㉚Worthing Trip - Beach House Park, 28th of July

海辺沿いの主要道路に、
'ビーチ•ハウス•パーク/ Beach House Park'
はあり, 1924年にオープンされました。
Beach House Park' is on a main road along the beach.
It was opened in 1924.

1) 庭 / Garden

特別に有名な庭ではありませんが、よく整備されています。

It is not a famous garden, although it is looked after well.

海があまりにも近いので、人々はくつろぐ時に
海に行きがちで、ここはあまり使用されないのかもしれません。
犬の散歩には使用される(トイレ使用もかねて？）ようですが...

Here is too close to the seaside, so when people  want to relax,
they are likely to go to the beach, so here might not be used often.
However, they use here when they walk with their dogs,
(for the toilet?). 

公園の真ん中に軍鳩 (グンキュウ）を
忍ぶための緑の島があります。

There is a green island for "Warrior Birds".

2) ボウルズ / Bowls

テニスコートやガーデンがありますが、ここの特色は
ボウルズ/ Bowls : ローンボールズのスペースがあることだと思いました。

There are tennis courts, gardens, although I think the feature here is they have space for 'Bowls': Bowling Greens.

3) 建物と花 / Building and Flowers 

英国は花への感心が高い！
There is deep interest in flowers in Britain!

あふれるような飾り付けが似合う
日本で同様の飾り付けはやり過ぎに感じられるのではと思います。

There is an overflowing display of flowers which suits here.
I think if the display were in Japan, it would feel overdone.

Around Pier 

左に見えるのが桟橋
You can see a pier in the left of this photograph.

出店はお祭りらしい雰囲気を作ります。

These shops make a festival atmosphere.

Travelling Fair 

見ているだけで楽しい気分になります。
Just looking at them gives me a fun feeling!

In Front of the Pier

以前も説明しましたが、再び。
両端に人が乗り、くるくる回ります。
床部分はないので、足はぶらぶら状態。
片端の人が乗り換える時は、もう一方は頂上で留まりっぱなし！
見ているだけでも、こわーい！

I wrote about this, although it is here again.
Both ends have people and then it goes around and around.
It does not have floors, so people's legs are free.
When one end is changed
the other end is stopped at the top.
Just looking makes me scare~!

夕方になるとライトがつきます。
The lights come on in the evening.

桟橋と私達...とカモメ
Pier and Us...and Seagull 

桟橋 / Pier 

花火大会の日に一度来たのですが花火の準備のために
入場できませんでした。
この日にようやく中へ入れました。

We came here once for the firework display,
although it was closed while they prepared for the show.

釣りのために来る人もいるのですね〜。
Some people come here for their fishing.

㉘Worthing Trip - Beach, 28th of July

1) 引き潮 / Low Tide

ワージング/ Worthing の浜辺を歩く時は、いつも満ち潮時だったので、引き潮の浜辺は初めてでした。

When we walked along the beach in Worthing, it had always been at high tide, so today was the first time we saw it at low tide.

潮干狩り

まだらのカモメはまだ子供だと思います。
I think a speckled seagull is still a child.

2) 浜辺にも庭 / Gardens by the Beach

浜辺にも庭があり、英国がガーデン王国と言われる訳がわかります。

そしてその庭は、花壇といよりも、庭なんですね〜。

There are gardens beside the beach.

And also they are gardens, not flower beds.

古い碇をオヴジェとして使用
The Old Anchor is used as Objet

現代アートっぽい感じがするのは、私だけでしょうか？
Do only I feel that this is like contemporary art? 

周囲の風景と同化している庭
The garden assimilates with the surrounding scene.

これは庭といえるか疑問ですが...
定期的に水が出されます。

I wonder if this is a garden..., however...
water sprayed up regularly.

この男の子はそこで遊びたそう....
This boy seems to want to play there.

そしてまた、そのそばには椅子と合体型のチェスボード
Moreover, there is a chess board etched into the seat.

3)建物 / Building

ビーチ•ヒュッテ/ Beach hut (海の家？） のコンクリート版というところでしょうか？

ここで人々はシャワーを浴び、休憩もとれるのです。

Can I say that this is a stone beach hut?

ノスタルジックなデザインです。
This is a nostalgic design.
