❶やっと2014年に！-鎌倉の春 / Finally 2014! - Kamakura in Spring

2013年、英国から帰って来た頃から、写真撮影の整理ができていないことに不安をいだき始めていました。

年末には、なるべく写真撮影をしないように、心がけました。

その間にも、素敵なイベントや心に残る数多くの事柄もあったのですが、あまり
撮影をしていません。(新年会、雪の日、友人が開店、私達の結婚記念日....)

2014年3月くらいからのことをブログに再び載せてゆきたいと思います。

I have been worried about my photographs which are not tidied up.

Since the end of 2013, I tried not to take photographs.

While I did not take so many photographs, there were a few good events and things 
I wanted to capture. (A New Year Party, Snow Days, Friend's Pub Opening, Our Wedding Anniversary....)

Here, I would show you photographs from March 2014 onwards.

鎌倉の春 / Kamakura in Spring

初めて撮影できました。

 It was the first time I could take photographs of one.

カナメモチの赤がまぶしい...
この春初めてカナメモチの別名が"レッド ロビン/ Red Robin"
というのを知りました。
英語での別名には"クリスマスベリー / Christmas Berry"
というのもありました。

Shining Kanamemochi: Red Robin
This spring was the first time I learned Kanamemochi has another name :
 "Red Robin".
In Britain, it has another name: "Christmas Berry".

シャガ
昨年、リトグラフの先生の庭からいただいたシャガが花をつけて嬉しい！

Shaga: Iris japonica 
I was pleased this Shaga blossomed, 
it came from the garden of my lithograph teacher last year.

山椒の花
裏庭に自然植生の山椒があります。
食べ物や料理の話をよくする英国人ビックは、山椒を紹介すると
「良い香りだ！レモングラスと良く似ている。鶏肉とあうだろう」
と言っていました。そういわれると、なるほど〜と思いました。

Flower of Sansho : Zanthoxylum piperitum
There is a Sansho bush in our back garden.

British Vic often talks with me about cooking and food.
When I introduced Sansho to him, he said that
`It's good! It is similar to Lemon grass, probably suits chicken'.

ご近所さんの庭 / Neighbour's Garden

我が家の裏にあたる位置にご近所さんの素敵な庭があります。

庭師さんが手入れをされている大きな庭で、日本らしさと新しいアイディアが融合されている素敵な庭です。

私達にとっては、この庭があるのはとてもラッキーです。

There is a wonderful neighbour's garden behind our house.

Gardeners look after the large garden in which Japanese style and new ideas are mixed well.

We are very lucky with the garden.

シダが広がる部分の庭に赤や白のチューリップが配置されています。
私の好きなセンス〜！本当に大好きな庭です。

Parts of the garden have ferns and now red and white tulips flower there.
It is my fovourite sense~! I really love the garden.

昨年、この存在を知り、今年ようやく撮影できました。

2013年12月25日 / Christmas in 2013

12月23日には我が家で親しい友人達 (Mちゃん含む）とクリスマスパーティをしました。

24日はMちゃんと自宅で過ごし、25日の晩は、鎌倉駅近くのランティミテで3人で過ごし、最後は、バーの "ザ バンク/ The Bank"のカクテルで締めました。

楽しいクリスマスでした〜！

The Bank

I had a Christmas Party on 23rd of December with close friends including  M chan.

On Christmas Eve, we spent time at home, and on Christmas Day we had our Christmas Dinner in a restaurant  " l'intimité" close to Kamakura Station., and lastly cocktails in a bar: 'The Bank'.

It was a very fun Christmas!

朝 - 2013年12月22日 / Morning - 22nd of December, 2013

フランスに住んでいるパティシェのMちゃんが遊びに来てくれていました。

彼女は我が家に出たり入ったりしつつ、約２ヶ月間滞在しました。

M chan who is a patissier and lives in France, visited us.

She came and went, in total she has stayed here for about two months.

美味しかったです！

M chan made these scones.
They were very lovely. 

鎌倉山の家で迎える初めてのクリスマス。
クリスマスディスプレイをどのようにしていよいのか、
戸惑っています。

It was the first time we had Christmas in Kamakurayama house.
I could not decide how to decorate the house at Christmas. 

友人達や家族が素敵なクリスマスカードを送ってくれたので、
それがとても暖かなクリスマスらしいディスプレイにしてくれました。
みんな〜、ありがとう！！！

Our family and friends sent us Christmas Cards,
so they made warm Christmas displays.
Thank you very much to you~!

このツリーには主に、唯一、私が1990年からコレクションしている
スワロフスキーのクリスマス オーナメントを飾っています。
店員の態度がタカビーでムッとしようと、
値上がりしてひ〜っとなろうと、
やめられないのがコレクションです。
Rと出会ってからは、彼がクリスマスプレゼントとして
贈ってくれるので、購入のストレスから解放されてほっとしています。
ありがとうR!
クリスマスは多くの人に感謝をする時期なのだと感じます。
皆さん、本当にありがとうございます！

This tree mainly displays my collection of Swarovski 
Annual Christmas Ornaments since 1990.
Even though the staff are domineering people which made me bad-tempered or
the cost becomes higher which upsets me, we cannot stop, it is a collection, isn't it?
After I met R, he gives me them as Christmas presents, 
so I has been free from these stresses.
Thank you to R!
I feel thank you for many people in Christmas Season.
Thank you very much for everyone!

北鎌倉と鎌倉の秋 - 11月-12月/ Kita Kamakura and Kamakura in Autumn- November and December, 2013

1)北鎌倉 / Kita-Kamakura / North Kamakura

A.円覚寺周辺 / Nearby Enkaku-ji

円覚寺は北鎌倉駅のすぐ近くで、紅葉の時期はとても込み、いつも、そして今回も門の前だけ訪れました。

まだ、英国に住んでいて、下見に来た際に境内の弁天堂茶屋だけ行きました。

この茶店からの景色は素敵だったのを覚えています。

Nearby Enkaku-ji

Enkaku-ji is very close to Kita-Kamakura Station, there is quite busy in autumn season and always we only visited in front of the gate.

Before  moving to Kamakura from Britain, I researched about Kamakura.

In our first research visit we came here, entered the temple and just visited Benten-Chaya: their cafe.

I remember the view from the cafe was wonderful.

2) 鎌倉の妙本寺 / Myouhon-ji in Kamakura

紅葉の時期に初めて妙本寺に行ってみました。

鎌倉駅からさして遠くもないのに、既に山の中の雰囲気。

良い意味でちょっと怖いというか、神聖な感じがしました。

It was the first time I visited Myohon-ji in autumn colour season.

It is not so far from Kamakura Station,

although the atmosphere is of a mountain.

 I felt a little awed, in other words it was sacred. 

この赤い門の中に"阿吽 (あ•うん)"の彫刻が設置されています。
これを夕方に見ると昼間よりも一層怖いです。

There are statues of A-un : 阿吽 in the red gate. 
When I looked at them later in the afternoon, it was more scary than in the bright daytime. 

宇宙の始まりを表す、阿(あ)の像
This represents the begining of the Cosmos : the Statue of A .

宇宙の終わりを表す吽 (うん)の像
This represents the end of the Cosmos : the statue of un.

花を見てほっとする
I looked at this flower and felt relieved.

ひっそりとした雰囲気の中で一人拝む人がいました。
In the quiet atmosphere, there was a person paying respect to the temple.

最後に鐘堂を見上げて、さようなら...
Finally I looked up at the 'Bell Tower', and good-bye...

3) 大町 / Oomachi

私は大町にある、山梨リトグラフ工房で作品を作っています。

道すがら写真を撮りました。

I go to Yamanashi Lithograph Studio and make my works.
