4月の個展まで、日が迫ってきています。
今回は3月22日に、いつも額装を依頼している、'Warkers' さんに、リトグラフ作品を渡す予定です。
私はバスを使います。
我が家から最寄りのバス停前には、素敵な苔丸さんがあり、目を楽しませてくれます。

Kokemaru
My exhibition in April is coming up soon.
This time, on 22d of March, I plan to hand over the lithograph works to Warkers', who I always ask for the frames.
Until then, I go to the lithograph studio in Ōmachi, Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture.
I use the bus.
In front of the bus stop closest to my house, there is the lovely Kokemaru which alway delights my eyes.

| 定休日？ 今日は苔丸の定休日、火曜日です。 にもかかわらず、店先に植物がたくさん並んでいて驚きました。 さすが日本...、誰も盗まないのですね。 通常の定休日よりもたくさん出ているように感じました。 Regular Holiday? Today was Tuesday, the regular holiday of Kokemaru. Nevertheless, I was surprised to see many plants lined up in front of the shop. Indeed, here is Japan ...... no one steals. I felt that more was displayed than usual on regular holidays.  |
通常営業はお休みですが、フラワーアレンジメントの教室のようなものを開催しているのかもしれません。
お店には人またはスタッフがいて店番ができるので花を出しているのかもしれないと帰宅後思いました。
It is normally closed, but they may be holding something like a flower arrangement class.
After returning home, I thought that the shop showed flowers because there must have being people or staff who minded the shop.
b) 大町 / Ōmachi

| チヌーク 私が工房へ行く時間、大町の空を頻繁にヘリコプターが 飛んでいます。 今日は、珍しくチヌーク：CH-47 (航空機)でした。 我が家では毎日と言っていいほど、頻繁にチヌークを見ますが 大町で見たのは初めてでした。 Chinook Helicopters frequently fly over Ōmachi when I go to the studio. Today was a rare Chinook : Boeing CH-47 Chinook. I see Chinooks so often at home almost every day, but this is the first time I've seen it over Ōmachi. |

| ハナニラ 前回このハナニラを見た時は、花びらがほぼ白で、 縁だけうっすらと紫色でした。 今日は紫が濃くなっていました。 花壇の外側にも多くハナニラが咲いていました。 Spring Starflower The last time I saw these Spring Starflowers, the petals were almost white and only the edges were slightly purple. | 新しい版、製版後 私が好きな墨版は、絵柄が崩れやすいので、 一日に多くをすることができません。 個展までの日にちがあまりないので、 SK液 (アラビアガム液) による丈夫な製版法で 新しい版を作りました。 墨版は、製版した日に刷ることができませんが、 SK液の方法は刷ることができます。 (撮影、自宅のスタジオ・3月7日) New Plates Before Platemaking An ink plate by my favourite method is fragile, so I can not print many in a day. Since there are not many days until my exhibition, I made two new plates using a durable platemaking method using SK liquid (gum arabic liquid). An ink plate cannot be printed on the day of platemaking, but an SK liquid method plate can be printed. (Photograph, my studio at home, 7th of March) |

同じ版を使用し、モノクロの濃淡とブルー系の2つのバージョンを作っています。
Using the same plates, I make two versions, a monochrome shade and bluish colours.

| モノクロの濃淡 Monochrome Shades |
モノクロバージョンもブルーバージョンも、いつものように、
モノ作品への道を歩んでいます。
版画なのに、1点ものを作る矛盾を抱えつつ、その道を進みます
(苦笑)。

Both the monochrome version and the blue version are advancing to mono works as usual.
Even though they are prints, I am progressing with the contradiction of only making individual works (Wry Smile).

コトリは、私のお気に入りの文房具店で、神奈川県道311号鎌倉葉山線沿いにあります。
私がコトリを知ったのは、工房への途中にあったからでしたが、元は、鎌倉市立第一小学校や鎌倉女学院中学校・高等学校 : ★の近くにありました。
リトグラフのY先生から、時々版画の展示会などもしていたと聞きました。
単に文房を販売するだけでなく、オリジナルを作り出す基盤があるのを感じます。
小さなお店なのに、オリジナル商品がたくさんあり、驚きます。
オリジナル以外にもこの店のセンスで選ばれた商品もあり、それらも見ていて楽しいです。
最近、若い観光客らしい人々がお店に入るところをしばしば見かけます。
観光情報に取り上げられているのかもしれません。
もしかすると、2017年にTVドラマ化された、小説『ツバキ文具店』
の影響もあるのかもしれません。

| Kotori means 'small bird' in Japanese. |
Kotori
Kotori is my favourite stationery shop, located along the Kanagawa Prefectural Road 311 Kamakura Hayama Line.
I knew Kotori because the shop is on my way to the lithograph studio but it was originally near Kamakura City Daiichi Elementary School and Kamakura Jogakuin Junior and Senior High School : ★.
I heard from Y Sensei of the lithograph studio that there they sometimes held print exhibitions.
I feel that they have a foundation for creating originals, not just selling stationery.
Even though it is a small shop, there are many original products and
I am surprised.
In addition to the original products, there are also products selected by their taste, and it is fun to see them.
Recently, I often see young tourists entering there.
Kotori may be shown in tourist information.
Perhaps it is also influenced by the novel, "Tsubaki Stationery Shop" :
["La papeterie Tsubaki" by Ito Ogawa (1973 ~) 2016 / GentoshaBook Design : Naoko Nakui (1976 ~) Illustration : Shun Shun (? ~)]
which was dramatized in 2017.

| 購入品 目的は友人のお誕生日の手ぬぐいでした。 友人は小鳥をペットとして飼っているので、 この手ぬぐいを選びました。 Purchased Items My purpose was to buy a towel : Tenugui for my friend's birthday. The friend keeps small birds as her pets, so I chose this tenugui. |
b) シジュウカラ / Great Tit
コトリに寄り工房へ向かいました。
道を歩いているときに、鳥の声が鳴り響き、見上げるとシジュウカラ(おそらく)が鳴いていました。
30秒ほどビデオに撮影しましたが、ここには9秒にした動画を載せます。

I stopped by Kotori and headed to the studio.
As I was walking down the road, I heard a birdsong, and when I looked up, a great tit (probably) was singing.
I shot the video for about 30 seconds, but here I put the video for 9 seconds.

| 試刷り 上：青版をイメージして作った版でしたが、黄色ですることを突然 思いつき、前回の試刷りの紙に刷りました。 この試刷りを見て、やはり青で刷ることにしました。 中：前回の試刷りに今回の版を刷りました。 下：今回の版。 Test Prints Top : I made the plate with the image of a blue plate, but suddenly I came up with the idea that it could be yellow. I printed it on the last test print paper. After seeing this test print, I decided to only print it in blue. Middle : I printed this plate on a previous test print. Bottom : Only this plate |
