立ち飲み屋
: "ヒトモト"
/ Stand Bar, "Hitomoto"
私は、初めて横須賀に行きました。
TJ&H Sanカップルに、酒屋さんが経営する、立ち飲み屋さん、"ヒトモト" に連れて行ってもらいました。
酒屋さんが経営しているので、あらゆるお酒が飲めてしまう、魅惑の店です(笑)。
"ヒトモト"は、その酒屋さんの隣にあります。
カウンターに立つ女性が、ハメをはずすお客には注意をするので、店は健全に保たれている印象でした。
おつまみは、乾き物や缶詰がほとんどですが、自家製の燻製もあります。
私は純米酒をいただきました。
遠い昔、会社の上司に連れられて行った、大阪の地下街の立ち飲み屋を思い出しました。
そこよりずっと、ここは小綺麗です。
TJ&H Sanは、横須賀にくると、かなりの確率で、"ヒトモト" に行くそうです。
「女の人だけでも大丈夫だから、また来てくださいね」
と、H Sanと私に笑顔とともに小声で言われたので、
「はい」
と自動的に返事をしてしまいましたが、次回があるとすれば、TJ&HとRと私の4人でくるように思います。
ここでは撮影ができる雰囲気でなかったので、していません。
Stand Bar, Hitomoto
It
was the first time I visited Yokosuka.
Tj&H san couple took me a standbar, “Hitomoto” which is managed by a
liquor shop.
The
liquor shop manages it so we could drink all sorts of alcohol, the
bar is bewitching (laugh).
“Hitomoto”
is next-door to the liquor shop.
The
woman behind counter can admonish people who cut loose, my
impression is the bar keeps a wholesome
atmosphere.
Most of their snacks are casual dry or tinned, though they do have
their own smoked things.
I
had a glass of Junmaishyu ; a type of sake.
It reminded me of a stand bar in underground shopping centre in Osaka which my then boss took me to a long time ago.
If Tj&H san couple come to Yokosuka, they might well come to this bar.
Before
just we were leaving, the counter woman whispered with her smile to
H
San and I,
“It
is alright only women, so please come again”
automatically,
we said
“Yes”
though if I visit here again, I might be with TJ&H San and R.
I
felt I could not photographs in the atmosphere of the bar, so I
didn't.
2) どぶ板通り / Dobuita Street
第二次大戦前、この通りには道の中央にどぶ川が流れていたが、人やクルマの通行の邪魔になるため海軍工廠より厚い鉄板を提供してもらい、どぶ川に蓋をしたことから「どぶ板通り」と呼ばれるようになった。"
ほぼこの内容を私は車の中で、二人から聞きました。
なんと、私は、"スカジャン" を知りませんでした。
どぶ板通りのことも、全く知りませんでした。
どこかに出かけて行くと、自分の無知を思い知らされます。
Dobuita Street
We walked on Dobuita Street.
Accordint to Japanese Wkiki (I translate myself), below
"Dobuita
Street' is a pedestrianized road about 300m long in Yokosuka.
It
is famous as the birthplace of 'Skajan', richly embroidered satin
baseball jackets.
Before
World War II, an open drain ran along the centre of the street,
Japanese Navy Arsenal gave there very thick iron plates to cover the
drain.
Then
people called it 'Dobuita Street' : drain board street."
I heard this story from TJ& H couple in their car.
I did not know 'Skajan'.
I did not know anything about 'Dobuita Street'.
When I go somewhere, I realize my ignorance.

どぶ板通り
現在では整備されて、当時の "どぶ板通り" の名残は感じられません。
夜になると様相が変わると聞きましたが、
この日は日のあるうちにしか歩いていません。
Dobuita Street
Nowadays here has developed, I do not feel any atmosphere of the time.
I heard if it is night, the situation could be changed,
although we did not walk there at night that day.

このアイリッシュパブは、 'どぶ板通り' にあります。
アメリカ人の男性がカウンターに立っていました。

アイルランドと言ったら、やっぱりギネスでしょ。
2005年にしたアイルランド旅行を思い出しながら
そして今夏行く予定のアイルランド旅行を思いながら飲みました。
Speaking
of Ireland, it is Guinness as expected.
While I
was having this, I remembered my Ireland trip, 2005
and
thought about an Ireland trip this year.
2005年の旅の時は、行く先々でギネスを飲み、
各地で味が違うことを楽しみました。
ここの味はダブリンのホテルのバーと似ているように思いました。
When I had the trip in 2005, I had Guinness wherever we went
and I enjoyed the different tastes in different places.
I felt this taste was similar to a hotel bar in Dublin.

撮影していたら、カウンターの彼がコースターを持ってきてくれました。
