翌朝、排水溝から水が溢れ出しているのをみつけてびっくり！

古い竹も落ちてきました。

Next morning, I found water over the drain, I was surprised.

Old Bamboo blew down.

大雨の日、違うところの二階堂では竜巻があり、屋根などに被害がいくつかあったそうです。

お気の毒なことでした。

There was a tornado in another part of Nikaido in Kamakura. Some roofs and other things were damaged.

I am sorry for them.

1) 知らなかった！ / I did not know that!

映画、"プチニコラ" を
恵比寿ガーデンシネマに姉と見に行きました。

'原作は、ルネ•ゴシニ作、

イラストレーションはジャン-ジャック•サンペの

"LE PETIT NICOLAS"

という絵本です。

フランスでは50年間愛されて来た絵本'

と、パンフに説明されています。

知らなかった！

私はず〜っとサンペが大好きで、読めもしないフランス語版の本を持っていました。

彼の画集だと思っていました。

これを買ったのはロング ロング タイム アゴー。

その絵本をひたすら愛し続け、サンペの絵を愛し続けてきたのですけれど、それがプチニコラだったとは。

なんということでしょう！

なんというおばかさん！

フランスでは観客動員が552 万人でありつつも、東京では
恵比寿ガーデンシネマでのみでした。

映画館で映画を見たのも久しぶり、昨年、アバター (AVATAR) を
見て以来で、映画館で恥ずかしげもなく大声をあげて笑い、
おかしくて涙目にもなったのも久しぶりでした。

映画のパンフレットは、A5サイズ (148×210cm) でノート風になっています。

ウ〜ン、良いアイディアですね。

監督はローラン•ティラールです。

私は見ていませんが、

"モリエール恋こそ喜劇"(2007)

を監督しています。

また、彼は脚本家でもあります。

I did not know that!

I went to Ebis Garden Cinema with my sister to see

"LE PETIT NICOLAS."

'It was picture books and created by René Goscinny and illustrated by 
Jean-Jacques Sempé.

In France, people have loved the books for over 50 years ......'

I did not know that!

I do not read French although I have loved the illustrations of 
Jean-Jacques Sempé since I bought his book in French and it was a long long time ago.              

                                                                                                     
 I thought it was a book of his paintings.

I have loved the book and Sempé 's illustrations for a long time, and actually the book is "LE PETIT NICOLAS".

Oh Dear!   Silly me!

In France, the film has been seen by five millions fifty two thousands, although in Tokyo, the premiere was only in one of the two small cinemas.

I hadn't seen a film in theater since I saw 'AVATER' in 2009 and I hadn't laughed loudly and laughed until tears in any film for a long time, I did not care about other people.

The size of the brochure is A5 (148×210cm) and note style.

Well, I think it is a good idea.

The director is Laurent Tirard who directed Moliére (2007) which I haven't seen.

2) 私のサンペ / My Sempé

サンペは アカデミックに絵を学んではいません。

にもかかわらず、

"ニューヨーカー :The New Yoker" (米国の雑誌) 
の表紙を何度も担当し、
パリスマッチ : Paris Match (フランスの雑誌) 
のイラストレーションも何年も手がけています。

絵はかろやかなラインと淡い色調、絵の対象は主に人間で、性別、年齢にこだわりはありません。

彼の洞察力は素晴らしい！

作り出す場面は、時には痛烈に人々を批判し、時には茶化しますが、その表現には暖かみ、おもしろみがあります。

彼が人々を批判しつつも、欠点を持つ人間を憎んでいないのが感じられます。

批判をしつつ、気分を悪くさせないというのは、とても難しいことですよね。

彼はそれを可能にするのにユーモアを使っています。

また、彼のさらさらした絵柄もNYやパリのような都会には、あっているのでしょう。

粋なセンスをお持ちなんですね。

物事をストレートに表現しがち、無粋な私にとって、彼は憧れです。

My Sempé

Sempé does not have any academic study of art, nevertheless he has worked for the cover of 
'The New Yorker' and the illustrations of 
'Paris Match', many times.

His illustrations have lightweight lines and humble colours, and are usually of people of many ages and types.

                                                                
His insight is marvellous!

The scenes sometimes show severe criticism or make fun of people, although the appearances have warmth and interest. 

I feel that although he criticises people, he does not hate them.

It is quite difficult that there are critics as well as they do not make an aversion to people, isn't it?

I think he does this by using humor.

In addition, his illustrations are light which suit big cities like New York and Paris.

He must have stylish taste, mustn't he?

My expression is very straightforward, so he is my star.
