鎌倉には、週末、祝日営業のカフェが他に比べて多くあるように思います。

"Weekend Cafe 美術室"も、その一つ。

住宅街の中にあり、看板が出ていなければ、一般住宅としか認知できません。

ここは、週末営業のみでなく、オープン時間も13:00 ~ 17:00と短い！

そんな条件でありながら、Rが見つけたカフェです。

彼はそういったカフェを見つけるのは、得意で、今までも数件見つけています。

"Weekend Cafe 美術室"では、靴を脱ぎます。

外観だけでなく、室内も一般住宅の在り方で、大きな窓ガラスで明るく、木のぬくもりが感じられるリラックスできる空間です。

オーナーご夫妻の接客がどんなお客さんも良い気持ちに導いてくださいます。

だからといって、おしゃべりというのでなく、穏やかで控えめで、お客さんの話を聞く姿勢です。

彼らの接客または会話の技術に、行くたびに、もしくはRの話を聞くたびに、私は驚嘆しています。

いつものように、Rの方が数多くのカフェに行き、このカフェの利用度も、私よりも多いです。

11月17日(土)~12月3日まで、奥様、桜木とし子さんの作品展 : 服袋展が開かれていました。

2,3年前に、ユーモアがあるブラウスやエプロンの作品展も開かれていますが、今回もユーモアが含まれた作品でいっぱいでした。

私はエプロンが欲しかったのですが、行くのが、遅すぎました。

自分が欲しいと思うものは、早く行かないときっと手に入らないとわかっていたのですは、私の足の指の骨折と個展準備で、最終日の3日に行くことになりました。

通常は週末のみですが、展覧会中は月曜日もカフェは営業していました。

There seems to be more cafés open only in weekends and holidays in Kamakura.

"Weekend Cafe Art Room" is one of them.

This is in a residential area and if there is no signboard, it just looks like a general house.

Not only do they open in weekends, but also the opening times are short : 13:00 to 17:00!

Despite such conditions, R is good at finding such cafes, and he has found several before.

In the "Weekend Cafe Art Room" we take off our shoes.

As well as the outside appearance, the room is also a general house style with large windows, so there is bright, it is a relaxing space where you can feel the warmth of wood.

The service of the owner couple will lead any customers to a good feeling.

That said, they are not chatters, but have a calm and discreet approach to listening to customers' stories.

Every time I go there, or I hear from R's talk about there, I am astonished by their customer (including us) services or conversation skills.

As always, R goes to many cafes, and he uses this cafe more than me.

They held an exhibition of the wife, Toshiko Sakuragi's work ; “The clothes bag (FUKU BUKURO) Exhibition” from 17th (Sat.) of November to 3rd (Mon.) of December.

She had an exhibition of humorous blouses and aprons a couple years ago, and this time they were also full of humorous works.

I wanted one of her aprons, although it was too late when we visited there.

I knew that I would not get what I wanted unless I got there early, however, I decided to go on the 3rd of December, the final day, because of my toe fracture and my preparations for my exhibition.

10月に痛めた足のつま先を12月にはじめに再び痛め、このカフェのあとで、ようやく病院へ行きました。

そこで、10月に骨折していたこと、12月のダメージは骨折には至っていないことを知りました。

I hurt my toe in October and hit it again in December, and after this cafe I finally went to the hospital.

So I knew that I had a fracture in October and that the damage in December did not lead to a fracture.
