またコリブ湖とマスク湖と周囲の川が地下で繋がっています。
Cong
Cong, County Mayo, is located at the border with County Galway.
Cong is surrounded by rivers, so people inevitably go in and out across bridges.

私達が行ったときも10分ほど待ったと思います。
"HungryMonks" is a popular cafe in front of the Abbey ruins.
I
think that we waited for about 10 minutes for our table.

私は撮影したのみで訪ねてはいません。

主人公のカップルが住んだ家として使用されたコテージを模した博物館です。
映画が撮影された当時、そのコテージは、築100年は少なくともたっていました。
室内の撮影はアメリカで行われたとのことなので、家の外側だけが使用されたのですね。
長年、ここの所有権が法的に争われ、その間にコテージは修復作業ができず、
見る影もなく荒れ果てました。→★(英語版ですが、写真を見ることができます）
ようやく、2016年に法的決着がつき、復元が行われました。
そのコテージは、R336沿いにあるようですが、私は見ていません。
It is the Museum, imitating of the cottage used as the house where the hero's couple lived.
At
the time the film was filmed, the cottage was already at least 100 years old.
It
was said that indoor shooting was done in the US, so only the outside
of the house was used.
For
many years the ownership of this place had been legally contested,
during which the cottage could not be repaired.
At
last, the legal settlement came in 2016 and restoration was done.
The cottage is on R336, although we haven't seen it.

7世紀はじめに、教会が建てられ、その後、修道院として建てられました。
火災や破壊と、再建築が繰り返され、16世紀に廃墟になりました。
修道院の最初の修復は、ベンジャミン・ギネス/ Benjamin Guinness (1798 -1868) が1852年に近くのアシュフォード城を購入した直後の、1855年に始められました。
ベンジャミン・ギネスは、ギネスの創業者であるアーサー・ギネス（1725 - 1803）の孫です。
現在、アシュフォード城はホテルになっています。
次のセクションでアシュフォード城のことは載せます。
Cong Abbey is a ruin.
In the beginning of the 7th century, a church was built and later built as an Abbey.
Fire and destruction and rebuilding were repeated, and it became ruined in the 16th century.
Restoration of the Abbey was started by Benjamin Guinness (1798 -1868) in 1855, soon after he had bought nearby Ashford Castle in 1852.
Benjamin Guinness is the grandson of Arthur Guinness (1725 - 1803), the founder of Guinness.
One of tourist spots in Cong is a five star hotel, Ashford Castle.
Ashford Castle will be the next section.

kmに位置しています。
国定史跡になっているので、柵で囲まれています。
Glebe
Stone Circle is located about 1.6 km east-northeast of Cong.
Here is one of the National
Monuments,
so it is surrounded by fences.

| 羊が放牧されている野原を歩いてたどり着く位置にあります。 そして柵があるので、そばには寄れません。 なので、道から撮影するだけにしました。 
The Circle is in a field where sheep are grazing.
And it has fences, so we can not be close to the Circle.
So I just photographed from the road.

そのカップルも道から見ただけにしていました。
There were other couples who seemed to want to see the Circle
and they just looked at them from the road, too.
