自宅近くに、野草花を売る、素敵なお店、"草花屋 苔丸"があります。

オーナー (赤地光太郎) さんから、二つのイベントのDMをいただいたので、そのうち一つへ出かけました。

苔丸さんの仕事は、もちろん、お店で、そして北鎌倉の、

ビストロ、"ラ・ペクニコヴァ" と"喫茶ミンカ"で、見ています。

ですが、展示会の形で見るのは初めてです。

食器のお店、"うつわ祥見" は、鎌倉西口の御成通りにあり、そこで彼の生花展示："花とうつわ展" がありました。

お店、花器、花入れがとてもあっていて、相乗効果があり、日常にある美を感じました。

お店はギャラリーのようでした。

ちょっと残念だったのは、最終日だったので、植物にあまり元気が感じられませんでした。

もっと早く来れば良かったと思いましたが、この日はこの日で楽しく見ました。

以前、2,3度来たことがあり、作家さん専門のお店なのだな〜と思いました。

I visited here a couple of time, I thought they specialize in studio potters.

There is a lovely "Kokemaru"(Shop) which specializes in wild flowers, and it is close to my house.

The owner, Koutaro Akachi gave me DMs of two his events, so I went to one of them on the day.

I had seen "Kokemaru"'s work, of course in the shop, for 
a restaurant, La PEKNIKOVA and "Kissa - Minka"(Cafe Minka) in Kita-Kamaura.

However, it was the first time I saw his exhibit.

There is a table-ware shop, "UTSUWA SOUKEN" on Onari street, west side Kamakura Station which held his exhibit : "Exhibition - Flower and Utsuwa".

Utsuwa means bowl, vessel and container in Japanese.

The shop, vases and flower arrangements suited each other well, it was synergistic effect and I felt there was a beauty in daily life.

The shop was like a gallery.

It was slightly disappointing that the plants seemed past their best, because it was the last day.

I thought I should have visited earlier, although I still enjoyed looking at the Exhibition on the day.

ひゅーっと伸びて、面白い...
宇宙の模型をイメージします。

This is fun, it pops like a jack-in-the-box.
I imagine a model about planets.

隣に内緒話をしているようです。

ちょっとひょうきんで好き
I like this because it is a little jocular

東山魁夷 (1908 -1999) の"冬華 (トウカ) "
[リトグラフ / 1992]を思わせます。
 
Beside Till

It reminds me of "Touka" [lithograph /1964] by Kaii Higashiyama.

'Touka' means 'winter flower' in Japanese.
