　 KAMAKURA LOCO MART & GARDEN

3月16日の地震の影響で、仙台市内にはパンが販売されていないと聞きました。

仙台に住む友人Hさんへ鎌倉のパンを送ろうと、本日、夫Rと外出しました。

当初、KIBIYAベーカリーとベルグフェルドのパンを送ろうと思いましたが、KIBIYAベーカリーは定休日(水)で買えませんでした。

KIBIYAベーカリーから新しくできたベルグフェルド3号店 (御成店) へ行く途中で、鎌倉ロコマート＆ガーデン ：★ 前を通りました。

このお店はまれに寄る程度ですが、鎌倉に住み始めた時から利用しています。

ここで買った写真 (下) のようなピンクのマーガレットは、数年咲き続けています。

店先の花を見て、Rはまた同じような花をここで買おうと言っていました。

KAMAKURA LOCO MART & GARDEN

I heard that bread is not sold in Sendai due to the earthquake on 16th of March.

Sendai is the capital city of Miyagi Prefecture.

Today I went out with my husband R, because we would send Kamakura bread to our friend H San who lives in Sendai.

At first, we wanted to send the bread of KIBIYA Bakery and Bergfeld, but we couldn't buy KIBIYA's bread, because it was their regular holiday (Wednesday).

On the way from KIBIYA to the new 3rd shop of Bergfeld (Onari shop), we passed in front of KAMAKURA LOCO MART & GARDEN: ★.

We rarely visited this shop, but we have been using it since we started living in Kamakura.

The pink Marguerite we bought here, like the one in the photograph above, has been in bloom for a few years.

Seeing the flowers at the shopfront, R said he will buy similar flowers here again.

2) ベルグフェルド / Bergfeld

ベルグフェルドは、雪の下本店、長谷店がありました。

3月に3号店・御成店が新しくできたのです。

ここで、Hさんへのパンを買いました。

私達は、ランチを食べました。

Bergfeld

Bergfeld have had the main shop・Yukinoshita Shop and the Hase Shop.

The third shop, Onari shop, was newly opened in March.

We bought bread for H San.

We ate lunch here.

パンは本店から運ばれてきます。
写真のパンはディスプレイ用です。
実際のパンは店内で販売されています。

Bread is carried from the main shop.
The bread in the photograph is for the display.
The bread for sale is in the shop.

私達がお店に入ったときは、カフェ席はほぼ満席でした。

ラッキーにも1つ空いていたので、私達は席につくことができました。

10人余で満席になる規模のカフェです。

常時スタッフさんは忙しそうでしたが、笑顔を絶やさず、穏やかな接客でした。

When we entered the shop, the cafe tables were almost full.

Luckily, one was free, so we were able to have a table.

It is a cafe that can be filled with about 10 people.

The staff seemed to be busy all the time, but they kept smiling and the customer service was gentle.

Rのランチ/ R's Lunch

Rはベルグフェルドの食パンが大好きです。

R loves Bergfeld's white bread.

私のランチ : ベルグサンドセット
Rの食べられない材料が盛りだくさんです。
彼との生活で私が食べられない味が楽しめて嬉しい。
ベルグサンドセットには飲み物がつきます。
ワインを選ぶときもありますが、
今日はホットコーヒーを選びました。
Rも私もコーヒーはおかわりしました。
おかわりは通常よりも安くなりますが正確な値段は
忘れました。

My Lunch : 'Berg Sandwich Set'

There are plenty of inedible ingredients for R.

I'm glad I enjoyed the taste I couldn't eat in my life with him.

The Berg Sandset comes with a drink.

Sometimes I choose wine, but today I chose hot coffee.

Both R and I have another cup of coffee.

The refill is cheaper than usual, but I forgot the exact price.

二人揃って、ゆったりとしたカフェランチ、カフェタイムを取ったのは、久しぶりでした。

とっても特別なランチ、コーヒーではないけれでも、美味しいランチ、コーヒーでした。

私達にとっては、ゆったりとしたカフェタイムで、とっても特別でした。

It's been a while since we both had a relaxing cafe lunch and cafe time.

They were not our very special lunch and coffee, but they were our delicious lunch and coffee.

It was a relaxing cafe time and very special for us.

3) パラダイスアレイブレッド＆カンパニー 

     PARADISE ALLEY BREAD＆CO.

パラダイスアレイブレッド＆カンパニー 
パラダイスアレイブレッド＆カンパニー は、
鎌倉市農協連即売所 (レンバイ)内にあるパン屋さんです。
小さなお店ですがとても人気があるようです。
長い行列は見ませんがいつも人が待っています。
今日も私達の前に一人いたので待ちました。
上の写真のフォカッチャと下のリュスティックのどちらを
買おうか迷い、ベルグサンドのパンとはかなり違う
フォカッチャを選びました。
このパンもHさん用です。

Paradise Array Bread & Company

Paradise Array Bread & Company is a bakery

 in the Kamakura Farmers Market (nickname, Renbai).

It's a small shop, but it seems to be very popular.

I don't see long queue, but people are always waiting.

Today there was a person before us, so we waited.

I couldn't decide whether to buy the Focaccia,

 in the photograph above or the Rustique below.

I chose the Focaccia, which was quite different from Bergfeld bread.

This bread was also for H San.

この日に送りたかったので、急いで帰りました。

We wanted to send it on this day, so we hurried home.

早朝、コジュケイ(小綬鶏)の声が響き渡ります。

鳴くのはオスです。

その声はよく「チョットコイ チョットコイ」と聞こえると言われます。

それを知ると、そう聞こえます(笑)。

声は一年中、聞こえ、姿は春から夏に見られるように思います。

とは言っても、声はよく聞きますが姿はあまり見ません。

姿はなかなか見られないし、撮影も難しいです。

私が姿を見ている時には鳴きません。

今日も声だけ聞きました。

Chinese Bamboo Partridge's Call 

Early in the morning, the calling of Chinese Bamboo Partridge echoed.

It is the male that calls.

In Japan, they often describe its call sounds like "Chot-koi, Chot-koi"  which means "Hey come on!" in Japanese.

When I know that it sounds like "Chot-koi, Chot-koi" (in Japan, often people describe its call), I feel its sounds like that (Laugh).

I think I can hear the calls all year round and see them from spring to summer.

That said, I often hear the calls, but I don't often see.

It's hard to see them and it's difficult to photograph.

They don't call when I'm watching.

Today I only heard the call.

昨年、初めて庭に来たコジュケイ(小綬鶏)を撮影した写真です。
この時はカップルでした。

These are photographs of Chinese Bamboo Partridge that

 came to our garden for the first time last year.

It was a couple at this time.

Japanese name is Kojukei.

2) 開花 / Flowering 

A. ゼラニウム開花 / Geranium Flowering

ゼラニウム開花
昨年秋にこのゼラニウムの苗を植えました。
秋には、健康で大きな葉が育っていました。
ですが冬に鳥に食べられ3分の1ほどの大きさになっていました。
春になって徐々に回復し新しい健康な葉が育ち、ちょっと安心。
そして、3月18日に初めて赤い花を咲かせました。

Geranium Flowering

This geranium seedling was planted last autumn.

In the autumn, healthy large leaves were growing.

However, they were eaten by birds in winter 

and it became about one-third the size.

In spring, it gradually recovers and new healthy leaves grow, 

so I am a little reassured.

And on 18th of March, a red flower bloomed for the first time.

B. ソメイヨシノ開花 

　 Yoshino Cherry Flowering

ソメイヨシノ開花
朝、私達のソメイヨシノ(染井吉野)が
開花しているのを見つけました。
'私達の'と、私と夫Rは言いますが、実際は公道の桜です。
ですが、私達の家の前にあり庭にも入り込み、咲きます。
昨年は何回かお花見をしました。
今年は私の個展準備があり、お花見は難しいでしょう。

Yoshino Cherry Blossom

In the morning, I found our Yoshino Cherry in bloom.

"Our", I and my husband R say, 

but it's actually the cherry tree on a public road.

However, it is in front of our house and 

goes over our garden and blooms.

Last year, we had Ohanami : cherry blossom viewing, a few times.

I am preparing for my exhibition this year, 

so it will be difficult to have Ohanami.

開きかけた蕾 / Buds that are About to Open

多くは、まだ蕾です。
Many are still buds.

C. ブルーベリーの蕾 / Blueberry Buds

ブルーベリー
ブルーべりーもたくさんの蕾をつけています。
昨年、取り付けたネットが無粋な雰囲気です。
取り付けたり、取り払ったりする体力が
私達にはないので仕方ありません。

Blueberry

Blueberry also has a lot of buds.

The net that we installed last year has an ingenious atmosphere.

It can't be helped because we don't have the physical strength to 

install or remove it.

D. クリスマスローズ /Christmas Rose

クリスマスローズ
庭にはいくつかのクリスマスローズがあります。
その中で、例年、ブルベリーの根元に咲く、
このクリスマスローズが一番元気です。
また、この一角が最も自然の風景の雰囲気がしていました。
ですが昨年からブルーベリーのためのネットを設置したので
その雰囲気は失われてしまいました。
相変わらず、元気に咲いてくれているのが嬉しいです。

Christmas Rose

There are several Christmas roses in our garden.

Among them, this Christmas rose, which blooms 

at the base of the blueberry

 every year, is the most energetic.

Also, this corner had the most natural scenery atmosphere.

However, since I installed a net for blueberries from last year, 

the atmosphere has been lost.

I'm glad that this is still in high spirit.

2022年3月22日 個展準備 - 作品選択 / Preparation for My Exhibition - Work Selection, 22nd of March, 2022

作品選択 / Work Selection

4月の個展で展示するリトグラフ作品をギャラリー412のスタッフ、Chizukaさんと選びました。

その後、額装の仕方や額選びも、いつも額装を依頼している、'Warkers' のKさんに相談しつつ決めました。

Chizukaさん、Kさんにはお忙しい中、時間を作っていただき、鎌倉の私の家までいらしていただきました。

ありがとうございました。

作品を額装に出せて、少しホッとしました。

お礼のケーキ
　お礼のケーキを焼きました。
オーブンから出した時は綺麗に割れていましたが、
撮影時には割れ目は無くなっていました。
焼きが足りなかったかと思いましたが、
ちゃんと焼けていたので安心しました。

Cakes for Thank You 
I baked cakes for thank you.
When I took them out of the oven, they cracked beautifully,
but when I photographed them, the cracks had disappeared.
I thought the cooking wasn't enough, but I was relieved
because they were cooked properly.

Work Selection

I chose the lithograph works to be exhibited at my Exhibition in April with Chizuka San, a staff member of Galerie412.

After that, we decided how to frame and which frame finish to use while consulting with K San of 'Warkers', who I always ask for frames.

Chizuka San and K San took time to visit my house in Kamakura while they were busy.

Thank you very much.

I was a little relieved to be able to order the frames.

    Sakura Soba and Cha Soba

桜そばと茶そば

湯布院 (ユフイン) の桜そばを買いました。

桜そばには、桜の青葉が練り込まれています。

茶そばは好きなので、比較的常時あります。

Sakura Soba and Cha Soba

I bought Sakura Soba : Cherry Soba from Yufuin which 

was a town located in Ōita District, Ōita Prefecture, Japan 

and is now a district within the city of Yufu.

Green Cherry leaves are kneaded into the soba noodles.

I like Cha soba (Green tea noddle), so I have it very often.

私が何も言わなくとも、夫Rは 、桜の箸置きを用意しました。
気が利きます。
ありがとう！

Chopstick Rests of Cherry
Even though I didn't say anything,
my husband R prepared cherry chopstick rests.
He is so thoughtful!

Rは、鎌倉の地ビールでIPA : インディア・ペール・エールの
'SKYWAKLER'を買っていました。
昨年のクリスマスに鎌倉の友人がクリスマスプレゼント
してくれたビールです。
RはIPAが好きなので買ってましたが私には、
自分の個展 (写真のDM) とのリンクを感じました。
またひめくりカレンダーが桜関係だったので
これにも桜そばとのリンクを感じました。

 IPA: India Pale Ale,

This beer was also given to us by friends of 

Kamakura last Christmas.

He bought this because he likes IPA, 

but I felt a link with my exhibition (Invitation card in the photograph).

Also, since the Daily calendar was related to Sakura: Cherry,

 I felt a link with Sakura Soba : Cherry Soba.

2022年3月18日 個展準備 - リトグラフ工房 / Preparation for My Exhibition - Lithograph Studio, 18th of March, 2022

個展のためのリトグラフ作品は、大町 (鎌倉市) のリトグラフ工房でしました。

この日は、個展前にリトグラフ工房へゆく最後でした。

工房の前に医者へ寄ったので、いつもとは違うルートを使い、工房へ行きました。

何年か前には、そのルートはリトグラフ工房からの帰路によく使用していました。

今回は、往路は最短コース、帰路のほとんどはバスでした。

なので、今日のルートは新鮮でした。

雨が降っていたので傘を手にしていました。

ニコンのカメラでなく、i-phoneを使用した撮影でしたが、それでも雨の中の撮影は苦でした。

にも関わらず、50枚余、写真を撮りました。

ここに、いくつかの写真を載せます。

"LONG TRACK FOODS"
鎌倉市農協連即売所 (通称レンバイ)内にある
 "LONG TRACK FOODS" です。
デリカテッセンのお店です。
私はまだ利用したことはありません。
私がここを見るときはいつも行列ができています。
ですが、今日は誰もいませんでした。
なので、初めて撮影できました。

"LONG TRACK FOODS"
 "LONG TRACK FOODS" is in the Kamakura Farmers Market
(nickname, Renbai).
It is a delicatessen shop.
I haven't used this shop yet.
Whenever I look at here, there is a queue.
But today there was no one.
So I was able to photograph for the first time.

Outbound

I make lithograph works for my exhibition in the lithograph studio in Ōmachi, Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture.

This day was the last time I would go to the lithograph studio before my exhibition.

I went to the doctor before the studio, so I took a different route to the studio.

A few years ago, I often used this route on my way back from the studio.

This time, my outbound route was the shortest, and most of the return route was by bus.

So today's route was fresh for me.

It was raining, I was holding an umbrella.

I used my i-phone instead of my Nikon camera, but it was still difficult to photograph in the rain.

Despite this, I took more than 50 photographs.

Here are some of the photographs.

裏道で
セキレイ（鶺鴒、鶺䴇)を見つけました。
右のシャッター前にいます。
正面の立派な玄関は一般住宅です。

Along the Back Road
I found a Wagtail (Motacilla).
It is in front of the shutter on the right.
Beyond, the splendid entrance gate is a general house.

素早い動きで、この程度にしか
撮影できませんでした。

梅か桜か？
お雛様のぼんぼりを思わせます。
紅梅か、カワヅザクラ (河津桜) か、
私には判断がつきません。

Ume or Cherry Tree?

It reminds me of a Japanese paper lantern : Bonbori of Ohinasama, 

placed above platforms covered 

with a red carpet–material used to display 

a set of ornamental dolls (雛人形, hina-ningyō) .

I can't tell if it's red plum or Kawazu-zakura.

According to KAWAZU TOURIST ASSOCIATION, 

"Kawazu-zakura in Kawazu Town is in full bloom in early 

February every year, as the cherry blossoms bloom early".

下川橋
下川橋は、滑川 (ナメリガワ) にかかっています。
この橋を通るのは久しぶりです。
この橋から、時々サギ (鷺) を見ますが
今日はいませんでした。

Shimokawa Bridge
The Shimokawa Bridge spans the Nameri River.
It's been a while since I crossed this bridge.
From this bridge, I sometimes see a Heron, but not today.

ハクモクレン
煉瓦色の壁を背景に咲く、ハクモクレン (白木蓮 /白木蘭)。

White Magnolia
White Magnolia (Yulan Magnolia / Magnolia Denudata) blooming
against a red-brick colored wall.

常栄寺
常栄寺 (ジョウエイジ)、通称、ぼたもち寺です。
通称は日蓮(1222 -1282)の伝説に由来しています。
私のブログで何度かここについて書きましたので、
詳細はここでは省略します。

Jyoei-ji Temple

Joeiji Temple, commonly known as Botamochi Temple.

Botamochi is a wagashi (Japanese confection)  

made of glutinous rice, regular rice and 

sweet azuki paste (red bean paste).

The temple derives its name from a legend involving 

Nichiren (1222 -1282) who was the founder of 

the Buddhist sect of the same name.

I've written about this Temple several times on my blog, 

so I don't go into details here.

まだ境内に入ったことがありません。

I haven't entered the precincts yet.

紅白の梅
紅白の梅が山を背に面白い形で咲いていました。

Red and White Plum
Red and white Plums were blooming in an interesting shape
with the mountain in the background.

白椿
時々白椿を見かけます。
ですが、なかなか綺麗な状態の花がなく
撮影しませんでした。
ようやく、綺麗に咲く花を見つけました。

White Camellia

Sometimes I see white camellia.

However, I didn't photograph because there weren't 

any beautiful condition flowers.

Finally, I found a beautiful flower.

八雲神社
大町の八雲神社は、厄除け開運の神社です。
鎌倉で最も古い厄除け神社と言われています。
神社の裏は衹園山ハイキングコースの出発地点になっています。
ただし現在このコースは過去の台風の影響で全面通行止めです。
下記、Wikiより
"社伝によれば、永保年間 (1081 -1084)、
源 義光 (ミナモトノヨシミツ / 1045 - 1127) が奥州へ向かうのに
際し、鎌倉に疫病が流行しているのをみて、京都祇園社の祭神を
勧請し、祭ったのが始まりと伝えられる。"
ここを知ってから、神社をお参り、ハイキングコースも
行ってみたいと思いつつ、実現できていません。

Yagumo Shrine

Yagumo Shrine in Ōmachi is a shrine of Good Luck and Apotropaic.

It is said to be the oldest Apotropaic Shrine in Kamakura.

Behind the shrine is the starting point for Mt. Gion Hiking Course.

However, this course is currently closed due to 

the effects of past typhoons.

According to the Japanese Wiki,

" the Shrine biography said, the shrine started that 

during Eihō Era (1081 -1084),

 when Minamoto no Yoshimitsu (1045 - 1127) headed 

for Mutsu Province, he saw an epidemic in Kamakura and 

solicited for the coming of a deity of Kyoto Gion Shrine. "

After learning about this, I wanted to worship at this shrine

 and go hiking, but I couldn't make it yet.

赤い椿
鎌倉では頻繁に赤い椿を見ます。
椿が扱いやすい花が咲く木だからでしょうか？
これは鎌倉ならではのことなのか、他でもそうなのか
わかりません。
鎌倉を舞台にした、小説『ツバキ文具店』
[小川 糸 (オガワ イト/ 1973 ~ ) 作/ 2016 / 幻冬舎] があります。

この小説のタイトルは、鎌倉のこの現象に由来するのかしら？？？

Red Camellia : Red Tsubaki

I often see red camellias in Kamakura.

Is it because the camellia is a tree with flowers 

that is easy to handle?

I don't know if this is unique to Kamakura or elsewhere.

There is a novel, "Tsubaki Stationery Shop" : "La papeterie Tsubaki"

[Ito Ogawa (1973 ~) / 2016 / Gentosha] set in Kamakura.

Is the title of this novel derived 

from this phenomenon in Kamakura??? 

木瓜
木瓜 (ボケ)は、朱赤とすぐイメージしますが、
これは白赤混合です。

Japanese Quince : Boke
Japanese Quince (Boke in Japanese) is immediately imagined
 as vermilion, however, this is a mixture of white and red.

スノーフレーク
このスノーフレーク は雨にぬれて綺麗でした。 
スノーフレーク、和名は オオマツユキソウ。
どちらも雪をイメージして名付けられています。
「鈴蘭 (スズラン)に似ている！」
というのも一般的な印象に思えますし、
私も見るたびに思います。
別名でスズランスイセン（鈴蘭水仙)というのもあります。
スノーフレーク は雨にぬれて綺麗でした。

Summer Snowflake
Leucojum Aestivum, commonly called
Summer Snowflakeor Loddon Lily.
This Summer Snowflake was wet and beautiful in the rain.

Japanese name is Omatsuyukisou.

Both are named after the image of snow.

"It looks like a Lily of the Valley!" 

This seems to be a general impression, 

and I feel this every time I see it.

There is also another name, 

Suzuran-suisen : Narcissus Lily and Narcissus of the Valley.

たくさんの水仙

楽しそうに咲いている、たくさんの水仙です。

ちなみに英語で水仙は NarcissusとDaffodilsがあり、

明確な違いはないようです。

Daffodilsは黄色水仙の場合よく使用されるようです。

私のブログでも強い意味なく、両方使用しています。

Lots of Daffodils

There are many daffodils that are blooming happily.

By the way, in English, it is called Narcissus or Daffodils, 

and there seems to be no clear difference.

Daffodils seems to be commonly used for yellow ones.

I use both without a strong meaning in my blog.

こちらの水仙も非常に健康的です。

This daffodil is also very healthy.

白木蓮
白木蓮は紫木蓮よりも幻想的に私には感じられます。
特にこの木は、そのイメージが強いです。
木の世界に吸い込まれそう...。

White Magnolia

I feel White Magnolia more fantastic than Purple Magnolia.

Especially this tree has that strong image.

I'm likely to be sucked into the world of the tree ...

The Studio is Coming Soon!

前回見た時には、みんな蕾でしたが今は満開です。
残念ながら雨で写真全体が暗くなってしまいました。

When I saw this last time, they were all buds,
but now they are in full bloom.
Unfortunately, the rain made the whole photo dark.

2) 工房 / Studio

新しい版を2つ作り、その2版を使って、2色を刷りました。

今までこういったやり方は避けていましたが、もう、今日は仕方がないということで行いました。

個展前の強行手段です。

10点以上作った作品は全てモノ作品になりました。

この中からいくつか選んで個展会場に展示します。

最終の 'デキ' は、個展会場へ見にいらしてください。

Studio

I completed two new platemakings and used those two to print two colours.

I've avoided this way until now, but I decided to do it today because it can't be helped.

It is a means of forcing before the exhibition.
