ピーターラビットは、ビアトリクス・ポターの絵本の主役、世界中で知られているキャラクターだと思います。
私が英国で初めて一人旅をしたのは、湖水地方で、その目的はピーターラビットの故郷を訪ねることでした。
絵本ももちろん持っています。
ですが、ここ数年、いえ、10年以上、ピーターラビットの世界にかかわることがなかったように思います。
いただいたチケットは、とても新鮮に思えました。
私、夫Rは、私の姉Yと世田谷美術館で待ち合わせをしました。

Invitation Ticket
At the time of my exhibition in April, I was given an invitation ticket for the Peter Rabbit Exhibition held in the Setagaya Art Museum : ★ from a visitor M San.
Peter Rabbit is the main character of Beatrix Potter's picture books known all over the world.
My first solo trip in Britain was in the Lake District, to visit Peter Rabbit's hometown.
Of course, I have the picture books.
But I don't think I've been involved in the world of Peter Rabbit in the last few years, no, for more than 10 years.
I felt the ticket brought something new.
I and my husband, R arranged to meet and my sister, Y in the Museum.
The Setagaya Art Museum is located in Kinuta Park : ★.

世田谷美術館 の野外には、たくさんの彫刻作品が設置されているようです。
今回、全てを見てはいませんが、私は、上の3点の作品が好きでした。
It seems that many sculptures are installed outside the Setagaya Art Museum.
I didn't see all of them this time, but I liked the above three works.
4) 2つの展覧会 / Two Exhibitions

2つの展覧会 ピーターラビット展の他に美術家たちの沿線物語展を 開催していることを看板で知りました。 Two Exhibitions In addition to the Peter Rabbit Exhibition, I found from a sign that they were holding an Artists Along the Railway Lines Exhibition.  2つの展覧会については、後のブログのそれぞれ違う セクションに載せたいと思います。 I will post about the two exhibitions in separate sections in a later blog.  |
5) 煙突 / Chimney

| 世田谷清掃工場の煙突 美術館と公園は世田谷清掃工場に隣接しています。 '美術館通り'は、実は清掃工場通りでもあるのです。 工場のそばを歩いているときには気がつきませんでしたが、 美術館前から煙突を見ると、煙突のペイントが空と雲で あったことに気がつきました。 Chimney of Setagaya Incineration Plant The museum and park are adjacent to 'Art Museum Street' is actually for the incineration plant street as well. I didn't notice the pattern of the chimney when I was walking by the factory, but when I looked at the chimney from the front of the museum, I noticed that the paint on the chimney was the sky and clouds. |
住宅地として嫌われる土地に、しばしば、新しい美術館が建てられます。
これは日本だけではないように思います。
世田谷美術館もゴミ焼却場の近くという環境です。
その環境を生かすべく、館内の熱供給に工場のゴミ焼却の余熱が再利用されているそうです。
New museums are often built on land disliked as residential areas.
I think this is not only in Japan.
The Setagaya Art Museum is also in an environment near an Incineration Plant.
In order to take advantage of this environment, it seems that the waste heat from the factory's waste incineration is reused to supply heat to the Museum.
