| 道路脇の花 撮影時は知りませんでしたが、帰宅後調べ、 ヤナギバルイラソウ (柳葉ルイラ草) とわかりました。 Flowers at Side of Road I didn't know it at the time of photographing, but after returning home, I found out that it is Mexican Petunia.  園芸種のような花ですが、日本では雑草扱いのようです。 原産はメキシコで、当初は観賞用に世界に広まったようです。 It is a flower like a garden variety but it seems to be treated as a weed in Japan. It originated in Mexico and initially seems to have spread around the world for ornamental purposes. |

| サルビア・ファリナセア サルビア・ファリナセアという名前を知りました。 サルビアは赤！と思っていましたが、白もあり、 そしてこんな紫もあるのです。 他の花々とともに、素敵に咲いています。 Salvia Farinacea I found out the name Salvia Farinacea. Salvia is red! I thought, but there is also white, and there is also such purple. It blooms nicely with other flowers.  玄関前の庭を計画していらっしゃることが察しられます。 私達の庭は行き当たりばったり....なかなかこんな風に 仕上げることはできません。 I can see that the owner is planning a garden in front of the entrance. Our garden is haphazard .... it's hard for us to finish it like this. |

こんにちは！ 意図されてなのか、偶然なのかわかりませんが 紫陽花が2つ顔を出しています。 Hello! I don't know if it was intended or accidental, but two hydrangeas are showing.  窓から顔を覗かせるレディという印象です。 My impression is that you are a lady who can look out from your window. |

| グラジオラス グラジオラスは幼い頃から名前を知っている数少ない花です。 日本ではかなり一般的なのかもしれません。 原産地は、アフリカ・地中海沿岸です。 名前は、葉 (一説には花が咲く前の一連のつぼみ) が 剣のようであり、 ラテン語の "剣 : Gladius" に由来します。 英名の1つ 、'ソード・リリー ' : ' 百合の剣' も同じ由来でしょうか？ Gladiolus Gladiolus is one of the few flowers that I have known the plant's name since childhood. It may be quite common in Japan. The place of origin is the coast of Africa and the Mediterranean Sea. The name comes from the Latin word "Sword : Gladius" because the leaves (in one theory, a series of buds before the flowers bloom) are like swords. An English name is 'Sword Lily'. Did it come from the same origin? |

| テッセン 立派なテッセンです。 Clematis It is a handsome Clematis.  最近は、'クレマチス'という名前の方が 一般的なのかもしれません。 It is called Tessen in Japanese, although the name, 'Clematis' may be more common these days. |

Longhorn Beetle is sometimes found in our garden. This is the first time I have photographed.  世界中に生息し、たくさんの種類がいます。 日本だけでも800種もいます！ They live all over the world and there are many species. Even only in Japan, there are 800 species!  巨大化したら怪獣のデザインになりますね。 If it becomes huge, it will be a Kaiju design.  According to Wiki about Kaiju, "Kaiju ("strange beast") is a Japanese genre of films and television featuring giant monsters. The term kaiju can refer to the giant monsters themselves, which are usually depicted attacking major cities and engaging the military, or other kaiju, in battle. The kaiju genre is a subgenre of tokusatsu (特撮, "special filming") entertainment." |

| 紫陽花？ 抑え気味な植栽ですが個性を感じます。 好きなセンスです。 Hydrangea? Although it is a slightly restrained planting, I feel its individuality. It's my favourite sense.  山頂に生えている一本の木のように感じます。 It feels like a tree growing on the mountaintop.  |

| 七里ヶ浜の海 ('桜のプロムナード'から） 道の先に七里ヶ浜の海が見えます。 今日は海には行かないと決めていたので、撮影だけしました。 Sea of Shichirigahama (From Cherry Tree Promenade : 'Sakura -no-Promenade') You can see the sea of Shichirigahama at the end of the road. I decided not to go to the sea today, so I just photographed. |

| ルリマツリ 私は、ルリマツリ (瑠璃茉莉) だと思いますが 違うのかもしれません。 ルリマツリには、アオマツリ、プルンバゴ、ブルームーン という別名があります。 南アフリカ原産。 Plumbago I think it's Plumbago Auriculata, but it may be different. Plumbago auriculata has other names such as Cape Leadwort, Blue Plumbago, Cape Plumbago and Blue Moon. Native to South Africa. |

| マルハナバチ マルハナバチ(丸花蜂) は英国で知ったので、 "バンブル・ビー"と覚えました。 なので、日本で見ても"バンブル・ビー"という名前が "マルハナバチ"という言葉より先に出てきてしまいます。 和名も英名もハチの形も好きです。 Bumble Bee Bumble Bee is called Maruhana-bachi in Japanese which means 'round flower bee'. I knew this as Bumble Bee in Britain, so I remember it as Bumble Bee. So, even in Japan, the name "Bumble Bee" comes out before the word "Maruhana-bachi". I like the Japanese name, the English name, and the Bee shape.  |

| フヨウ フヨウ (芙蓉)は幼い頃からよく見ていた花ですが、 '一日花' と知ったのはここ数年でした。 フヨウが、英語ではハイビスカス (Hibiscus)と呼ばれる と知った時は驚きました。 フヨウとハイビスカスが同じ花だとは、 にわかには信じられませんでした。 今もって、違和感があります(苦笑)。 Hibiscus but it was only in the last few years that I found out that it is a 'One-day Flower'.  一日の間で花の色が変化することは今回知りました。 I found out this time that the colour of flowers changes during the day. |

| ブーゲンビリアとツタの家 ブーゲンビリアとツタ (蔦、地錦) に覆われている家。 小説か、絵本の世界にあるように思われて仕方ありません。 Bougainvillea and Ivy House A house covered with Bougainvillea and Japanese Ivy. I can't help but think that it is in the world of novels or picture books.  |

花は落ちても綺麗です。 でもちょっと悲しい美しさです。 The flowers are beautiful even when they fall. But it's a little sad beauty. |

七里ガ浜住宅街の花々や庭は公道から見ることができて、歩くことが楽しいです。

The flowers and gardens of the Shichirigahama residential area can be seen from the public road, and it is fun to walk.
