北鎌倉の『ギャラリー花眠』で、"原画カレンダー展" が、この日から開催されました。

売上はユニセフに寄付されます。

昨年に引き続き、今回も私は参加させていただいています。

作品制作中心、会社勤めをしていない、基本的にグループ展には参加しない、コンクールには応募しないという生活は、社会性にかけるのではと感じています。

なので、このカレンダー展への参加は、私の小さな社会への貢献と思い、お声をかけていただくことに感謝しています。

"Gallery Kamin", Kita-Kamakura Kanagawa Prefecture held an Original Picture Calendar Exhibition which started from today.

Sales are donated to UNICEF.

Following last year, I was participating again this time.

I feel my life lacks social nature because my life centres on work creation, not working for a company, basically not participating in group exhibitions, and not taking part in competitions.

So I think that participating in this Original Pictures Calendar Exhibition is my small contribution to society, and I am grateful to be asked to take part in the Exhibition.

入り口で

ギャラリーへ入ってすぐ、あれっ、今年は、何か印象が違うと感じました。

レベルが上がった？

作品がプロの領域に思えました。

自分が参加している展覧会にこう感じるのはちょっとおこがましい気がしますが、

正直、そう感じたのです。

オーナーご夫妻にそのように伝えましたら、

幾人かの方がそのように話していたそうです。

Around Entrance

As soon as I entered the gallery, I felt that this year there was something different.

Was the standard higher?

The works seemed to be at professional level.

It feels a little presumptuous of me to feel like this in the exhibition I was participating in,

but honestly I felt like this.

When I told the owner couple my impression

they said a few other people commented like me.

私は、坪内 好子 (ツボウチ ヨシコ / 1966 -) さんの作品が大好きで、Rも私に影響されたのか、好きになってくれました。

この原画カレンダー展には、坪内さんの作品も含まれていますが、大人気で、すぐに売れてしまいます。

なので、この日、Rはギャラリーに一番に駆けつけ、坪内さんの作品を購入しました。

私と姉Yは、彼よりも2時間ほど遅れて、到着。

Rが購入した坪内さんの作品は、下の写真の左です。

私が購入したのは、遠藤 林子 (エンドウ リンコ)さんという方の作品で、偶然にも坪内さんの右隣に展示されていました。

さらに私の作品が坪内さんの下にありました。

I love Yoshiko Tsubouchi (1966-)'s works, and R also likes them, maybe he was influenced by me.

This Original Picture Calendar Exhibition included her works, and because her work is very popular would probably soon be sold.

So, on this day, R set off early to try to be first to the Gallery hoping he could buy her work.

I and my sister Y arrived about two hours later than him.

R bought her work, to the left of the photograph above and I bought the work of Rinko Endo, which as it happened was displayed to the right of Tsubouchi's work.

Moreover, one of my works was placed  below Tsubouchi's work.

"夢劇場"
ピンクの抽象画 (リトグラフ) : "夢劇場" は、私の作品。
3点出品して、これだけ売れなかったのです。
抽象作品は基本、売りづらいというのが今までの私の印象です。
現在、この作品は、カレンダーとして母の家に飾っています。

"Dream Theater"

Pink abstract painting (lithograph) : "Dream Theater" is my work.

Three of my works were there and this one did not sell.

It is my impression that basically abstract works are hard to sell.

Now this work is displayed, as a calendar, in my mother's house.
