帰国後の鎌倉散策 / Walking in Kamakura after Britain

1) Pizzeria La Sosta /ピッツェリア ラ ソスタ

ピザ専門店です。

住宅街の入り組んだとろこにあり、なかなか、
みつけるのが難しいです。

現在は長谷にある
0467(レストラン)が元、あったところの近くです。

私が英国滞在中に
オープンしたようです。

鎌倉に住み始めてからの友人Hさんに連れて来ていただきました。

ご近所情報というのは、はやいですね。

ラソスタの窯は
イタリアからの輸入、
燃料は薪です。

煙突は上の部屋をぬけて屋根へと続いているとのこと。

窯を見ているだけでも、嬉しくなります。

窯に入れる前の生地ちらっと見かけましたが、発酵していてふんわり丸い背がかわいらしく感じました。

私は、ピザをあまり食べる方ではありませんから、私の感想はどうかと思うけれども、ここのピザはまっすぐな味で、好感が持てました。

シェフのご主人(日本人)からも外回りの奥さん(スイス国籍と聞きました)からも、店の雰囲気からも、キッパリとした潔い印象が私にはしました。

不思議なのは、一般の家を使用しているにもかかわらず、家庭に招かれた印象は持たず、あくまでもレストランであることを忘れさせない何かがそこにはあるように感じました。

[追記 2012]
①残念ながら、多くの人に愛されたこのお店は、プライベートな理由で閉店しました。

②2012年10月、同じ場所に韓国家庭料理の"風和/フウワ"というお店ができたようです。
もとラソスタの店前に、あったちらし（下の写真）をRが持って来ました。

Pizzeria La Sosta

This is a pizzeria. 

It is quite difficult to find 'La Sosta', because it is hidden in a residential area. 


The restaurant '0467', now in Hase, was close to here.

'La Sosta' seemed to open while I stayed in Britain. 

H san, one of neighbours or friends who I met since living in Kamakura, took me there. 

The neighbourhood information is quick, isn't it?

La Sosta's oven came from Italy and uses firewood. 

The chimney goes through upstairs. 

Just looking at the oven is joyful!

I caught a glimpse of the doughs before they were put in the oven, they were fermenting so the tops looked soft and I felt they were lovely.

I enjoyed the pure taste of my pizza and had a good impression of it. 

I do not often eat pizza so I do not have confidence about my opinion.

I had a clear-cut and graceful feeling from the chef, the waitress and the atmosphere. 

I do wonder that even though they use a general house and so I think they would make customers feel they are being invited into someone's home, I never forget that here is a restaurant.

[Postscript 2012]
①Unfortunately the restaurant is closed by their private reason, although many people loved the restaurant.

②Now (Oct 2012) there is Korean Restaurant : 'Fuwa'.

どこかのお店の倉庫かな〜と思っていたところに

ウラダナ

というオリジナルの服のお店ができました。

鎌倉には古い建物を利用して、
新しいお店ができる傾向が多いですね。

 URADANA

I thought this was storage for a shop before this. 

Recently this opened here, and is called 'URADANA', 

the new original clothes shop. 

There are many old buildings converted into new shops, cafes and restaurants in Kamakura.

ソング ブック カフェ

このカフェは絵本ライターの中川ひろたかさんが
2006年にオープンした、カフェです。

カフェでくつろぐ間に絵本が読めます。

Song Book Cafe

This cafe was opened in 2006 by Hirotaka Nakagawa, 
who is a picture book writer. 

While we rest in the cafe, 
we can look at books at the same time here.

コースターはショップカードになっていて、
裏はカフェのインフォメーションがあります。

The coaster is a shop card,
so the other side shows the information for the cafe.

店内 

白い本はお客がいろいろ書き込んでいます。

私は書きませんでしたが…。

White book is for customers.
They can write in the book, although I did not write.

麩帆 

麩まんじゅうのお店。

店構えがちょっとかわってもっとおしゃれになりました。

なぜだか、いつもここを通るときに反対側を歩いていて、

道路をわたるのが苦で、
またつぎの機会に買おうと思ってしまいます。

これは私が鎌倉に住んでいて、
自分があまり甘いものを食べる方ではないからかもしれません。

FU- HAN

'FU- HAN' sells Fu-Manju : a type of Japanese sweet. 

 Usually 'Manju' is made from rice although this is made from wheat.

The appearance of the shop has only changed a little bit, 
but it looks even more stylish than before.

I do not know why when I walk here, I am always on the other side. 

I do not feel I can cross the road easily, 
and I think I will be able to buy it more easily next time, 
probably because I think I live in Kamakura 
and anyway I do not fancy sweets so much.
