N夫妻がいらした時、Rが買い物に出ていて
彼が会えなかったのが残念でした。
ですが、私だけでも在宅していてよかったです。

Many the love of N Family is overflowing.
It was such a pity that R was out shopping and couldn't meet
when Mr. and Mrs. N visited.
However, I'm pleased even only I was at home.

焼き立てパン
今朝の焼き立てのパンがその日に届きました。
日本の配達ってすごい！
姉Yの朝の散歩ルートに人気のパン屋さん :
 'ブランジェリー / Boulangerie'
があります。
そこのパンをパン好きなRに送ってくれました。
これはYからRへのお誕生日プレゼント第1段！

Freshly Baked Bread

This morning's freshly baked bread arrived today.

Delivery in Japan is amazing!

There is a popular bakery  : 'Boulangerie'

on the morning walk route of my sister Y.

She sent the bread here to R, who loves bread.

This is the first stage of a birthday present from Y to R!

の時に制作したポストカードの1つです。
ハローウィンの起源がケルトにあるのでケルトを
イメージして描きました。
背景の丘 (塚) にはストーンサークルがあり、
そこで儀式が行われるという設定です。
Rは今の作品よりも好きだというので、私は複雑な気持ちです。

Card of My Work

Y wrote a description of her gift on this card.

When I had my first exhibition :Coonie's Halloween,

this was one of the postcards I created.

Since the origin of Halloween is Celtic,

 I painted this with the image of Celtic ideas.

The setting is a mound (hill) with a stone circle on top,

where rituals are held.

R said he likes this more than my current works,

so I have mixed feelings.

手作りの梅酒と梅ジュース。
'マリアージュ'のアールグレイ・ティです。
梅酒もアールグレイも彼の好物です。
Rは、氷を入れて梅ジュースを飲みました。
美味しかったそうです。

Homemade Ume-shu (Ume Sake) and Ume juice.

This is Earl Gray Tea from 'MARIAGE'.

Both Ume-shu (Ume Sake) and Earl Gray are his favorites.

R put ice and drank Ume juice.

He said it was lovely.

20日に立派な葡萄が届きました。
Rが好きな、種無しで皮も食べられる葡萄(ブドウ)がたくさん！
とっても甘かったです。

 Gorgeous Grapes

Gorgeous grapes arrived on the 20th.

Lots of grapes that R loves, without seeds, 

as well as we can eat the skin.

They are very sweet.

クーラーの内部掃除を "猫の手" のTさんにお願いしました。

掃除後に、Tさんにがウクレレで、ミニライヴを披露してくださいました。

びっくり嬉しいライブでした。

Tさんには沖縄出身なので沖縄民謡を歌ってくれました。

なかなか外出もできないし、こんな機会でもないと生で楽器の音を聞くことはできません。

Tさんには今月が、夫Rの誕生日月であることは知りませんが、私にはRへのプレゼントに思えました。

後で、お誕生日の歌をリクエストすればよかったと後悔...。

3曲、歌って演奏してくださったのですが、このブログに1曲しかアップできません。

他の2曲は、1分50秒と3分20秒の短い動画なのに、'ファイルが大きい' と表示されてここに載せられません。(解決方法がわかません)

最後の1曲は、"島唄"(3分20秒)でした。

残念ですが1曲だけでもアップできて本当によかったです。

Tさんは、

「次は三線 (サンシン)で演奏します」

とおしゃってくださいました。

楽しみです！

とても楽しいひとときでした。

Tさん、どうもありがとうございました！

Ukulele Live

I asked T San of "Cat's Hand" to clean the inside of the air-conditioners.

After cleaning, T San performed a mini-live with his ukulele.

It was a surprise happy live performance.

T San is from Okinawa, so he sang Okinawan folk songs.

It's hard to go out, and we can't hear the sound of an instrument live without such an opportunity.

T San doesn't know that this month is my husband R's birthday month, but it seemed to me as a gift for R.

Later, I regret that I should have requested the birthday song for R.

He sang and played three songs, but I can only upload one to this blog.

The other two songs are short videos of 1 minute 50 seconds and 3 minutes 20 seconds, but they are displayed as 'Large File' and cannot be placed here. (I don't know the solution)

The last song was "Shima Uta" which is a 1992 song by the Japanese band The Boom. (3 minutes 20 seconds)

It's a pity, but I'm really glad that I could upload even only one song.

He said "I would play the Sanshin next time". 

We are looking forward to it!

甘党ではない私は、その1つからお福分けしてもらいいています。

今日、Rは私の磁器作品：丸皿の '梅' をお皿に選びました。

Fun Daily Routine

My husband R eats the sweets he was given 

by our friend Izu, one a day.

I'm not a sweet tooth, so I have a bite as happiness share with him.

 For the plate, today, R chose my porcelain work, round dish 'Ume'.

2) 新しい電気と月 / New Light and Moon

2階の電気の1つがつかなくなって2ヶ月以上たって、ようやく新しい電気がつくようになりました。

当初電球が切れたのかと思い新しい電球購入を考えました。

そのための外出の機会を長らく得られずにいて、ようやく購入し設置しても電気はつきませんでした。

結局電気屋さんにきてもらいチェックしたら、本体が故障していることがわかりました。

古い電気は設置後15年以上経っているので、寿命ですし、家の中の配線に問題がないことがわかり、ほっとしました。

その後は、電気はネット購入し、設置したので2,3日で完了！

新しい電気は、蛍光色と電球色が選べ、明るさの強度も選べ、リモコンもあります。

リモコンに懐中電灯の機能がついていることをしった時は本当に驚きました。

15年の進歩はすごいな〜と思いつつ電気の光を眺めました。

天井の電気に興味を持っていたら、頭上に興味が続いていたらしく、月の撮影ができました。

最近月の撮影をしていなかったことに気がつきました。

New Light and Moon

It's been more than two months since one of the lights on the first floor stopped working, and finally a new light appears.

At first we thought that the light bulb had burned out and so would buy a new light bulb.

We didn't have the opportunity to go out for a long time, and even when we finally bought and installed it, the light still couldn't work.

After all, when I asked an electrician to come and check it, we found that the main fitting was out of order.

It's been over 15 years since the old fitting was installed, so I was relieved to find that the light unit has reached the end of its life and that there are no problems with the wiring inside the house.

After that, we bought a light fitting online and installed it, so it took only a few days!

The new light fits tings ting has a remote control, and we can select the light colour from white to warm and can select the intensity of brightness.

I was really surprised when I found that the remote control also has an electric torch function.

I looked at the new light fitting, thinking that the progress of 15 years was amazing.

I was interested in the new round light fitting on the ceiling on the day, it seemed that I was still interested in looking overhead, and I took photographs of the moon.

I noticed that recently I hadn't been photographing the moon.

電球色の暖色も蛍光色の青白い光もつきます。

The new light has both warm colour and white.

蓋の中は小さな電球(?)がたくさんついていて、
従来の輪型の電球(蛍光灯)とは違っています。
それは円盤型のUFOを彷彿させました。
撮影し忘れてしまったのが残念です。

There are many small light bulbs (?) inside the fitting, 

which is different from the conventional ring-shaped light bulbs

 (fluorescent lamps).

It reminded me of a disk-shaped UFO.

 I forgot to photograph the inside, that's too bad.

窓から外を見ると月が出ていました。

約3ヶ月ぶりにスコーンを作りました。

9月が夫Rのお誕生日月のせいか、お菓子が我が家に集まっています。

ですが私もRのためにお菓子作りの材料を揃えていたのです。

他のお菓子と重ならないように、スコーンを作りました。

Scones

I made scones for the first time in about 3 months.

Maybe because September is my husband R's birthday month, sweets are gathering at my house.

However, I also had the ingredients for making sweets for R.

I made scones so that they wouldn't overlap with other sweets.

2種類
Rのリクエストでプレーンのスコーンと
ドライフルーツとチョコチップ入りのスコーンを作りました。

2 Types
At R's request, I made plain scones and
scones with dried fruits and chocolate chips.

食器のテーストがバラバラです。
スコーンのお皿はウェッジウッドの 'オズボーン'、
小皿は私の磁器作品です。
マグは、'ヘレフォード図'柄で
2019年ヘレフォード大聖堂で購入しました。

The taste of tableware is incoherent.

The scone plates are Wedgwood's 'Osborne', 

and the small dishes are my porcelain works.

We bought the mug with 'Hereford Mappa Mundi' pattern 

at Hereford Cathedral in 2019.

私からRへのプレゼントもほぼネット注文で、食べるものか飲むものです。

今日は、チョコレートの他にクラフトビールも届きました。

Rは母国の英国へ1年半帰ることができません。

英国が恋しいのではと察します。

恋しい気持ちが消えるように、少なくとも緩和するように、彼を甘いものとお酒に浸しています(笑)。

彼が溺れない程度にしないとね？(笑)

We can't eat out, so I order various things online.

Most of the gifts I give to R are online orders which are for eating or drinking.

Today, in addition to chocolate, craft beer arrived.

R has not returned to his home country, Britain, for a year and a half.

I feel he misses Britain.

I'm soaking him in sweets and alcohol (laugh) so that his missing would disappear, or at least reduce.

I try to do this way without drowning him. (Laugh)

箱には3種類のクラフトビールが入っていました。
ラベルの感じがスコットランドを思わせます。

The box contained three types of craft beer.
The labels reminded me of Scotland.

'ヌマズラガー'
'ヌマズラガー' を開けました。
ベルギービールを彷彿させる味に感じました。

 'Numazu Lagger'
We opened 'Numazu Lagger'.
I felt the taste was reminiscent of Belgian beer.
