'読んでいない本の山' に挑んでいる？私に、鎌倉図書館から予約の本が用意できたとのメールが届きました。
予約した覚えがないほど前に予約した本でした。
100人以上? 待ったのかもしれません。
図書館の本の他に、市役所への用事や、買いたいものもあったので、鎌倉駅周辺に出かけることのしました。
夫Rがベルグドフェルド長谷店でパンを買いたいというので、彼も一緒に出かけ、バスを長谷観音バス停で下車しました。
今日は、雨が降った後の晴れの日で、散策にはぴったりでした。
長谷のバス通りにあったお店がいくつか閉まり、鎌倉の行末を勝手に心配していましたが、知らない間に、その後に新しいお店ができていて、ホッとしました。

| Uni Coffee Roastery '鎌倉ジェラード' の後にできたのは、Uni Coffee Roastery。 1月23日にオープンしたばかりです。 ジェラードは店内で販売されているようです。 ここは2号店で1号店は横浜にあるようです。 GRACEという多角経営の会社が出しているお店です。 私は写真を撮っただけで、店内には入っていません。 Uni Coffee Roastery After 'Kamakura Gelato', here is now 'Uni Coffee Roastery'. It just opened on 23rd of January. Gelato seems to be sold in the shop. Here is the second 'Uni Coffee Roastery', the first one was in Yokohama. This shop is run by a diversified company called GRACE. I just took a picture but didn't visit the shop. |
Hase
I received an e-mail from the Kamakura Library that they had readied a book for me, who was challenging (?) my "mountain of unread books".
It was a book I requested a long time ago as I don't remember making a reservation.
I may have waited for more than 100 people?
In addition to the library book, I had some errands for the city government and I wanted to buy some things, so I decided to go around Kamakura Station.
My husband R wanted to buy bread in the 'Bergfeld' Hase Branch, so he came out with me, getting off the bus at the Hase Kannon bus stop.
Today was a sunny day after it rained and was perfect for a walk.
Some of the shops on Hase's bus street have closed, and I was worried about Kamakura's future, though while I didn't know new shops have since opened.

It is near the Hasekannon intersection. Cacao Hanare is a chain shop of MAISON CACAO with more than 10 shops. I feel that small private shops are having a difficult time to keep going. |

| ベルグドフェルド長谷店 バス通り側の方面には入り口はありません。 入り口は正面左の道にあります。 Bergfeld Hase Branch There is no entrance on the bus street. The entrance is on the road on the left side of the front.  ここが入り口です。 今日は自宅用と友人様にパンやビスケットを購入しました。 二階堂でご近所だったKiさんがパートタイムで 金曜日に働いています。 金曜日だったので、彼女に会うことができました。 Here is the Entrance. Today we bought bread and biscuits for us and our friends. Ki San, who was a neighbour in Nikaido, works part-time on Friday. We were able to meet her because it was Friday. |
2) 散歩 / Take a Walk
ベルグドフェルドから鎌倉図書館へバス通りは用いず、住宅街の小道を使用して歩きました。
いつもは長谷から鎌倉駅方面へはバス通りを使いますが、今日は散策重視で、違う道を選びました。

Take a Walk
We walked from Bergfeld to Kamakura Library using sideroads in a residential area instead of using the bus street.
We usually use the bus street from Hase toward Kamakura station, but today we chose a different route because we focused on walking.

| 日本のコケシ(木牌子、木形子、木芥子、木削子、小芥子)と ロシアのマトリョーシカ(人形)のお店です。 This is a shop of Japanese Kokeshi and Russian Matryoshka dolls. |

| ルーツ マトリョーシカのルーツにはいくつか説があります。 その1つが "19世紀末、神奈川県箱根町にあったロシア正教会の避暑館に やってきたロシア人修道士が、本国への土産に持ち帰った 箱根細工の七福神の入れ子人形が マトリョーシカの元になったという説" です。(Wikiより) そしてこのお店はそれを信じている様です。 Root There are some views about the roots of matryoshka dolls. One of them, according to Japanese Wiki, "In the end of the 19th century, a Russian monk returned home with a nest of the Seven Lucky Gods dolls made in Hakone zaiku style, which became the origin of Matryoshka dolls." | 吉屋信子記念館 吉屋信子記念館 : ★ は閉まっていました。 鎌倉市が運営していて一般公開日が決まっています。 私達は、2016年6月2日に入館しています。 Yoshiya Nobuko Memorial Museum Yoshiya Nobuko Memorial Museum (★) was closed. It is managed by Kamakura City and has public open days. We visited on June 2, 2016. 吉屋信子記念館については下記。 About the Memorial Museum, below, 2016年6月2日 ❹鎌倉散策 - 吉屋信子記念館 / Yoshiya Nobuko 家屋は吉屋信子が66歳のときに 「奈良にある尼寺のように」 と希望して吉田 五十八 (ヨシダ イソヤ / 1894 -1974)が 改造しました。 庭の家も素敵でした。 When Yoshiya was 66 years old, she asked Isoya Yoshida (1894 - 1974) to remodel her house saying 'I hope my house would be like a nunnery in Nara'. Both the house and the garden are lovely. |

3) 笹目町 / Sasamemachi
笹目町1~12まである様です。
Sasamemachi
I found out that Sasamemachi, an area of Kamakura City, Kanagawa Prefecture
is still an Oaza : 大字.
Oaza means a small village or town without sub-divisions ; Choume : 丁目 or ban：番.
Nowadays Oaza refers to the naming system, dating from the feudal government (Edo Period), of the names of villages or towns that were left unchanged at the time of the merger of cities, towns and villages (the great merger of the Meiji era) that took place when the municipal system was enforced in 1889 (Meiji 22).
It seems that there are 'Sasamemachi 1~ 12'.

途中で道が合っているのか不安になり、路地で女性に聞き、道を確認して、鎌倉図書館へ向かいました。
We were sure of our way, so I asked a woman in the alley, checked our route, and headed on to Kamakura Library.
4) 佐助 / Sasuke
佐助も大字ですが、現在では、佐助一丁目と佐助二丁目表示になっています。
この表示ですと、住人も大字の地域に住んでいることは知らないかもしれませんね。
Sasuke
Sasuke is also an Oaza, but now it is displayed as Sasuke 1-chome and Sasuke 2-chome.
With the name of this address, you may not know that the residents also live in an Oaza.

日本演奏家コンクール 事務局 と クリオピアノ音楽院 音楽学校が鎌倉にあるとは知らなかった！と思い撮影しました。 のちに、学校ではなくて、個人のピアノ教室で あるとわかりました。 日本演奏家コンクールの 事務局が同じ敷地にある様です。 私は日本演奏家コンクールがどんなない様なのか知りません。 Japan Player's Competition Office and Clio Piano Conservatory I didn't know there was a music school in Kamakura! and I photographed. Later, I found out that it is a private piano class, not a school. It seems that the Office of the Japan Player's Competition is on the same site. I don't know what the Japan Player's Competition looks like.  大きな看板です。 とってもわかりやすけれど、センス的にはいかがなものでしょう？ It's a big sign. It's very easy to understand, but how about it from the aspect of taste? |

| フクロウ 事務局の門柱の上にはフクロウが 音楽院の方には馬車に乗る アポロ(アポローン)の彫像 (下の画像) があります。 アポロは、詩歌や音楽などの芸能・芸術の神だからでしょうけれど フクロウはどうしてあるのかわかりません。 Owl Above the gatepost of the Office is a statue of an owl and atop the other gatepost is a horse-drawn carriage of Apollo, below. 到着！ / Arrived!

| 本の回収車？ 鎌倉駅や大船駅には、本の返却ポストが設置されています。 それらの本の回収車と考えます。 でも最初は移動図書館の車かと思いました。 Book Collection Car? Book return posts are installed at Kamakura Station and Ofuna Station. Think of this as a collection car for those books. But at first I thought it was a mobile library.  図書館には何度もきていますが違う方面から来るので、 今までこの車に気が付きませんでした。 I've been to the library many times, but I haven't noticed this car until now, because I come from a different direction. |
私が本を返却、1冊の予約本をピックアップする間、Rは外で待っていました。
図書館のあとは、市役所で用事を済ましました。
その時も彼は、日当たりの良いベンチで待っていました。
市役所は年度末のせいか、結構混んでいたので、彼が外で待っていたのは正解でした。
その後私達は買い物に向かいました。
買い物については次のセクションです。
R was waiting outside while I returned a book and picked up one reserved book.
After the library, I finished our business at the city government office.
He was waiting on a sunny bench at that time.
The city hall was quite crowded, probably because of the fiscal year end, so it was correct that he was waiting outside.
Then we went shopping.
The next section is about shopping.
