1月14日雪〜！／Snow~~! 14th of January

雪の日！/ Snow Day!

外出したときは、こんな感じの雪。
When I left, the snow was like this.

鎌倉駅周辺に用事があり、どうしても外出しなければなりませんでした。

I had things to do around Kamakura Station so out I went.

行きはタクシーを使用しましたが、帰りはタクシー会社に電話してもつながらず、歩いて帰る決心をしました。

けれども、バスが運行していて助かりました〜！

そして〜〜、バス代が無料！！感動！

When I went out I used a taxi.

Although when I would return, taxis were not running, so I decided to walk.

However, buses were still running, it was very helpful for me and other people.

Moreover, they were free! !

I was so impressed!

鎌倉宮のバス停につくと、美しい景色に興奮しました。
杖をもって、傘をもって書類バックをもって、
ハンドバッグをもって、とても大変でしたが、
それにもかかわらず、
立ち止まって何度もカメラのシャッターを切りました。

When I got back to Kamakura-Gu Bus Stop,
the view was very beautiful and I was wildly excited!
I had a stick, an umbrella, a carrier bag and my handbag,
so taking photos was extremely difficult.
However, I took many!

Finally I made it home!

1月4日 / 4th of January

賃貸物件が決まりつつあり、不動産会社に話し合いに行きました。

いつものように、その前にランチです(笑)

We went to a real estate company for negotiations of our new house.

Before it, we had lunch as usual. (laugh)

ソンベカフェ / Sông BÈ CAFE

Rのために、メニューにない料理を作ってもらいました。
Rが食べられない食材をのぞいています。感謝！

This is not on their menu.
R cannot eat a few ingredients, so they made this for him.
Thank you very much!

私はチキンのフォーをいただきました。
I had 'Chicken Pho'.

不動産の話のあとは、八幡様の境内を通って家に帰りました。
We walked along Tsurugaoka Hachiman after the meeting.

According to Wikipedia about Sando
A sandō (参道 visiting road^?) in Japanese architecture is
the road approaching either a Shinto shrine or
a Buddhist temple.

ここで、八幡様にご挨拶。
八幡様の階段を恐れて、八幡様までは行きません。
軟弱者です。

I made my greeting here.
We did not go the main shrine, because it has many steps.
We are weak.

日頃よりもずっと混んでいましたし、屋台もたくさん出ていました。

It was much more crowded than usual and also there were many more mobile shops.

これがあるとお祭り気分？

Festival feeling?
When I look at this mobile shop which sells apples
coated with sugar, I feel here is a festival.

源氏池
最近、江ノ島が弁財天の神様を祭っていると知りました。
源氏池のこの神社には何度も足を運んでいたのに、
ここも弁財天を祭っているということに、
初めて気がつきました。

Genji Pond
Recently I knew people deify Benzaiten in Enoshima Island.
It was the first time that I realized this shrine is for Benzaiten, too,
even though I have been here many times.

鴨にえさを与えてます。
People feeding ducks.

たくさんの食べ物の屋台にRは驚いていました。

ここも『千と千尋の神隠し』(2001)を思い出すと言っていました。
(江ノ島でも何度か感じたことでした）

そういえば、最近の私のブログも食べ物のことばかり........。

There were so many food stalls and R was surprised.

He said here reminded him of "Spirited Away" (2001), too.
(A few times we felt an atmosphere of "Spirited Away" in Enoshima Island.)

Well I write mostly about food in my blog......

今年はおせち料理の品数も量も減らしました。
こじんまりしてます....。

This year I made less Osechi Ryori : New Year Meal
in amount and number.
They are small.....

ありがとうございます！
今年もN 家から素敵なお菓子をいただきました。
次から次から、かわいらしいお菓子が出て来ます。

Thank you very much!
N family gave us Lovely Sweet Box, this year too.
Out come tiny beautiful sweets one after another.
