朝井閑右衛門邸は、通常中を見ることができないので、良い機会だと思い、出席させていただきました。
また、中国お茶会というのに出席するのも初めてのことでしたので、興味津々！
The lady instructor held an event : Chinese Tea Ceremony (❸) in a house of a painter, Kanuemon Asai (1901 ~ 1983).
Normally people cannot look inside the house, so it was a good chance for me and then I joined with the ceremony.

| 朝井閑右衛門邸 玄関前 (❶でも使用した写真ですが....) Here is in front of entrance to Kanuemon Asai's house. I used this in ❶ section, too... 和風ホビットの家かと思わせるほど玄関への導入部分の屋根が 低く作られています。 ですが、朝井氏が『ホビットの冒険』(1937 / J.R.R. トールキン, 1892 - 1973)や 『指輪物語』(1937 - 1949 / J.J.R. トールキン)を読んでいたとも思えませんし、 ファンであるとも思えません。 これは茶室にはいるときに躙口( ニジリグチ）で、 頭を低くし、謙虚な姿勢を保つ思想から来るのでしょうか？ 下記は'茶室へのいざない'のwebsite：★より抜粋

躙口（にじりぐち）から入ったら、立場を捨て、
無垢なありのままの姿になれということなんです。
それを、何をいわずとも、空間の所作によって教える、
それが究極の空間といわれる所以です。
創作活動をするときにつうずるものがここにはあるように感じます。 まあ、すべて私の推測ですので、朝井氏の思想は私にはわかりません。 偶然にもと言いましょうか、私がこの家に入る理由は 中国式ではありますが、お茶会 (❸) なんですね。 そして私達、参加者は低い屋根を避けて頭をあげたまま進みます。(笑) |

| The roof of the approach to the entrance is very low which made me think here is a Japanese Hobbit House. However, I do not think Asai had read "The Hobbit" (1937 / J.R.R. Tolkien, 1892 - 1973) or "The Lord of the Rings"(1937 - 1949 /J.R.R. Tolkien) and also he was not a fan for them either. The low roof might come from Chashitsu's entrance. 'Chashitsu' is a Japanese architectural space designed to be used for tea ceremony and then the entrance : 'Nijiriguchi' is very low and small, while we bow lower as we are going into the room this suggests to us that we should be modest in a Japanese Tea Ceremony. According to : 'Cashitsu e-no Izanai : Invitation to Chashitsu: Tea Ceremony Room' which comes from a website ★ only in Japanese, I try to translate but I am not sure... "Whoever lowers their heads and prostrates themselves when they go into Chashitsu, then this way lets us at once forget ourselves, we just become humans and stand face to face with each other. They say Chashitsu is a microcosm or in the womb of a mother. If you go through the entrance : 'Nigiriguchi', you should forget your position in society, you should be innocent and the real you would be in the room. Nobody tells you these by speaking, the space teaches you. Therefore the space is called 'Ultimate Space'." I think creative acts need similar minds. Well, my thoughts are just guessing, I do not know Asai's ideas. I might say this was by chance that I went into the house and his studio for the tea ceremony, though it was Chinese style (❸). In addition, the participants avoided the roof, we did not make our heads so low. (laugh) |

| できるだけ、朝井氏が生存されていた時のままを保たれている様子でした。 赤い帽子が私には印象的。 お茶でも飲みに席を立たれていらっしゃる風ではありますが、 それとは違う、空虚感や人肌のなさがそこにはありました。 少なくとも私にはそう感じられました。 こういう場所は不思議な空間があります。 これは私が画伯が既にいらっしゃらないと知っているので 思ってしまうことなのかもしれません。 There seems to have kept his studio as near as possible to how it was when Asai was alive. The red cap was impressive for me. I think they would make here feel "as if he just left here for a cup of tea", however, there actually felt empty and without a warm atmosphere. At least I felt like this. There are subtle differences in places like this. This feeling might be because I know the painter is not here.  維持してゆく方も大変ですね。 画材や道具に、ほこりなどなく、奇麗に保たれています。 I feel the keepers hard work. There are art materials and goods which do not have dust. |
