夫R、私、私の姉Y、姉の友人Kさんの4人で、日本橋馬喰町 (ニホンバシバクロチョウ) で開催されていた私の友人の個展を見て、銀座へ移動しました。

日本橋馬喰町での個展については下記。

銀座では、鎌倉山のご近所さんの瀬川 智貴 (セガワトモタカ/ 1960 ~)さんの個展が開催されていたからです。

瀬川さんのサイト: ★

Rが、鎌倉で開催された彼の個展へゆき、瀬川さんに会い、私達が近所であることを知りました。

私もYもKも、彼の個展へ行ったのも、彼の作品を見るのも初めてでした。

Kさんは、気に入ったお花の絵を、見つけましたが、すでにどなたかが購入されていました。

会場の写真撮影は許されていたのかもしれませんが、

私は撮影しませんでした。

My husband R, myself, my sister Y, and her friend K, the four of us visited my friend's exhibition held in Nihonbashi Bakurochō, Tokyo and then we moved to Ginza, Tokyo.

Because in Ginza, a exhibition was being held by our neighbour from Kamakurayama, Segawa Tomotaka.

His website : ★ only in Japanese

R had visited his  exhibition in Kamakura, met Segawa (1960 ~), and knew that we were neighbours.

This was the first time for Y, K and myself visiting his exhibition and seeing his works.

K found a painting of a flower that she liked, but someone had already bought it.

パンフレット/ Leaflet

片岡 球子(カタオカタマコ/ 1905 -2008) を思わせる力強い画風でした。

今回の個展のテーマが、"うねりずむ" (彼の造語？) であり、それを直球で表現されていると感じました。

お人柄の豪快さと潔さが感じられました。

会場で、彼に会えて嬉しかったです。

His powerful style reminds me of Kataoka Tamako (1905-2008).

The theme of this exhibition was "Unerizumu" (a word he may have coined?), and I felt that he expressed it straightforwardly.

(In Japanese, 'Uneri' means undulations and 'rizumu' means rhythm.)

I could sense the boldness and graciousness of his personality.

I was glad to meet him in the venue.
