| ウィットビー / Whitby は海辺の町ですが、ここは少し奥に入っています。 B&B : Bed and Breakfast (宿泊と朝食付きの宿屋） Whitby is a seaside town, although here is a little inland. |

ウィットビー / Whitby では、グラマリー/ GramaryeというB&Bに
8月18日から20日の3泊しました。
とても満足できるB&Bで、3泊の連泊にして良かったと心から思いました。
このB&Bは、5つ星を獲得していて、シャワーかお風呂付きの部屋が3つ、下記のようにあります。
妖精の部屋 / The Faerie room : ★
庭の部屋 / The Garden Room : ★
ゴシックの部屋 / The Gothic Room : ★
私は、お風呂が付いているゴシックの部屋 / The Gothic Room を選びました。
ほかの２部屋にはシャワーが付いていますが、私(達)はなんといってもお風呂派！
B&Bを選ぶ時に、私にはお風呂の有無は大切なポイントです。
グラマリー / Gramarye (フランス語でグリモワール / Grimoire) とは、魔術の書物を意味しています。

B&Bの廊下に飾ってあった絵を見て(上の画像ではありません)、ここの
オーナーさんはきっとファンタジーが好きな人なのだと思いました。
B&Bの名前も、各部屋の名前もファンタジーめいています。
モリーに聞くと、モリーの夫のジョンがより一層ファンタジーが好きなのだそうです。
それを聞いてなるほど〜と、何故なら、ゴシックの部屋の小物に男性のテイストを思わせるものがあったからでした。
Fantasy Taste
In Whitby, we stayed in B&B, Gramarye three nights, 18th, 19th and 20th of August.
The B&B gave me a rich contentment and I thought it was really good that we stayed for three nights.
Gramarye
is a Five Star Gold Award, Whitby B&B with three en-suite rooms :
'The Faerie room' : ★,
'The Garden Room' : ★ and
'The Gothic Room' : ★.
I selected 'The Gothic Room', because only this room has a bath, and other rooms have showers.
For me, a bath is important when I select a B&B or room.
Gramarye came from French, meaning a book of magic spells ; "BlackPullet (La poule noire)".
When I looked at pictures on the wall in the corridor, I thought the owner must be a fantasy fan.
The name of B&B and rooms give me fantasy taste.
I asked Molly about fantasy, she said her husband, John likes fantasy much more than her.
I heard this, I felt Indee~d, because I felt Man's taste about some small things in the Gothic room.

| Gramarye ここの内装は、この建物に似つかわしくないのです。 でもそれはそれで、良い意味でのびっくりです。 ここの最も良いところは、オーナーモリーの心配りです。 モリーは台湾から英国へやってきました。 アジア人のきめ細かさと誠実な仕事ぶりを感じました。  Gramarye The interior decoration does not seen to match this building. However, my astonishment is good in its own way. Here, the first good point is the owner, Molly's keeping an eye out. Molly came from Taiwan. I felt Asian's exquisite and conscientious working. |

Selecting a B&B
In Britain, there are some rating marks like these.
(others like AA)
The left one shows the rank as good accommodation , the middle one shows the best of them and the right one shows good breakfasts.
Nowadays, there is 'Trip Adviser', too.
It is for all over the world, isn't it?
By the way, we stayed in Willow Cottage (★) last night, they have Four Star Silver and Breakfast mark, too.

| シャンプー、トリートメント類 そう、この入れ物だけが好きになれませんでした。 このなかにコップも入っています。 きっとジョークなのですが、生真面目な？日本人の私には ついてゆけないジョークです。 Assortment of Shampoos and Treatments Oh! Yes! The only thing I do not like is this container. There are glasses, too. I guess it is a joke but I am a very serious (?) Japanese so I cannot enjoy this joke. |

フルーツとケーキ
部屋には毎日新鮮なフルーツの盛り合わせと モリーの手作りケーキが用意されています。
こんなサービスは、初めてでした。
甘いものをあまり食べない私も、彼女のケーキは、毎日美味しくいただきました。
Fruits and Cakes
Every day the room has an assortment of fresh fruits and Molly's handmade cakes.
It was first time I had this service.
Normally I do not have sweets, although I enjoyed her cakes every day.

| 温室を思わせるダイニングルーム この場所に二席 (上と下の写真)と一席用意されています。 私達が滞在中は私達含めて、お客は二組だったらしいので、 ここのどちらかを使用することができました。 一つのジャムはモリーが作ったイチゴとラベンダーのジャム。 ラベンダーが入っているジャムを初めて食べました。 美味しかった！ Dining-room reminds me of Greenhouse Here are two tables (above and below ) and a table in the other room. While we stayed they seemed to have two guest groups, including us, so we could have a table each in this room. One of the jams was Molly's Jam of strawberries and lavender. This was the first time I ate jam with lavenders and it was good!  モリーのオレンジジュースはとても美味しい。 毎朝、彼女がオレンジを絞って作っています。 Molly's orange juice is very delicious. She squeeze oranges every morning.  エキゾチックな趣が感じられます。I feel exotic taste.  窓の向こうが私達が泊まった部屋になります。 We could see a window of our room. |

| Rの朝食はトマトがいっぱい R's breakfasts have a lot of tomatoes  スモークサーモンとスクランブルエッグ 英国の殆どの場所では、スモークサーモンは生ですが、 ここでは火を通しています。 モリーの朝食には彼女のたくさんのアイディアと思いやりがあります。 Smoked Salmon and Scrambled Eggs Often Smoked Salmon in Britain is raw but here, it is cooked. Molly's breakfasts have many of her ideas and show her consideration. |
