| スリップのテストピースには市販の釉薬：青色ガラス釉を使用。 他の '小さな子達' は透明釉を使用。 Using a commercially available glaze : Blue Glass Glaze : Aoiro Galase Yu in Japanese for the slip test pieces. Other pieces used the transparent glaze.  |
青色ガラス釉の使い方が私には難しくて、いつも悩まされます。
その理由の一つに、この釉薬は、貫入が入るため('ひび釉')、それが持ち味として活かせるか、単なるヒビとして出てしまうか、受け取られてしまうかと言うのがあります。
でも、この青色は非常に美しく、使用頻度は変わりはするものの、使用をやめる事ができません。
似たような色が出せるレシピも持っていますが、私のレシピが英語版であり、日本と英国で同じ材料がない場合、それに似たようなものを探し、自分がOKを出すまでテストが続きます。
Chun Glazeを作るときも、苦労しました。
怠慢な私が、その時と同じようなテストを青色の釉薬を求めて、始められないと言うのが、まあ、私の言い訳になります。
How
to use the blue glaze is difficult for me and I always suffer.
One
of the reasons is that this glaze crazes (Crackle glaze) : 貫入釉 /
Kannyu-yu, so it can be its characteristic or it can be a simple crack so people feel the dish is cracked.
But
this blue colour is very beautiful, and while the frequency of my using this colour varies, I cannot stop using it.
I
have a recipe that produces similar colours, but my recipe is in
English and sometimes I do not have the same material in Japan as in
Britain, I will look for something similar material and I will test
continuously until I get it OK.
I
also struggled to make Chun Glaze.
Well,
my excuse is that I am lazy, thinking that I can't start the similar testings at the same time as I am testing the blue glaze.
