1) 野外博物館として / As an Open-air Museum
スウェーデンの民俗学者、アルトゥール・ヘイゼリアス / Artur Hazelius (1833 -1901) が、1881年に野外博物館のノルウェー民俗博物館 / Norsk Folkemuseumに
触発されて、ユールゴーデン島に、野外博物館、スカンセンを設立しました。
そして、英国のカーディフ / Cardiff にある
"セント・ファガンズ歴史ミュージアム / St Fagans National Museum of History "：★は、アイオワス・サイフェイリオグ ・ピート / Ioweth Cyfeiliog Peate (1901 - 1982) が、スカンセンをモデルにして創設しました。
私とRは、奇遇にも、スカンセンを訪れる10日ほど前に、"セント・ファガンズ歴史ミュージアム" へ行っていました。
触発されて、ユールゴーデン島に、野外博物館、スカンセンを設立しました。
そして、英国のカーディフ / Cardiff にある
"セント・ファガンズ歴史ミュージアム / St Fagans National Museum of History "：★は、アイオワス・サイフェイリオグ ・ピート / Ioweth Cyfeiliog Peate (1901 - 1982) が、スカンセンをモデルにして創設しました。
私とRは、奇遇にも、スカンセンを訪れる10日ほど前に、"セント・ファガンズ歴史ミュージアム" へ行っていました。
セント・ファガンズ歴史ミュージアム については下記。
スカンセンも、"セント・ファガンズ"も単なる野外博物館に留まらず、訪問者が楽しめる要素が組み込まれ、娯楽施設にもなっているように感じます。
"セント・ファガンズ" は、収集された建物の屋内見学が殆どが可能であり、数カ所に案内の方がその場にいました。
付け加えると、"セント・ファガンズ" の案内の方の殆どは、ボランティアです。
ですが、スカンセンの素敵な建物は、屋内見学ができず、案内の方がいらしたのは、"オクトープ農場 / The Oktorp Farmstead" だけでした。
他の建物でも、屋内見学ができたり案内の方がいらしたりしたかもしれませんが、少なくとも私達が経験したのは、"オクトープ農場 のみでした。

オクトープ農場・案内図
オクトープ農場（Oktorpsgården）は、元は、
ハッランド地方のオクトープ村にありました。
1896年に、オクトープ農場はスカンセンに移転し、
その後、全体が再建され、最初の農場となりました。

Originally the Oktorp Farmstead (Oktorpsgården) was in Oktorp village in Halland.
In 1896, the Oktorp Farmstead was moved to Skansen
and was then the first farm to be rebuilt in its entirety.

As an Open-air Museum
A Swedish folklore scholar, Artur Hazelius (1833 -1901) founded the open-air museum, 'Skansen', in Djurgården island in 1881, inspired by , an open-air museum, Norsk Folkemuseum.
And St Fagans National Museum of History：★ in Cardiff, Britain was founded by Ioweth Cyfeiliog Peate (1901 - 1982), and modeled after Skansen.
What a coincidence, I and my husband R went to the "St Fagans History Museum" about 10 days before visiting Skansen.

I feel that both Skansen and "St Fagans" are more than just open-air museums, there are places that visitors can enjoy and are also recreational facilities.
In "St Fagans", it was possible to go inside most of the collected buildings and there were some guides there.
In addition, most of the "St Fagans" guides are volunteers.
However, the lovely buildings in Skansen could hardly be visited inside, and we only saw inside "The Oktorp Farmstead", there was a guide.
At other buildings, we may have been able to see inside tours or guides, but at least we only experienced "The Oktorp Farmstead".
In "St Fagans", it was possible to go inside most of the collected buildings and there were some guides there.

ここがオクトープ農場の一角であることに気が付きませんでした。
When I visited the dwelling part, I realized that the building was just an old farmhouse but I didn't realize that it was part of the Oktorp Farmstead.
A. 住居 / Dwelling House
私は住居部分を訪れていた時に、建物は、昔の農家を見せているとだけ理解し、ここがオクトープ農場の一角であることに気が付きませんでした。
When I visited the dwelling part, I realized that the building was just an old farmhouse but I didn't realize that it was part of the Oktorp Farmstead.

住居
日本の庄屋の家屋に似ているように感じました。
藁葺き屋根と凸凹した形がなんとも良い雰囲気です。
スカンセンでは、1870年代の農家を見せています。
Dwelling House
I felt that the way this house looked was similar to that of a house of
a "Shoya" ; a village headman in Japan.
The thatched roof and the uneven shape create a very good atmosphere.
Skansen shows a farm from the 1870s.
右の入り口から屋内に入れます。
赤い花が色味のない場所を明るくします。 訪問者にしたら、迎えられている気分になりますね。
You can enter inside from the right entrance.
The red flowers brighten the lack of colour.If you are a visitor, you feel like you are being greeted. |
B. 中庭 / Courtyard

西の納屋
中庭は建物で囲まれています。
当時、ほとんどの農場は正方形の四方を囲んで建てられていました。
作物の栽培が主な職業でした。
これは、穀物が脱穀されて保管された、納屋の2つの範囲に反映されています。
Westside Barn
The courtyard is surrounded by buildings.
At that time most of the farms were built round all the sides of a square.
Cultivating crops was the primary occupation.
This is reflected in the two ranges of threshing barns where
the grain was threshed and stored.

地面に石が敷かれているのは、手押し車や馬のタメだったのでしょうか？
The wheelbarrow is cute.
Was the stone laid on the ground due to use by wheelbarrows or horses?

屋根と煙突
垂木 (タルキ) が突き出して、千木 (チギ)のように見えます。 煙突が2つあるので、暖炉が少なくとも2つあることがわかり、 比較的裕福な農家であると考えられます。 Roof and Chimney Rafters stick out and look like Chigi. Chigi are rafters placed crossed at each end of a roof and
found on the roofs of shrine buildings in Japan.
Since there are two chimneys, I can see that the house had at least two fireplaces,
which is considered a relatively wealthy farmhouse.

可愛い装飾とコーヒーミルを写真に残したかったのです。
Linen cloth is hung from the ceiling, but it was not like that at the time.でも、こんな写真になってしまいました (涙)。 天井からは亜麻布が吊るされていますが、 当時はこのようにされていませんでした。 I wanted to record a lovely decoration and a coffee mill in my photograph. However the photograph is like this (Tears). |

パーティ用の装飾
ベンチの上の壁には、長い絵布が取り付けられていました。
タペストリーは農場の女性が織りました。
聖書をモチーフにした絵は、市場で購入したり、行商人から購入しました。
Decorations for Party
Long painted hangings were fixed to the walls above the benches.
Tapestries were woven by the women of the farm.
Pictures with Bible motifs were purchased at the market or from a peddler. |

この建物の左は中庭方面、右はロッジの中を抜けて住居の裏側(北側)へ出ます。
The left side of this building leads to the courtyard
and the right side goes through under the lodge
to the back (the North) of the dwelling house.

G. リンデロッド豚 / Linderöd Pig
 リンデロッド豚は、唯一残ったスウェーデン在来種で、 古代の森の豚に、その源があります。
リンデレード豚は、冬でも屋外で最も幸せで、寒い気候に耐えます。

I could only take photograph of the buttocks of the pig.
However, the cute curl is caught, perfect! (Laugh).

H. 北欧の水車小屋 / The Norse Mill

北欧の水車小屋
オクトープ農場の1部分として、ハッランド地方から移築されました。
The Norse Mill
It was relocated from the Halland region as part of The Oktorp Farmstead.
車輪と車軸の仕組み / Wheel and Axle Mechanism
神様が祀られている祠のように感じます。
(祠はずっとこれよりも小さいですが）
I feel it is like a Hokora where a God is enshrined.
(Although Hokora are much smaller than this.)
According to Wiki about Hokora,
"Hokora or hokura (祠 or 神庫) is a miniature Shinto shrine
either found on the precincts of a larger shrine and dedicated to folk kami,
or on a street side, enshrining kami not under the jurisdiction
of any large shrine.
Dōsojin, minor kami protecting travelers from evil spirits,
can for example be enshrined in a hokora."
