The Severn Valley Railway is a heritage line in Shropshire and Worcestershire, and connects Bridgnorth Railway Station to Kidderminster Railway Station.

手前にアカンサス
昨年まで、私は
'アカンサス'という名前と
その花が結び付けられていませんでした。
それを知ると、アカンサスは多くのガーデンに見られる花なのだと気がつきます。
建築にも装飾としてよく使用されている花だということも、見るたびに思います。
Acanthus this Side
Until
last year, I had no connection with the name 'Acanthus' and its
flowers.Knowing that, I realize that people can see Acanthus in many
gardens.
I
think every time I see that the flower is often used as a decoration
in architecture.

防空壕があることに驚きました。
I was surprised that there was an air raid shelter.

 博物館の庭なので、こういう展示(設置?)があります。 Because it is a museum garden, there is such an exhibition (installation?).  近くの郵便局員とその家族のための防空壕でした。 |

  水車とポンプ 段差を利用し電力を作り、ポンプを動かしていました。 小さな水力発電所でしょうか？ They used the steps to generate electricity and operate the pump.

けれども、Rが結構説明してくれました。

However, R explained quite well.
3) クイーンエリザベス2世記念ガーデン
Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Gardens
庭が、'ひと続き' という印象だったので、案内板を目にするまで、ここが
"Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Gardens"だ
ということに気がつきませんでした。
上の地図の表記の仕方とこの案内板の表記が違うので
最初、別の庭かと思いました。 けれども、今は、"エリザベス女王2世記念ガーデン"と "エリザベス女王2世ガーデン"は 同じ庭だと理解しています。 At first, I thought it was a different garden
because the way the notation on the map above was different
from the notation on this sign.
However, now I understand that "Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Gardens" and "Queen Elizabeth II Gardens" are the same garden. |
The garden seemed to be 'one-stop', so I didn't realize it was "Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Gardens" until I saw the sign.
