| Coast to Coast Walk ロビン・フッズ・ベイ / Robin Hood's Bayは、 "Coast to Coast Walk / コースト・トゥ ・コースト・ウォーク" 全長192-mile / 309 kmの英国横断をするウォーキング・コースのゴールです。 逆からスタートする人にとってはスタート地点です。  Robin Hood's Bay is the goal of 'Coast to Coast Walk' : 192-mile / 309 km, crossing Britain, on the other hand, it is the start point as well. |
2010年のヨークシャー・デールズ旅行で、私は"Coast to Coast Walk"のことを知りました。そのときのことは、下記にあります。
そのブログの中で私は、"Coast to Coast Walk"のことや、ノース・ヨーク・ムーアズ( 国立公園) やロビン・フッズ・ベイについて触れていました。下記コピー
また、ここで会ったウォーカーの方達から、ウォーカーの中では世界的に有名な
"Coast
to Coast Walk / コースト・トゥ ・コースト・ウォーク：
沿岸から沿岸への道"
というコースがあるのを聞きました。
このコースは湖水地方、ヨークシャー・デールズ、ノース・ヨーク・ムーアズの
３つのナショナルパークを歩き、アイルランド海のセントビーズ
(St.Bees) から北海のロビン・フッズ・ベイ
(Robin
Hood's Bay) へと横切るのです。
オーストラリアからわざわざこのコースのために来ていた父娘もいました。
ヨークシャー・ムーアズもロビン・フッ
ズ・ベイも私が行きたいと思っているところですが、今回の旅行にはいろいろな都合上組み込めませんでした。
いつか行きたい！！！
Coast to Coast Walk
I knew of the 'Coast to Coast Walk' from my 'Yorkshire Dales Trip' in 2010, below.
In the section, I wrote about "Coast to Coast Walk", North York Moors (National Park) and Robin Hood's Bay, there are copy, below.
I
heard about the "Coast
to Coast Walk", before I did not know anything about it.
The route is very popular for walkers from all over the world.
The walk includes three National Parks : the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales, the Yorkshire Moors, they cross from the Irish Sea ; St.Bees to the North Sea; Robin Hoods Bay.
A father and his daughter came from Australia for the "Coast to Coast Walk".
I would like to visit the Yorkshire Moors and Robin Hood's Bay, too.
After
5 years, finally I made it. I
do everything slowly.
2) 浜辺 / Beach
私達が訪れたときは、干潮時。
干潮時でなかれば、海岸で人々が遊ぶことも、くつろぐことも、化石採集もできないのでしょう。
When we visited the beach, it was low tide.
If it is not low tide, people could not play, relax and be fossil hunters.
