鉄道博物館
私と夫Rは、オランダ旅行の滞在先をユトレヒトにしていました。
この日は宿泊所から、鉄道博物館へ歩いて向かいました。
このセクションでは屋内の展示についてです。
Railway Museum
I and my husband R had the Netherlands trip and were staying in Utrecht.
On this day, we walked from our accommodation to the Museum.
This section is about display inside.

2) マリーバーン駅のホーム / Maliebaan Station Platform
In 1954 the Railway Museum was opened on the site of the former railway station,
駅舎を抜けたホームにいくつかの列車の展示があります。
パンフレットの地図では、マリーバーン駅のホーム :
Utrecht Maliebaan
として表示されています。
There are several train exhibits on the platform through the station building.
The map in the pamphlet shows the platform of Maliebaan Station as

NS1125
NS1125は電車シリーズ1100の1つ。
このシリーズは、フランスの機関車のシリーズに基づいています。
1951年から1987年まで製造されていました。
このNS1125は今でも運転できる状態にあります。
この日もシャトル電車としてユトレヒト中央駅から
たくさんの子供たち、人々を運んできました。
NS1125
NS1125 is one of Electric Locomotive series 1100.
This series is based on a series of French locomotives.
Manufactured from 1951 to 1987.
The NS1125 is still operational.
On this day, it carried many children and people from
Utrecht Central Station as a shuttle train.

のために製造されました。
NS 1326は、SS 326の状態に復元され、ここに保存されています。
日本はベイヤー・ピーコック社の蒸気機関車をたくさん輸入し、その機関車は
日本の鉄道の黎明期(レイメイキ)を支えました。
Nickname is Big Green.
(Company for the Exploitation of the State Railways) : SS.
Japan imported a lot of Beyer Peacock steam locomotives
supporting the early days of Japanese railways.

4) ティーン・エイジャー / Teenager
蒸気機関車HSM 89の撮影はしていませんでしたが、"3)のビッグ・グリーン"と勘違いして、リサーチしてしまいました。
なので、画像をWikiより借りました。
Although I did not photograph “HSM 89 steam locomotive”, I misunderstood it as "3) Big Green" and researched it.
So I borrowed the image from Wiki.

蒸気機関車HSM 89 'ネストール'
ネストールはギリシア神話の武将の一人です。
このシリーズ(1001~1029型)は、ギリシア神話の登場人物の
名前がそれぞれつけられています。
愛称は、"ティーン・エイジャー"。
Steam locomotive HSM 89 'Nestor'
Nestor is one of the Greek mythological warlords.
This series (types 1001-1029) is named after the character in Greek mythology.
Its nickname is "Teenager".

王室車両 -アンナ・パヴロヴナ
オリジナルは1864年にオランダで最初の
によって作られました。
展示の車両は、2010年に作られたレプリカです。
Royal carriage - Anna Paulowna
The original was made in 1864 by
HSM, the first private railway company in the Netherlands.
The vehicle on display is a replica made in 2010.
HSM was later merged with
オランダ王ウィレム2世 (1792 -1849 / 在位1840 - 1849)の王妃です。

2010年、博物館再開5周年に、オランダ女王、
ベアトリクス (1931 ~/ 在位1980 - 2013)
によって開催された特別展覧会；"王室列車 : Royal Class, Royal Railways"の展示の車両は、この車両なのかしら？と推測しますが、今もって本当のところはわかりません。
In 2010, on the 5th anniversary of the Museum's re-opening, a special exhibition of royal trains, called “Royal Class, Royal Railways”, opened by
the Dutch Queen, Beatrix (1931 ~ / reigned 1980 - 2013), I guess that this carriage was the main exhibit ?... I still don't know the truth.

列車「Mat '54」、第386号
Materieel '54（Mat '54）は、オランダ鉄道の電気鉄道車両で、
最初の注文が行われた年にちなんで名付けられました。
鼻の特徴的な形状のために、（公式ではありませんが）
しばしば犬の頭と呼ばれていました。

Materieel '54 (Mat '54) were electric railcars of the Dutch Railways,
named after the year in which the first order was placed.
Because of the distinctive shape of the nose,
they were (although not officially) often referred to as Dog Heads.

もう1つの犬の顔 / Another Dog's Head

黄色い電車も犬の顔っぽいな〜と感じました。
'Apekoppen': 猿の頭 、 'Hondekoppen': 犬の頭、または
'Standaard Stoptrein': 標準低速列車
などと呼ばれるようです。
あまり、愛されていないのでしょうか？
それとも愛されているが故の、親しみを込めたネーミングでしょうか？
プランV/ PlanV(1~13)は、V-IRMが登場するまで半世紀以上にわたってオランダの鉄道で運行されていました。
I felt the yellow train was like a dog face
It is nicknamed 'Apekoppen' : 'Monkey's Head', 'Hondekoppen' : 'Dog's Head'
and 'Standaard Stoptrein' : 'Standard slow train'.
Maybe it isn't loved so much? or is it a friendly naming because of being loved?
Plan V (1 - 13) had been operating on Dutch railways for more than
half a century before V-IRM appeared.

B. 青い天使 / Blue Angel
こちらは青い天使! / This is Blue Angel!

特別な青い色と頭の上の翼のある装飾のため、
ディーゼル列車のシリーズは"ブルーエンジェル"と呼ばれています。
1954年に製造され、1985年6月2日にNS41が最後の運転し、
2年後に鉄道博物館に保存されました。
NS41; Diesel - electric Transmission
Due to the special blue colour and the winged decoration on the head,
this series of diesel engine is nicknamed "Blue Angel".
Manufactured in 1954, NS41 last operated on June 2, 1985,
and was moved to the Railway Museum two years later.

C. オランダ最古の電車
Oldest Electric Train in the Netherlands
ZHESM 6
これは、1908年に製造されたオランダ最古の電車です。
南オランダ電気鉄道（ZHESM）は、オランダで初めての電気鉄道でした。
2階もあります。
This is the oldest electric train in the Netherlands, manufactured in 1908.
ZHESM was the first electric railway in the Netherlands.
This train was manufactured by Beijnes (1838 -1963) in Haarlem.
It has a first floor, too.

私はこの車両が好きです。ニックネームがないのは残念。
"海辺の貴婦人" なんていかがでしょう？。
I like this vehicle. I am a little disappointed that there is no nickname.
How about "Beach Lady"?

Nederlandsche Rhijnspoorweg-Maatschappij (NRS) 会社の列車。

オランダで最初の蒸気機関車の1つで、駆動輪の前に台車があり、
It was one of the first locomotives in the Netherlands
with a bogie in front of the driving wheels which makes the locomotive run better.
展示の仕方に驚かされました。
I was surprised at how it is displayed.
下からも上からも見ることができます。
Can be seen from below and from above.
“Rhijnboog /レインブーグ” というニックネームは、
機関車を製造した鉄道会社（Nederlandsche Rhijnspoorweg-Maatschappij）
とボギーの英語の単語 "ボギー : bogie" の組み合わせです。
The nickname "Rhijnboog" is a combination of the railway company
that had the locomotive built (Nederlandsche Rhijnspoorweg-Maatschappij)
and the English word for bogie (draaistel).

最古の蒸気機関車です。
の蒸気機関車でした。

and its two predecessors.
大きなおもちゃという感じがします。

ジャンボ / Jumbo

蒸気機関車NS3737
愛称は、ジャンボ。
偶然にも、ジャンボとおチビちゃん (右下 : わかりますか？)
の一緒の写真が撮れました。

Nickname is Jumbo.
Coincidentally, Jumbo and Little Boy (Can you see, on the right bottom?)
were able to have a photograph together.
こんな風に上からの見られる展示が素敵です。
The display seen from above like this is wonderful.

7) 空飛ぶ自転車 / Flying Bicycle
吊るす展示方法は、良いな〜とこの博物館で思いました。
日本は、地震が多いので、この方法はあまり使わないのでしょうか？
I thought that the hanging display method was good in this Museum.
Perhaps Japan doesn't use this method much because there are many earthquakes?

軌道自転車
軌道自転車 (キドウジテンシャ) とは、運転者が乗車して鉄道線路上
を走行する車両です。
アニメーションの世界に出てくるような乗り物ですが、本当にあるのですね〜。
ちょっとびっくり！
Draisine
A draisine (track bicycle) is a vehicle on which a driver rides
and travels on a railroad track.
It is a vehicle that appears in the world of animation, but they really exist.
A little surprised!
なんとなくファンタジー世界を感じます。
I feel a fantasy world somehow.
これらの車両そのものなのか、展示の影響なのかわかりませんが、
私は軌道自転車が好きになりました。
I like draisines, I don't know if because of the vehicles themselves
or the effects of the exhibition. |
