1) 散策 / Take a Walk 
私と夫Rは、江ノ電七里ヶ浜駅から鎌倉駅まで、予定外にやって来ました。

ランチの場所を探しつつ、鎌倉駅西口界隈を散策しました。

ランチについては下記。
キャットテール
路地脇ですが、どなたかの花壇です。
ブラシの木の花に似ています。
何かしら？と思い撮影しました。
帰宅後調べてみると、
'キャットテール' (トウダイグサ科)
という植物でした。
かわいい名前です。
花を見ると名前の由来はすぐにわかりますね。

Cattail
It's on the side of the alley, but it's someone's flowerbed.
It resembles a flower of a brush tree.
What is it? I took a picture.
After returning home, I looked it up and found that
 it is called 'Cattail' (Euphorbiaceae Family)
It's a cute name.
You can easily tell the origin of the name by looking at the flowers.
Take a Walk 
I and my husband R went unexpectedly to Kamakura Station from Enoden Shichirigahama Station.

While looking for a place for our lunch, we took a walk around the west exit of Kamakura Station.

2) 利々庵 / Lilian
利々庵 (リリアン) ができた当時は、時々パンを買っていました。

いつの間にか、足が遠のき、ここ数年利々庵のパンを買っていません。

今日は、偶然にお店の前を通ったので買ってみようかと思いましたが、Rが欲しがらなかったので買いませんでした。

パンは主にRが食べるので、彼がいらないのなら、購入できません。

鎌倉利々庵
正式名には、'鎌倉' がつくことを初めて知りました。

I noticed for the first time that their official name is with 'Kamakura',

When Lilian was established, we used to buy bread here from time to time.

Before I knew it, we hadn't been able to buy bread from 'Lilian' for the past few years.

Today, we happened to pass in front of the bakery, so I thought we would buy it, but R
wouldn't buy, so we didn't buy any.

Bread is mainly eaten by R, so if he doesn't need, I can't buy it.




3) 御成通り / Onari Street
A. 新しいホテル / New Hotel
今日、2番目に驚いたことは、御成通りに新しいホテル: 'トーセイホテル ココネ鎌'ができていたことです。
(最も驚いたことは次のセクションに載せます）

まだオープンはされていませんが予約は開始されています。

私達が泊まることはないけれど、立地が良いし、価格も抑えめなので人気のホテルになるのではないかと思います。

トーセイホテル ココネのチェーンホテルです。
鎌倉らしい雰囲気がある建物です。
ビジネスホテルですね。

Tosei Hotel Cocone Kama : ★
Tosei Hotel Cocone is a chain hotel.
It is a building with a Kamakura-like atmosphere.
This is a business hotel.
New Hotel
The second thing that surprised me today was the opening of a new hotel on Onari Street :'Tosei Hotel Cocone Kama'.
(The most surprising thing is in the next section.)

It's not open yet, but reservations have started.

We don't stay there, but the location is good and the price is low, so I think it will be a popular hotel.


B. キビヤ ベーカリー / Kibiya Bakery
 キビヤ ベーカリーへ行くのもパンを買うのも久しぶりでした。

It's been a while since we went to Kibiya Bakery and bought bread.

数年前には時々2階のレストランへ行きました。
その後レストランは閉じられてしまいました。
今は、"湘南ワインセラー"がワインバー: 
'WINE BAR Spirit' を出しているようです。
でも緊急宣言発令中で、このバーは当分お休みのようでした。

First Floor
A few years ago we sometimes went to the restaurant 
on the first floor.
After that the restaurant was closed.
Now, it seems that "Shonan Wine Cellar" 
manages 'WINE BAR Spirit'.
But with the State of Emergency being issued,
 this bar seems to be closed for the time being.



店内
久しぶりに見る店内。
良い雰囲気なのは変わりません。
パンも美味しそう....。

Inside
The inside that I had't seen in a long time.
The good atmosphere remains the same.
The bread looks delicious too ....

家にパンが結構あるので、たくさん買いそうになる気持ちを抑え、
厳選して少しだけ買いました。


We have a lot of bread in our house, so I restrained my feeling for buying a lot, so we carefully selected and bought a little.

オープンしたてです。
このお店については次のセクションに載せます。

4) 鎌倉山 / Kamakurayama
バスで鎌倉山に帰ってきました。

We came back to Kamakurayama by bus.
三浦半島と相模湾、七里ヶ浜住宅街を見る

鎌倉山交番の庭
紫の花が咲いているところを初めてみました。
小さな庭ですが好きで機会があると撮影しています。

Kamakurayama Police Box Garden
I saw the purple flowers in bloom for the first time.
It's a small garden, but I like it and take pictures 
when I have the opportunity.
メダカ
現在のおまわりさんの趣味なのか、
交番のポリシーなのかわかりませんが、メダカも飼われています。
ここは交番でなく駐在所なのでないかと、
初めて思い当たりました。
おまわりさんは、ご家族と一緒に2階に住んでいらっしゃいます。

Medaka : Oryzias
I don't know if it's a current hobby of the policeman or
 the policy of the Kamakurayama police,
but Medaka : Oryzias have been kept, as well as the garden.
For the first time, I thought that this was not a police box 
but a police substation.
The policeman lives on the first floor with his family.

私と夫Rは、今日は、珍しいことに、江ノ電で鎌倉駅へ来ました。

なので、西口に出ました。

ランチタイムでした。

コロナ禍の世の中になる前でさえ外食の機会が少なかったのに、コロナ禍となってはさらに機会は減り、外食は年に一、二度です。

最初から外でランチを計画していたなら、リサーチをしていました。

が、予定外に鎌倉駅まで出てくることになったので、私はランチ先の候補をあげていませんでした。

今日は火曜日なので、かなりの鎌倉の店は定休日ではあります。

あまり期待はしないようにと自分に言い聞かせて、駅から歩き出しました。



No Plan
Today, I and my husband R went to Kamakura station by Enoden, which was unusual.

So we went to the West Exit.

It was lunch time.

Even before the world of coronavirus crisis, there were few opportunities to eat out, but with coronavirus crisis, our opportunities are even less, and eating out is once or twice a year.

If I was planning lunch outside from the beginning, I would do research.

However, I didn't have an idea for our lunch, because we went to Kamakura centre unexpectedly.

Today was Tuesday, so quite a few shops in Kamakura are closed.

I told myself not to expect too much and we started walking from the station.

 About today's walk, below.



2) 記憶を辿って / Follow My Memory
A. ラッテリア べべ カマクラ 
　 Latteria BeBè Kamakura
以前、鎌倉駅周辺でのランチ場所を調べたことがありました。

その時の記憶を辿って、西口の駅近くから訪ねてみることにしました。

最初に思い出したのが、'ラッテリア べべ カマクラ' です。

自家製チーズがあり、何かの賞を獲得していて、西口から徒歩3分ほどの場所にあります。

ピザがあるので、食の問題があるRでも少なくともマリゲリータ・
ピザは食べられるはず! と思いました。

お店は路地にあり、ちょっとわかりにくいのですが、その路地は数回利用したことがあったので迷わず行けました。

実は私はここに一番入りたかったのです。

ですが、Rと一緒の場合は、彼に選択権があります。

結局、彼には、お店が混んでいたように見えたので、見送り...ちょっと悲しい...。

もしかすると、室内でなく屋外の席に人が集中していたからかもしれません。

I once searched for lunch places around Kamakura Station.

Following my memory of that time, I decided to visit places near the station at the West Exit.

The first thing I remembered was 'Latteria Bebe's Kamakura'.

It has homemade cheese, has won some awards, and is about 
a 3-minute walk from the West Exit.

They have pizza, so I thought R should be able to eat at least Marigerita pizza even with his food problems.

The restaurant is in an alley and it's a little difficult to find, but I've used the alley several times so I could go without hesitation.

Actually, I wanted to use here the most.

But with R, he has his option.

After all, it seemed to him that the restaurant was crowded, so we put off entering there... a little sad ...

Perhaps it was because people were concentrated in the outdoor table instead of inside.



B. 世界の味 / World Taste
Wander Kitchen

シェフが多くの国を訪れ、多くの世界の料理を出してくれます。
日替わりで10種類以上の料理が黒板に提示されます。

A chef visited many countries and serves many world dishes.
More than 10 kinds of dishes are presented on the blackboard 
on a daily basis.

次は、路地裏にある 'Wander Kitchen' へ行きました。

ここは前から行ってみたいと思っていたお店です。

Rはすでに経験済み、ということは彼が食べられる食事を出してくれるはずです。

ランチは12時からで、私達が行ったのが11時45分。

店の前に女性スタッフが立っていて、
「席を確保しておきましょうか？」
と申し出てくれました。

もうここで決まり！と思った時に、ニンニクの匂いが店内からしてきました。

Rの色の問題にニンニクが食べられないことが含まれています。

例え、彼が食べられる料理を作ってくれるレストランでも空調に難があり、料理の匂いが客席にこもってしまうところは、彼は利用できません。

ここも泣く泣く、ここも立ち去りました。

でもこんなことはRと一緒の時はよくあるので、めげません！

World Taste
Next, we went to 'Wander Kitchen' in the back alley.

This is a restaurant I've always wanted to visit.

R has already experienced, which means they should serve a meal that he can eat.

Lunch starts at 12:00 and we went there at 11:45.

A woman staff was standing in front of the restaurant, she offered us,
"Shall I reserve your table?"

It was already decided here! when I thought, the smell of garlic came from inside.

R's food problems include inability to eat garlic.

Even in a restaurant where they manage his meal, he cannot use it where air conditioning is difficult and the smell of food is trapped in the room.

We left here too with my tears...

But this is often the case with R, so I didn't lose heart!





3) ようやく... / Finally...
A. 御成通り / Onari Street
路地から御成通りに戻ってきました。

御成通りは鎌倉駅西口から長谷小路までにあり、商店街になっています。

私達が鎌倉に住み始めた頃 (2018年) は、ここはまだ地元の人が使う
お店という印象でした。

けれども最近はここも観光名所の1つようになったようです。

ここの散策については、次のセクションに載せます。

御成通りに、ガレットのランチセットの看板を見つけました。

ガレットを扱うお店は、Rの食事を作りやすい傾向にあります。

店内に入ると1組のお客さんだけで、Rのために特別なことをしなくてもセットメニューの中に彼が食べられるものがありました。

ああ、ようやくランチです。

Onari Street
We came back from the alley to Onari Street.

Onari Street is located from the West Exit of Kamakura station to Hasekoji street, and is a shopping district.

When we started living in Kamakura (2018), I had the impression that here were still shops used by locals.

However, nowadays, it seems that this is also one of the tourist attractions.

I will post about walking here in the next section.

I found a signboard for Galette Lunch Sets on Onari Street.

Galette restaurants tend to make R meals more easily.

When we entered the restaurant, there was only one group, and there was something in the set menu that he could eat without doing anything special for R.

Oh, it was finally lunch.




B. ランチ / Lunch
私のランチ;  シェフのおまかせ
玉ねぎとソーセージが入っているサラダでした。
玉ねぎとソーセージは食べる機会が少ないので嬉しい。
ソース (ドレッシング) の味はあまり好みではありませんでした。
Rはシェフのおまかせを希望していましたが
彼の食べられない玉ねぎ(ソーセージも？)が入っていたので
通常セットの1つを選びました。

My Lunch ; Recommended by Chef
It was a salad with onions and sausages.
I was happy because I don't have many chances to eat 
onions and sausages.
I didn't really like the taste of the sauce (dressing).
R wanted to have the 'Recommended by Chef',
 it contained his inedible onions (also sausages?),
so he chose one of the regular sets.
アイスティ
お店でアイスティを注文したのは久しぶりです。

Iced Tea
It's been a while since I ordered iced tea outside.


Rのランチ ; ハム・チーズ
サンドイッチでもガレットでも、
ハム・チーズの具材の組み合わせの
選択が多くなります。
この組み合わせには、Rが避ける玉ねぎ、ニンニクなどが
入っていないことが多いからです。

R's Lunch ; Ham and Cheese
Whether it's a sandwich or a galette, 
he has more choices of ham and cheese ingredient combinations.
This combination often does not contain onions, garlic, etc.
 that R avoids.


C. 双子 / Twins 
私達が入るときは1組のお客さんだけでしたが、ランチを食べる時には満席でした。

満席といってもコロナ対策をしているので、実際の席数の4分の1です。

Rの他は全て女性客でした。

女性に人気があるお店なのだと感じました。

まあ、ケーキが売りのカフェですから女性客が多いのでしょう。

オーナーパティシエはフランスで修行された方だそうで、お兄様は
イタリアで修行され、東京にイタリアンレストラン・アンビグラムを持っています。

このご兄弟は双子だそうです。

兄弟の経歴は友人Mさんから聞いていましたが、すっかり忘れていました。

このお店に入ったのは、ガレットの看板を見たからでした。

ここは鎌倉の友人Mさんがケーキが美味しいと
言っていたところでした。
松屋銀座に支店を出しています。

This was where my friend M in Kamakura said 
the cake was delicious.
They have a branch office in Mtasuya Ginza Department.

Twins
There was only one group when we entered, but it was full when we had lunch.

Even though it was full, it was a quarter of the actual number of tables because they are taking measures against corona.

All but R were women customers.

I felt that it was a popular cafe for women.

Well, since cake is an appeal point in this cafe, so there are probably many women customers.

The owner pastry chef is said to have been trained in France, and his brother was trained in Italy and has an Italian restaurant' Ambigram' in Tokyo.

The brothers are twins.

I heard from my friend M about the careers of the brothers, but 
I completely forgot.

I entered this cafe because I saw the signboard for Galettes.




D. ケーキ / Cake
ショーケースは小さいけれど品数は多く揃っていました。

数自体は少ないです。

なんとなく、新鮮さにかけ、美味しそうに、私には見えませんでした。

下の写真にある通りオーソドックスなデザインのケーキです。

オーソドックスなデザインが悪いわけではなく、美的な感覚がちょっと足りないと私は感じます。

Rはそこそこ楽しんで食べましたが、また食べたいと思うほどではなかったという感想でした。

友人Mさんが食べた時は、お店が開業されてすぐで、その時と比べると現在は味が落ちているのかもしれません。

コロナの影響がなくなり、人々がもっと外出するようになったら、このお店のケーキも元の味に戻るのかもしれません。
Rはセットの飲み物はコーヒーを選び、
追加でケーキも注文しました。
セットへケーキを追加する場合はケーキの定価よりも
いくらか安くなります。
ケーキはショーケースから選びます。

R chose coffee as the drink in the set and 
ordered an additional cake.

than the list price of the cake.

The showcase was small, but there were many different items.

However, the number was small.

Somehow, for me it didn't seem fresh and delicious.

As you can see in the picture above, that is a cake with an orthodox design.

The orthodox design isn't bad, and I feel a little lacking in aesthetics.

R enjoyed eating so so, but his impression is that he didn't want to eat it again soon.

When my friend M ate it, it was just after the shop established, and the taste may now be lower than it was at that time.

When the influence of corona crisis disappears and people go out more, their cakes in this shop may return to their original taste.

フランスで修行したパティシエのケーキ屋さんというよりも
親しみある街のケーキ屋さんという印象です。
鎌倉でのお店はそれで良いように感じます。
地元に愛されることが大切！
