❷クリスマスデコレーション/ Christmas Decorating -4th-7th of December, 2014

昨年とは少し違う飾り付けにしてみましたが気がつくのは私だけでしょう。(笑)

クリスマスグッズは自分で買い集めたもの、人からいただいたものが混じっています。

いただきものは、自分とは違う趣味であったり、自分で買ったものでも、時がたつと趣味は変わっているものもあるのですが、みなそれぞれの思い出が含まれているので、使用しています。

昨年は１階のディスプレイコーナーにありました。

The Christmas decorations are a little different from last year, however, the changes are only noticed  by me. (laugh)

Some of the decorations are presents from other people and some I bought myself.

Sometimes the presents were different from my taste and even for some of the ones I bought are now different from my taste.

My taste has changed, however, the decorations have my memories so I still use them.

クリスマスの箱からこのスノーマンが出てくると必ず聞いてしまいます。
聞くといっぺんにこの世界に入ってしばし放心。

英国留学中、授業中にアメリカからの留学生の男の子が
この曲を口ずさみましたが、知っていたのが私だけだったので、驚きました。
作家は英国人のレイモンド•ブリッグズ (1934 -) ですし、
このお話は私の中では既に誰もが知るであろうお伽噺なっていたからです。

On the right  : "Snow Man"(1978)  Musical Box 
When this snowman appears from my Christmas box, I am sure to listen to this music and straightaway I am absent, in the world of the "Snow Man" or a while.

When I was a student and had a class in Britain,
 a boy student from USA hummed this music, 
only I knew it and then I was surprised.
This was because the book's author is British, Raymond Briggs (1934 -) and 
for me this is a story that everyone knows as a fairy-tale.

昨年、友人Mからのクリスマスプレゼントで、
初めて使用します。

額の絵は私のリトグラフ作品でいつもここにあります。

This is a Christmas present from a friend, M last year.
It is the first time I use it.

My lithograph work with a frame is always here. 

ツリーよりも木の陰に心奪われます。

I am mesmerized by the shadows of the trees rather than the Christmas tree.

クリスマスライト / Christmas Lights

夜、撮影を試みますが、なかなかうまくゆきません。

At night, I tried to take photographs of the Christmas Tree with lights, although it is very difficult for me.
