| このセクションは、主に由比ヶ浜から鎌倉駅までの 散策についてです。 This section is mainly about walking from Yuigahama Beach to Kamakura Station. |
2) 若宮大路 / Wakamiya Ōji Street
鶴岡八幡宮方面へ歩きました。
'一の鳥居' 、'二の鳥居'、'三の鳥居' があります。
'一の鳥居' からの参道でしたが、横須賀線の建設により、'一の鳥居' から '二の鳥居'の間が撤去されました。
鶴岡八幡宮のような大きな神社の参道でも近代化の波によって潰されてしまうのですね〜。
それでも神様は人間を許してくれ、今も皆の願いを受けてくれます。
(叶えるのかは別ですが）
'二の鳥居'、'三の鳥居' の間には、車道より一段高い参道の段葛 (ダンカズラ) があり、観光スポットでもあります。
通常の私の生活で、'一の鳥居' を間近で見る機会はほとんどありません。
今日は、珍しく由比ヶ浜から若宮大路を歩いてきたので、'一の鳥居' を近くで見ました。
'一の鳥居' を最後に見たのがいつだったのか思い出せません。

| 一の鳥居 一の鳥居 から二の鳥居の参道は、なくなってしまいましたが、 一の鳥居の周囲は保存されています。 若宮大路は、2車線、両側歩道になっています。 First Gate : Ichi-no-Torii The approach from the First Gate to the Second Gate has disappeared, though the area around the First Gate has been preserved. Wakamiya Ōji Street has two lanes and pavements on both sides. |
Wakamiya Ōji Street
From Yuigahama Beach., we went out to National Route 134, entered Wakamiya Ōji Street from the Namerigawa intersection, and walked toward Tsurugaoka Hachimangū Shrine.
Wakamiya Ōji Street was originally the approach to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, and from the Yuigahama side, there are First Gate : 'Ichi-no-Torii', Second Gate : 'Ni-no-Torii', and Third Gate : 'San-no-Torii'.
The approach used to be from First Gate, however, due to the construction of the Yokosuka Line, the area between First Gate and Second Gate was removed.
Even the approach to the large shrine, Tsurugaoka Hachimangū Shrine is crushed by the waves of modernization.
Still, God forgives humans and still accepts everyone's wishes.
(I don't know if God will make our wish come true)
Between Second Gate and Third Gate, there is Dankazura on the approach, which is one step higher than the road, and it is also
a tourist spot.
In my normal life, I do not usually see First Gate up close.
Today, unusually, we walked along Wakamiya Ōji Street from Yuigahama, so I saw the First Gate up close.
I can't remember the last time I saw the First Gate.

Leaving Wakamiya Ōji Street
若宮大路を利用して鎌倉駅に向かえば、迷うことはありません。
ですが、私達は、'一の鳥居' 手前で路地に入りました。
時間が迫っていなければ、その迷路を楽しむことができます。
今日はのんびり、バースディウォークなので、鎌倉駅まで迷路を楽しむことにしました。

Leaving Wakamiya Ōji Street
If you take Wakamiya Ōji Street to Kamakura Station, you won't get lost.
However, we entered an alley just before First Gate : 'Ichi-no-Torii'.
The residential areas around Enoden・Yuigahama and Wadazuka Station are complicated alleys and they feel like a maze to me.
If time isn't running out, I can enjoy the maze.
Today was a leisurely Birthday Walk, so we decided to enjoy the maze to Kamakura Station.
B. 高い壁 / High Walls

| 高い壁 この路地は何回も通っています。 壁が高く中を見ることはできず、 広い庭で洋館と想像していました。 持ち主も不明でした。 海に近い家は比較的開放的な作りをしていますが、 はかなり用心深い有り様でした。 High Wall We have used this alley many times. The walls are so high that I couldn't see inside, so I imagined it as a Western-style building in a large garden. The owner was also unknown. The houses near the sea are relatively open, but here is quite cautious. |
今日は壁の向こうから、庭師さんらしき方々の声が聞こえていました。
通ったのは午後3時頃だったので、お茶の時間。
帰宅後調べると、ロシア大使館 鎌倉別荘だとわかりました。
そうでしたか〜！...色々不思議に思っていたことが判明してゆくような気がします。
上の木々の写真も大使館の敷地です。
以前も調べれば、すぐにわかったでしょうけれど、放置していました。
今日は人の声があったので、調べる動機になったのかもしれません。
High Walls
Today, I could hear the voices of people who seemed to be gardeners from the other side of the wall.
We walked past there around 3 pm, so it was tea time.
After returning home, I found out that it was the Kamakura villa of the Russian Embassy.
I see! ... I feel like it's becoming clear that I was wondering in various ways.
The photograoh of the trees above is also the site of the Embassy.
If I had looked it up before, I could have known it right away, but I had left it.
There were people's voices today, which may have motivated me to investigate.
C. 江ノ電を渡る / Cross the Enoden

| 秋の花、アメジスト・セージ 秋の花、アメジスト・セージ (サルビア・レウカンサ)が 咲き誇っていました。 そんなに珍しい花ではないと思いますが、あまり見かけません。 実際、鎌倉ではここで、初めて見たと言いましょうか、 気がついたと言いましょうか...。 Autumn Flower, Amethyst Sage Autumn Flower, Amethyst Sage (Salvia Leucantha) were in full bloom. I don't think it's such a rare flower, but I don't see it very often. Actually, in Kamakura, let's say that I saw it for the first time or that I first noticed it ... |

| 随分前からここに何かがあるのは知っています。 カフェなのか、レストランなのか、レンタルスペースなのか、 それら全部なのか？ 看板と看板周りの雰囲気が好きです。 ですが、未だに中へ入って行く勇気 (?) がありません。 I knew there's something here for quite some time. Is it a cafe, a restaurant, a rental space, or all of them? I like the signboard and the atmosphere around it. However, I still don't have the courage (?) to go inside.  |

| 鎌倉らしい玄関です。 安全面を考慮しつつも解放感を保っています。 情緒を保つには安全な社会が必要です。 It is a Kamakura-like entrance. It keeps a feeling of release while considering safety. To keep good emotions, we need a safe society.  ドアにかけられた花瓶 このアイディアが素敵です。 Vase on Door This idea is lovely.  数寄屋門のワビサビ版？ Wabi-sabi version of Sukiya-mon Gate? According to Wiki about Sukiya-zukuri, "Suki means refined, well cultivated taste and delight in elegant pursuits and refers to enjoyment of the exquisitely performed tea ceremony." |
4) 由比ヶ浜通り / Yuigahama Street
路地から'由比ヶ浜通り'に出ました。
'由比ヶ浜通り' は、バス通りです。
大仏行き、長谷寺行きのバスもこの通りを走ります。
私達が通常利用するバスもこの通りを走ります。

Yuigahama Street
We joined 'Yuigahama Street' from the alley.
'Yuigahama Street' is a bus street.
Buses bound for the Great Buddha and Hase temple run on this street.
The buses we normally use also run on this street.

| バー・ザ・バンク 旧 鎌倉銀行由比ガ浜出張所 →横浜興信銀行由比ガ浜出張所 銀行は横浜銀行になりましたが、このビルは ワンダーウォールの所有になっており、 バー・THE BANKもワンダーウォールによって 経営されています。 私は随分前に2回ほど行ったことがあります。 良い雰囲気でした。 なかなか夜の鎌倉を経験することがなく、 ここへも久しく行っていません。 Bar THE BANK Former Kamakura Bank Yuigahama Branch Office → Yokohama Koshin Bank Yuigahama Branch Office The bank became the Bank of Yokohama, but this building is owned by 'Wonderwall', and 'Bar THE BANK' is also run by' Wonderwall'. I've been there twice a long time ago. It was a good atmosphere.  六地蔵 六地蔵 (ロクジゾウ) 周辺は、数え切れないほど歩いています。 通常使用するバスのルートにも六地蔵バス停があり、 鎌倉図書館へ行く時は利用します。 六地蔵近くに鎌倉時代 (12世紀末 ~ 1333) の刑場があり、 罪人の霊を弔うために祀ったのが六地蔵の始まりです。 後にこの場所へ移されました。 Roku-jizo (Roku-jizo means 6 Jizo : 6 Kṣitigarbha) We have walked countless times around Roku-jizo. There is also a Roku-jizo bus stop on our bus route, which I use when I go to the Kamakura Library. The beginning of Roku-jizo was that there was an execution ground near Roku-jizo, Roku-jizo was enshrined to mourn the spirits of sinners. Roku-jizo was later moved to this place. |
 歩きつつ撮影していて、きちんと6体を写真に おさめられませんでした。 ごめんなさい。 お地蔵様までマスク、しかも赤いマスクをしています。 日本では、地蔵菩薩の像を6体並べて祀った六地蔵像が 各地にあります。 これは、仏教の六道輪廻の思想 （全ての生命は6種の世界に生まれ変わりを繰り返すとする）に 基づき、六道のそれぞれを6種の地蔵が救うとする説から 生まれたそうです。 I was photographing while walking, and I couldn't capture the 6 bodies properly. Sorry. Even Jizos wear masks and also red masks. In Japan, there are 6 Jizo statues enshrining 6 Kṣitigarbha statues side by side. It is said that this came from being based on the Buddhist idea of 6 cyclicality of all life, matter, existence" and 6 kinds of Jizo will save each of the 6 stages.  後ろから 道路は由比ヶ浜通りです。 六地蔵は由比ヶ浜通りと今小路通りの角にあります。 From Back The road is Yuigahama Street. | "緑屋・凛" "緑屋・凛"は苔玉、ミニ盆栽のお店です。 私がもしもマンション住まいだったら、 苔玉、ミニ盆栽を買うかもしれません。 "Midoriya Rin" "Midoriya Rin" is a moss ball and mini bonsai shop. 古い石標 水路 (川？) のそばにある古い石標に目が止まりました。 なんの石標かと周囲を注意してみる裁許橋 (サイキョバシ)についてのものでした。 昔は今小路通りは、壽福寺から裁許橋までであったようです。 Old Stone Markers Old Stone Markers by a waterway (river?) caught my eye. I wondered what they are for and I looked at the surroundings carefully, and then I found that they are about Saikyo Bridge. In the old days, it seems that Imakoji Street was from Jufukuj Temple to Saikyo Bridge. |

The name of Saikyo Bridge : Acquittal Bridge is said to be derived from the fact that there were courts and inquiry offices near here in the Kamakura Period. Another name is Saigyou Bridge. It is one of Kamakura's Ten Bridges : 'Kamakura Jikkyo'. |

佐助川 鎌倉の複数の川が暗渠 (アンキョ)になっています。 この佐助川も所々で暗渠になっています。 Sasuke River Multiple rivers in Kamakura are culverts. This Sasuke River is also a culvert in some places.  滑川に合流し、由比ヶ浜へ注がれて行きます。 この日、私達は由比ヶ浜からここまで歩いてきました。 It joins the Namerigawa River and flows into Yuigahama. On this day, we walked from Yuigahama to here. |

It's a general shop and the shop is nothing special. However, we have been shopping here several times since we started living in Kamakura. We really like our purchases. The broom we bought a long time ago is old, so we had made a reservation here. We came to pick it up today. |

| ここにも萩！ 極楽寺の成就院 (ジョウジュイン) : ★の萩 (ハギ)を思い出します。 成就院を訪れたことは同じ日なのに、 随分前のことのように感じます。 Hagi Here Too! I remember Hagi : Japanese Clovers : Lespedeza by Jojuin Temple in Gokurakuji. Even though we visited Jojuin Temple earlier today, it felt like a long time ago. 成就院については下記。/ About Jojuin Temple, below. |

| 逗子方面 七里ヶ浜住宅街、相模湾を見つつ、 今日の散策を思い巡らしました。 あの小山を横切って極楽寺方面へ行ったのだと.... Towards Zushi While looking at the Shichirigahama residential area, Sagami Bay, I pondered today's walk. We had crossed that small mountain and went to Gokurakuji ...  今日の 'バースディ・ウォーク' は、思い出に残る 散策になるように思います。 楽しい日でした。 R, ありがとう！そしてお誕生日おめでとう！ I think today's 'Birthday Walk' will be a memorable walk.
