夫R、私、私の姉Y、姉の友人Kさんは、2つの個展 [日本橋馬喰町 (ニホンバシバクロチョウ) と銀座で開催] を見て、しばらく、'銀ブラ' をしました。
'銀ブラ'という言葉は、近頃使用されないような気がしますが、どうなのでしょうか？ Ginza Stroll
The four of us : my husband R, myself, my sister Y, and her friend K visited two exhibitions in Nihonbashi Bakurochō, Tokyo and Ginza, and then we strolled in Ginza for a while.
2つの個展については下記。/ About Two Exhibitions, below.
12月に入っていたので、多くのお店では、クリスマス・ディスプレイがされていました。
Since it was already December, many shops had Christmas displays set up.
2) 銀座ライオン / Ginza Lion
A. 日本で最古のビアホール

喉も乾いたし、小腹も空きました。
銀座はたくさんお店があり、迷います。
私達は、観光も兼ねて、銀座ライオン；"ビアホール・ライオン" に入ることにしました。
"ビアホール・ライオン" は、銀座ライオンビルの1階にあり、現存する日本最古のビアホールです。

Oldest Beer Hall in Japan
We were thirsty and hungry.
There are so many shops in Ginza that it's hard to decide where to go.
We decided to go into Ginza Lion ; "Beer Hall Lion" to do some sightseeing as well.
"Beer Hall Lion" is located on the ground floor of the Ginza Lion Building and is the oldest surviving beer hall in Japan.

"店内には大小12のガラスモザイクが配置されています。
モザイクの下絵は菅原が描き、制作も指導しました。
モザイクに使われている色ガラスは、ガラス工芸家大塚喜蔵 (1890 - 1968) が作り上げました。(資料:★) 菅原の色に対する注文は厳しく、何度となく作り直しをし、合格した250色余りが採用。
現在もビヤホールライオン銀座七丁目店として営業しており、店内は建築当時の雰囲気をそのまま今日に伝えています。"

According to their website,
"There are 12 glass mosaics of various sizes inside.
Sugawara drew the designs for the mosaics and also supervised their production.
The coloured glass used in the mosaics was created by glass artist Otsuka Kizo (1890 - 1968).
Sugawara's specifications were strict, and the colours were redone countless times before over 250 colours were approved and adopted.
The hall is still in business today as Beer Hall Lion Ginza 7-Chome, and the interior conveys the same atmosphere as when it was first built."

ビールに合う食べ物には、多くの場合、Rにアレルギーがある、玉ねぎ、ニンニク類が含まれています。
また、彼には好き嫌いが多くあり、注文した品の3分の1ほどしか食べられませんでした。
まあ、彼はビールが大好きなので、彼なりに楽しんだとは思います。
女性陣は、ビールも食事も全て楽しみました。
特にKさんは「こんなところ (ビアホール、パブなど) に来たのは初めて」だったそうで、とても喜ばれていました。

Foods that go well with beer often contain onions and garlic, to which R is allergic.
He also has a lot of likes and dislikes, so he was only able to eat about a third of the food we ordered.
But he loves beer, so I think he enjoyed it in his own way.
The women all enjoyed both the beer and the food.
K in particular said that it was her first time coming to a place like this (a beer hall, pub, etc.), and was very pleased.

3) 銀座の光 / Lights in Ginza
ビアホールを出た時には、すっかり暗くなっていて、そこには、光に彩られた銀座の街がありました。
私達4人は、夜の街を、それも夜の銀座を歩くことは稀なので、イルミネーションで飾られた街を物珍しく、楽しく見ました。

We walked along Ginza Street towards Shinbashi Station.

Lights in Ginza
It was completely dark when we left the beer hall, and we found the streets of Ginza decked out in lights.
It's rare for the four of us to walk around a city at night, especially Ginza at night, so it was an unusual sight to see the streets decorated with illuminations.

デザインを変えて販売しています。
私は、その雪の結晶を長い間集めています。

Every year, Swarovski sells a new design of snowflake Christmas ornaments.
I've been collecting these snowflakes for a long time.
