかたち/ Handwork Leather" 展が開催中でした。
3人の方の作品群で、それぞれが、デザインもし、制作もしているようでした。
たくさんのバックがギャラリーの壁面いっぱいに吊るされていました。
日頃、私は、バックや服飾、靴などのショッピングをしないので、
物珍しさもあって、楽しみました。
バックを見ている最中に、Chizukaさんが戻られてきて、お話も少しできました。
今回の展覧会では、ギャラリー内の撮影は許されていませんでした。
その後、"スパイラル/ spiral" により、雑貨を見て帰りました。

Handwork Leather Exhibition
Galerie412 is near the Apple store.
I decided to go to Galerie412 and see Chizuka San.
At first, Chizuka-san wasn't in the gallery, but I was able to meet
At the gallery, the exhibition "Handwork Leather" was being held.
It was a group of works by three people, and each of them seemed to be designing and producing.
Many bags were hung all over the walls of the gallery.
I don't usually shop for bags, clothes, shoes, etc., so I enjoyed here because it was a novelty.
While I was looking at bags, Chizuka San came back and we had
a little chat.
In this exhibition, photography was not allowed inside the gallery.
After that, I went to see miscellaneous goods in the "spiral gallery"
and returned home.
