横須賀基地

ずいぶん前から、ヨコスカ軍港クルーズ乗り場の近くから、横須賀基地 (海上自衛隊) の艦船を撮影したいと思っていました。

横須賀基地というのは通称で、海上自衛隊の港湾・陸上施設群のことをさすそうですが、もしかしたら、米軍の基地も含むのかもしれません。

私が2017年の個展作品制作中に、Rが一人旅よろしく、ここに私より先に訪れていたので、羨ましく思っていました。

TJ&H カップルが偶然にも横須賀へ連れて行ってくれるというので(目的はとんかつ屋さんでした<笑>)が、この場所を期待してました。

彼らの計画にはなかったのですが、連れて行ってもらい、念願の艦船を撮影できました。

私の感激をTJ&H カップルは知らないと思います(笑)。

次は、クルーズに乗りたい....次があれば....

Yokosuka Naval Base

For a long time I hoped I could photograph Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force ships in 'Yokosuka Naval Base' from close to the landing-place of 'Naval Harbour Cruise'.

While I prepared my exhibition, 2017, R had a solo journey and visited there before me, so I envied him.

By chance, TJ&H Couple said me they would take me to Yokosuka, so I expected there, though actually our purpose was to visit a restaurant for Tokankatsu: deep fried pork.

They did not have plan about the harbour, although they guided me there, I could photograph my long-cherished wish.

I think they did not know my emotion (laugh).

Next time I would like to go on the cruise....if I have a next...
