We went out of London for R's job, and we found a sign for an 'antiques warehouse'. We followed the sign and on our way stopped. I was expecting a large dull building though when we got there we found they used old timber barns.

TV番組で取り上げられたお店のひとつらしい……、ああ、それで便利ではないところなのに、結構人が来ているのねと思いました。
I found that here had been used in an antiques TV program, so I understood a few people come here even though it is not so convenient.

私はアンティークを見るのは好きですが、買うことはほぼないです。アンティクショップのお店の雰囲気が好きなのかもしれません。ここはたくさんのものがあり、その雰囲気はあまりありませんでした。そのかわりにピアノの生演奏がありました。
I like looking at an antiques, although I do not often buy.
I might like the atmosphere of antiques shops rather than antiques things. This shop does not have my favourite atmosphere, instead there was a singing pianist.
