North Yorkshire Moors Railway is 18 miles long,
between Whitby
and Pickering Stations,

| 45428 - LMS Class 5 4-6-0 Eric Treacy 1969年後にエリック・トレシー/ Eric Treacyという名前が授けられました。 その名は、ウェイクフィールド司教の エリック・トレシー/ Eric Treacy (1907 - 1978) に由来します。 彼の趣味は鉄道写真で、当時、彼の写真はいくつかの本に使用されていました。 蒸気機関車に個人の名前が授けれれるって、素敵！ It was built between 1935 to 1950. It was given the name Eric Treacy after 1969. The name came from the Bishop of Wakefield, Eric Treacy (1907 - 1978). His hobby was railway photography and in his time, his photographs were used in several books. It is lovely if a steam locomotive is given an individual name. |
