この看板は映画 : "かもめ食堂" [2006 / 監督 : 荻上直子 (オギナミナオコ/1972 - )] 原作 [2006 / 群ようこ (1954 -) / 幻冬舎]でもネットでも目にしていました。 なので、かなりの距離からでも店の場所はわかりました。

I saw this signboard in a film, "Kamome Shokudō" [2006 / Director : Naoko Ogigami (1972 - ) ] and Internet. So I found the restaurant from quite far away. |

かもめ食堂
お店はレストラン部分とカフェ部分に別れています。
映画撮影当時もここは(カフェ)レストランであったようですが、
現在は、"かもめ食堂 / RAVINTOLAKAMOME"という名の、 日本料理とフィンランド料理を融合させたレストランになっています。 ということを注文してみて思いました。 RAVINTOLA KAMOME There are two Kamomes now, one is the restaurant part and other part is a cafe. When they made the film at that time, here was a (cafe) restaurant, however, now, here is the restaurant, its name is "RAVINTOLA KAMOME" which offers a fusion of Japanese cooking and Finnish cooking. I feel like that after I had their dish. |

なるほど~~
かもめは、英語圏では、食いしん坊の代名詞に使用されます。 Kの文字をイラストのかもめがひっぱっていることに、 この写真を撮影して初めて気がつきました。

Kamome means seagull in Japanese. A seagull has become a synonym for a glutton in the English‐speaking world. The first time I realized that the Seagull in the illustration pulls a letter K, was when I photographed this. |

とにかく、ビール！
喉乾いた〜〜〜！ あてにしていたカフェで休憩がとれなかったので、 ここについた時にはぐったり気味で、 とにかく、ここで座れて一安心。
日本で１冊ガイドブックを 買ったのが写真の中にあるものです。

did not have rest times in the cafes we had expected to,
so
when we arrived here, we were tired, anyway we could sit down
and
felt instantly relieved.

| カフェ・ラテとシナモン・ロール "かもめ食堂" でシナモン・ロールが食べたかった(味見したかった)のですが、 レストランでは売っていず、食べられません。 ですが、お隣のカフェでは売っているので、私よりももっと欲していたRは わざわざカフェまで注文しに行き、自分でシナモン・ロールは運んできました。 カフェ・ラテはカフェの方に運んでいただいたように思います。 おかげで私もシナモン・ロールの味見ができました。 このシナモン・ロール、丁寧に作られているのが感じられ、バランスもよくて、 とても美味しかった！ Rはビールもラテも飲みました。 Cafe Latte and Cinnamon Roll I wanted to eat (or taste) a cinnamon roll in the "RAVINTOLA KAMOME", although they do not offer them in the restaurant, so we could not eat. However, their cafe next-door does, so R, who wanted eat it more than me, went there, bought one and brought it here himself. I think a cup of cafe latte was carried by the cafe assistant. Then I could taste their cinnamon roll, thank you to him. I felt they made this carefully, the balance was good and very delicious. R had a glass of beer and the cup of cafe latte, too.  ロンドンのシナモン・ロール (シナモン・バーンズ) 私は2010年にロンドンの "ノルディック・ベーカリー / Nordic Bakery" に行き、 シナモン・ロール (バンズ) を買いました。 そのシナモン・ロールは個性が強く、印象も強かったので、 ぜひとも、"かもめ食堂" のものも食べて見たかったのです。 "Nordic Bakery"訪問については下記 ❷Central London(17th.Jun.2010)-Nordic Bakery Cinnamon Roll (buns) in London I visited the "Nordic Cafe" in London, 2010 and bought this. | タコサラダ これを食べた時に、あ〜、これは和食と北欧料理を 上手にミックスしているのだな〜と感じました。 私が日本人の味覚だからなのか、ヘルシンキで私がした外食と 食べたデリカテッセンのものの中で、これが一番美味しかったです。 (人によって味覚はかなり違うので期待して行かないでくださいね） プレートの空きは、なんのためなのかわかりません。 美的なスペースとも思えません。 盛り付けも美しいとは私には思えませんでした。 もしかしたらフィンランド料理ではこの空きの場所に 通常何かのるのかもしれません。 カレーにご飯的な組み合わせの何かが....? ウエイトレスさんが日本人で親切だったので、 聞けばよかったと今になって思います。 Octopus Salad After I ate this, I felt Oh! Yes! this was a successful blend of Japanese with Scandinavia (Finnish). The reason might be my sense of taste is as a Japanese, I feel this meal was the most delicious food I had eaten food outside or from delicatessen in Helsinki. (The sense of taste is very different for different people, so please do not expect too much if you go there) I do not understand what is the empty on the plate for. I do not feel it is for beauty. The dish presentation is not beautiful for me. Maybe a typical Finnish meal should be with something for this space, like a curry with boiled rice... The waitress, a Japanese was kindly so I should have asked her about this. |

| 私達が来てから、だんだん、お店が混んできました。 地元の方と観光客とが入り混じっています。 ウエイトレスさんによると、私達がくるちょっと前は 非常に混雑していたとのことでした。 After we arrived there, the restaurant gradually became crowded. They were a mixture of local people and tourists. The waitress said there had been very crowded just before us. |

| ほうじ茶もコーヒーも無料 コーヒーが無料なので、びっくり！ Free drink ; Hōjicha and Coffee I was surprised by free coffee! |

| お土産品もおしゃれ でも何も買いませんでした。 店内も食器などもおしゃれ、ウエイトレスさんも親切、 食事も美味しい、トイレも綺麗。 ですが、カフェ部分とレストランを切り離す必要性がオーナー側にはあっても お客側にはない点が大きなマイナス要素に感じられました。 ちなみにオーナーさんは、フィンランドに20年住まわれる日本人男性で 2015年にこのレストランを買い取ったそうです。(公式サイトより） 公式サイトに日本語、フィンランド語がないのが不思議に思います。 誰をターゲットにしたいのでしょう？ Souvenirs are stylish, too. But we did not buy any. The interior of the restaurant and the tableware are stylish, the waitress was kind, the food was good and the toilet was clean. However, it is big minus point that the cafe and the restaurant parts are separated and I felt it was a necessity for the owner although it is unhelpful for customers. By the way the owner is a Japanese man who has lived in Finland for over 20 years and took over here in 2015. (by their site) I wonder why their website does not have Japanese or Finnish language. Whom would he want to target? |
