1) 4月21日庭の風景

Garden Views, 21st of April

オダマキ
3つのオダマキの苗を買い、2つは鉢に植え、
これだけ地植えにしました。
無事に咲いてくれたのでほっとしています。

Aquilegia
We bought three Aquilegia (Columbine) seedlings and
planted two in pots, and planted only this in the ground.
I am relieved that this bloomed safely.

'おばあちゃんのボンネット'
英語の別名が、'おばあちゃんのボンネット'と知ってから
花をよく見るようになりました。
これが一番、'おばあちゃんのボンネット' に似ています。

'Granny's Bonnet'
After finding another name in English, 'Granny's Bonnet',
I started to look at the flowers carefully.
This is the most similar to 'Granny's Bonnet' I have seen so far.

ネモフィラ
別名 : ベビーブルーアイズ
和名：ルリカラクサ (瑠璃唐草）
2つ、地植えにした苗のうち、これだけが
元気に花を咲かせています。
'ネモフィラ’よりも、'ベビーブルーアイズ' の名前が
私は好きです。

Nemophila
Also known as : Baby Blue Eyes
Japanese name : Ruri-karakusa ; Lapis Lazuli Arabesque
Of the two seedlings planted in the ground,
only this one is in full bloom.
I like the name 'Baby Blue Eyes' rather than 'Nemophila'.

たくさんの名前
ロベリア、ルリミゾカクシ(瑠璃溝隠)、
ルリチョウソウ (瑠璃蝶草）ルリチョウチョウ (瑠璃蝶々)
とたくさんの名前があります。
植えてから長い間、葉だけでしたが、最近ようやく咲きました。

Many Names

This has many names, Lobelia Erinus, Edging Lobelia,

Garden Lobelia or Trailing Lobelia.

For a long time after planting, it was only leaves,

but recently it has finally bloomed.

紫蘭
紫蘭 (シラン) が年々増えて行きます。
今年は特別元気が良く、嬉しいです。　

Bletilla Striata
Bletilla Striata is increasing year by year.
I am very happy this year because they are very energetic.

ルドベキア
植えた後に花の名前を忘れてしまいました。
花が咲いても名前を知らないままでした。
ここまで咲き、ルドベキアだと
思うようになりました。
しっかり咲いて心強いです。

Rudbeckia

I forgot the name of the flower after planting it.

Even when the flowers bloomed, I didn't know the name.

It has bloomed until now and

I have come to think that it is Rudbeckia.

This blooms well and I feel reassured.

イベリス
昨年、鉢植えから地植えに移しました。
元気に咲いてくれ、安心しました。

Iberis : Candytuft
Last year, this was moved from a pot to the ground.
I was relieved that it has bloomed well.

ウツギ
ウツギは二年前に鉢植えから地植えにしました。
昨年はその存在さえもわからなかったのですが、
今年は白い綺麗な花をさかせ、私を驚かせました。

Deutzia Crenata
Deutzia Crenata was changed from potted plant
to ground plant two years ago.

Last year I didn't even know its existence,

but this year I was surprised by the beautiful white flowers.

ペチュニア
ゆっくりゆっくり育ち、徐々に徐々に花を咲かせています。

Petunia
It grows slowly and slowly, and gradually blooms.

モミジバ・ゼラニウム
1つの鉢に2つの "モミジバ・ゼラニウム"が
植えられて窮屈そうでした。
Rが1つ1つの鉢に植え替え、小枝を補助棒にしました。

Maple Leaf Geranium

Two Maple Leaf Geranium were planted in one pot and

they seemed to be cramped.

R replanted one in each pot and used the twigs as auxiliary support.

モミジバ・ゼラニウム
こちらのモミジバ・ゼラニウムは、当初から1つの鉢に
1つ植えられていました。
葉を楽しむタイプの植物ですが、花もたくさん咲かせ、
びっくりしています。
植えた年は、1つか2つの花が咲いた程度で喜んでいました。
あの時にはこんなに花を咲かせるようになるとは
思っても見ませんでした。

Maple Leaf Geranium

This Maple Leaf Geranium has been planted in one pot

from the beginning.

Maple Leaf Geranium is a type of plant

enjoyed for the leaves,

but I'm surprised that many flowers bloom.

In the year I planted it, I was happy that one or two flowers bloomed.

At that time, I didn't expect this to bloom so much.

二番目のミモザ
1番目のミモザは、私の背丈ほどに大きく育ちましたが
突然枯れてしまいました。
好きな植物なので、再び育ています。

Second Mimosa

The first Mimosa grew up to my height,

but suddenly withered.

It's my favourite plant, so I try to grow one again.

2) 4月22日花 / Flowers, 22nd of April

A. モッコウバラ / Lady Banks' Rose

モッコウバラは、今年は、今までで一番元気に咲いています。
ようやく普通に咲いてくれたと言えるのかもしれません。

Lady Banks' Rose is in full bloom this year.
It may be said that it finally bloomed normally.

ブログにも何度もモッコウバラの写真を載せています。

many times on my blog.

B. 淑女を作る / Make Ladies

舞台の上の淑女達
今日のフラワーアレンジメントは、
舞台で淑女達が劇をしているように感じます。

Ladies on Stage
I feel that today's flower arrangements are
like ladies performing on a stage.

3) 4月23日フルーツサラダ

Fruit Salad, 23rd of April

宝探し
Rは、しばしばフルーツサラダを作ります。
最近は、私がタイトルをつけています。

Treasure Hunt
R often makes fruit salad.
Recently, I have given titles.

4) 4月25日ミニ水槽

Mini Aquarium, 25th of April

A. ミニ水槽 / Mini Aquarium

ミニ水槽登場！
この日、透明な丸い容器があることを思い出しました。
最初はハイドロカルチャーの容器でした。
残念ながらハイドロカルチャーの植物は枯れてしまいました。
空き瓶好きな私は、この容器も捨てることができませんでした。

Mini Aquarium Appears!

On this day, I remembered that

there is a transparent round container.

Originally this was a hydroculture container.

Unfortunately, the hydroculture plant had died.

As an empty bottle lover, I couldn't throw away this container either.

水の中を見ると小さくても、別世界がそこに見えます。

If I look in the water, I can see another world there,
even if it is small.

睡蓮を彷彿させます。
It is reminiscent of water lilies.

B. 勢揃い / Assemble in Full Force

勢揃い
全てのフラワーアレンジメントを集めて撮影しました。
その後、家の各コーナーへ移します。
