私の誕生日のために自分でお料理をします。

主菜はなく、シャンパンに合わせた前菜で、冷蔵庫、冷凍庫にたまった食材を使用しました。

自分のための誕生日ですが、食の問題を抱える、Rが食べられるものを選ぶので、まるでRの誕生日のようです。

まあ、仕方ないですね。

グラスに注ぎます。

I made dishes for my birthday.

There was no main dish, but appetizers which matched champagne, using ingredients stored in the refrigerator and freezer.

This was my birthday, but R has food problems so I choose what R could eat, therefore this was almost like R's birthday.

Well, I cannot help it.

マスターソムリエ高野豊氏セレクトの中から
スパークリングワインを選びました。

I chose sparkling wine from a selection of
master sommelier Yutaka Takano.

手ごろな価格で美味しいワインが飲めます。
We can drink delicious wine at a reasonable price

このセットは4月10日に届きました。

This set arrived on 10th of April.

とても幸せな一週間でした。

感謝！

友人達からのプレゼントやカードが届き、

ディスプレイコーナーが賑わっています。

それを見たRがすまなそうに

「僕から何もプレゼントがなくて...」

というので、

「この穏やかな生活、ここの環境、作品制作ができること、

これら全てがあなたからのプレゼントだと思っているのよ」

と伝えました。

Gifts and cards from friends have arrived, 

and the display corner is flourishing.

When R saw it, he said apologetically

"I didn't have any presents ...".

"I think that this calm life, the environment here, 

the ability to create works, all of these are gifts from you. "

Rがパンケーキを作ってくれました。
彼のパンケーキは、とても久しぶりでした
美味しかった！

'イチゴのへた' または 'イチゴのカップル'

イチゴのへたに、ミントを使用しています。

Rのこのアイディアは素敵です。

 'Calyx of Strawberry' or 'Strawberry Couple' 

Mint is used for the calyx of strawberries.

This is R's lovely idea.

3) ドラゴン神棚 / Dragon Home Shrine

私のスタジオは2階にあり、私は日頃ここにいます。

彼は

「1階にはたくさんあるけれどここにはないから」

と言って、2階運んできてくれました。

彼の配慮に感謝！

お花は、私が庭から摘んできた花を生けたもの達でした。

私は、ドラゴン神棚にそれを飾っています。

My studio is on the first floor and usually I am here.

He brought me flowers upstairs, saying, 

"There are a lot on the ground floor, but none here."

The flowers were ones that I had picked from the garden and arranged.

4) パジャマ / Pyjamas

実はRは私のパジャマにアイロンをかけてくれていましたが、サプライズ好きなRは、それを私に内緒にしていました。

私はRのサプライズが好きではなく、以前からそのことを伝えていました。

けれども、頑固なRは決してそれをやめません。

なぜなら、時々そのサプライズは成功するからです。

それ以上に失敗しているのですが、Rは成功例しか覚えていません。

時々彼の記憶の傾向が羨ましくなります(苦笑)。

誕生日の晩は、私は、彼がアイロンをかけたパジャマでなく、違う

パジャマを選んでしまいました。

翌朝、彼のアイディアを知りました。

彼のサプライズは、失敗しましたが、まあ、その思いは理解し、ありがたく感じました。

サプライズ、やめて欲しいな〜と思いますが、彼はやめないでしょう(笑)。

Pyjamas

Actually, R was ironing my pajamas, but R, who loves surprises, kept his ironing secret from me.

I don't like R's surprise and I've been telling him for a long time.

But the stubborn R never stops.

Because sometimes the surprise is successful.

It's more often unsuccessful, but R only remembers successes.

Sometimes I envy his memory tendency (Wry Smile).

On my birthday night, I chose a different pajamas than the ones he ironed.

The next morning I got to know his idea.

His surprise failed, but well, I understood and felt grateful for it.

Surprise, I want you to stop, but he won't quit (Laugh).

ビストロ ラ ぺクニコヴァ

私も夫Rもお気に入りのレストランが北鎌倉の ビストロ ラ ぺクニコヴァ  / Bistro La PEKNIKOVAです。

私の誕生日当日は、ぺクニコヴァは休みでしたので、前日の晩に行きました。

貸切の予約をしたわけではありませんでしたが、コロナ禍のためか、私達の貸切でした。

 Bistro La PEKNIKOVA 

I and my husband R's  favourite restaurant is Bistro La PEKNIKOVA in Kita-Kamakura.

On the day of my birthday, La Peknikova was closed so we went the night before.

We didn't make a reservation for the restaurant to ourselves, but  we were alone, probably because of COVID-19 calamity.

ミモザのリース
前回来たときは、ここにお正月の飾りが飾ってありました。
'ミモザ' の響きは物語を連想させ、
黄色の花は気持ちを明るくさせてくれます。
私はミモザが好きです。
'ミモザ'という名のカクテルも好きです (笑)。
今年、ミモザを購入して育て始めました。
ここでミモザのリースを見つけて嬉しくなりました。

Mimosa Wreath
When we visited last time,
there was a New Year's decoration here.

The sound of 'Mimosa' is reminiscent of a story, 

and the yellow flowers brighten the feelings.

I like Mimosa.

I also like the cocktail named 'Mimosa' (Laugh).

This year, I bought Mimosa and started growing it.

I was happy to find a Mimosa wreath here.

以前はアラカルトもありましたが、
最近は昼も夜もコースのみです。

Here used to be a la carte,
but nowadays it's only courses day and night.

Rのお気に入りのスパークリングワインで乾杯しました。
通常、乾杯後、Rがボトルのスパークリングワインを最後まで飲み、
私はグラスで、白、赤と変えてゆきます。
数年前は全部ボトルでしたが、
もうボトルで飲み続けることは体力的に？できません。
ワインを楽しめる健康さに感謝！

Commemorative Photograph

We toasted with R's favourite sparkling wine.

Usually, after a toast, R finishes a bottle of sparkling wine, 

and I change it to white and red by the glass.

A few years ago, it was all bottles, but is it physically impossible to 

continue drinking by bottles.

Thank you for our health to enjoy wines!

それそれ材料の持ち味を殺さず、調和も撮れていて、
美味しかったです。

The characteristics of the ingredients are not killed,
they are in harmony and are gorgeous.

Rは馬場シェフに
　「それぞれを一人前づつ食べたい」
と言い、シェフを笑わせました。

R told Chef Baba,
"I want to eat these for one portion"
and made the chef laugh.

前菜
春らしい材料で、絶妙の組み合わせでした。
生ハムを合わせることが素敵！

Starter 
The ingredients were very spring and
 it was an exquisite combination.
It's lovely to combine prosciutto!

お料理によく合う白ワイン。
White wine goes well with dishes.

春キャベツとポテトのスープ
トッピングにベーコン
Rの食べられない、玉ねぎ、ニンニク、ねぎを使用せずに、
風味を出した美味しいスープでした。
お土産に残りのスープをいただきました。
ご配慮、ありがとうございます。

Spring Cabbage and Potato Soup
Bacon for Toppings
It was a delicious soup with flavour
without using R's inedible onions, garlic, and green onions.
We had the rest of the soup as a souvenir.

白身のお魚とこがしバターソース
(クロムツに似た魚だっとと思います）

White Fish with Scorched Butter Sauce
(I think it's a fish similar to gnomefish)

2杯目の白ワインはこれです。
This is the second glass of white wine.

私の肉料理は鹿肉です。
My meat dish is venison.

スロバキアの赤ワイン。
ぺクニコヴァでは定番の赤ワインです。

Slovakia red wine.
It is a classic red wine in La Peknikova.

Rの肉料理はラム。
R's meat dish is lamb.

デザート
甘党のRには物足りなかったようです。
私にはぴったり！
美味しいディナーでした。
ごちそうさまでした！

Dessert
It seems that the sweet tooth R was not quite happy.
Perfect for me!
It was a delicious dinner.
Thank you for lovely meal!
