1) 茅ヶ崎のArtsea /Artsea in Chigasaki
最近知り合った、藤沢市に住む、Mi&K夫妻に案内されて、茅ヶ崎の、ギャラリー"Artsea"へ行きました。

ゴールデンウィーク中の5月4日にMi&Kご夫妻妻と茅ヶ崎駅で待ち合わせをしたのですが、鎌倉山から駅へ行くバスが非常に遅れて、私達は30分も遅刻してしまいました。
ですが、にこやかにMi&Kカップルは私達を迎えてくださいました。
Mi&K、ごめんなさい。
4人で駅からタクシーで"Artsea"へ。
この日、"Artsea"では、オープン10周年のパーティが開かれていました。
このギャラリーに初めて行くのに、10周年のパーティに参加できたのは、
Mi&Kご夫妻の紹介があったからでした。
ありがとうございました。

Recently
we got to know Mi & K couple, living in Fujisawa, Kanagawa Prefecture who took us to a
gallery, "Artsea" in Chigasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture.

We were due to meet Mi & K couple at Chigasaki Station on 4th of
May, it was during Golden Week in Japan so the bus from Kamakurayama to the station was crazily late
and we were delayed for 30 minutes.
However,
the smiling couple welcomed us.
Sorry
for Mi & K couple.
Four of us took a taxi from the station to "Artsea".
On
this day, "Artsea" had their 10th Anniversary of opening party.
Though we
went to this gallery for the first time, we were able to
participate in the 10th Anniversary party because the couple
introduced us.

2部に別れていて、前半が4月27日から5月6日、後半が5月11日から27日開催でした。

"Sea-theme Exhibition" (★) was the 10th Anniversary Exhibition.
Part 1 was held April 27th of April - 6th of May and Part 2, 11th - to 27th of May.

パーティの参加者は、約30名、賑やかで、笑顔がいっぱいのパーティでした。
食べ物はケータリングを利用していました。

ケータリングのお料理は美味しく、また、通常そういうお料理は、Rが食べられないものがたくさんあるのですが、ほとんどが彼が食べられるもので、驚きました。
Miさんからアドバイスを受けていたので、私達はシャンパンを持参しました。
私は、ギャラリーの環境にも興味があるので、ちょっとパーティ会場を抜けて、周辺の冒険?(散策)をしましたら道に迷ってしまい、大きな道への出方を人に訪ねて、戻ってくることができました。
迷ったのは、既に暗くなってしまっていたこともありますが、道がちょっと迷路のような在り方だったからだと思います。

The
party was about 30 people, lively and full of smiles.
Caterers provided the food.
Their food was delicious, and usually R cannot eat like these foods, but I
was surprised that he could eat most.
As
we received advice from Mi, we took a bottle of champagne.
I am also interested in the environment of a gallery, so I went out of the party for a while, I did some adventures (walking around), I got lost and asked for directions back to the gallery form a big road and I was able to come back.
I think the reasons for my getting lost were not only that there was already dark, but also I think the layout of the surroundings are a little like a labyrinth.
3) 1階 / Ground Floor
私達は忘れ物をしてしまい、後日(6日)に、再び、Artseaに行きました。
パーティの際に、たくさんお酒をいただいたので、Rの大好きな英国の紅茶をお礼に持ってゆきました。
4日に綺麗なグラスが心に残っていましたが、パーティの喧騒で買う機会を失ってしまいました。
忘れ物を取りに行くことになったので、そのグラスを購入できましたし、1階の商品も2階の展覧会もゆっくり見ることができました。

We left our things there, so we went back to Artsea two days later (6th).
In the party, we had a lot of drinks, so this time we took R's favourite British tea as a thank you.
The
beautiful glass stayed in my mind on the 4th, but I lost the
opportunity to buy it because of the pageantry of the
party.
We
went to pick our things up, so we could buy the glasses and I could unhurriedly see the goods on the ground floor and the exhibition on the
first floor.

We
bought these two.
The glasses have waving lines of tiny bubbles.
I think of the Milky Way, probably because of the shapes of the lines.

生前、父が好きだった煎茶 : '川根・白瀧’の茶を水出しして作りました。
Cold Green Tea
I made this using the green tea : 'Kawane・Tea of Shirataki',
cold water infusing the tea which my father liked when he was alive.

ユーモラスなアイディア

学生で、こんな垢抜けたイラストレーションを制作してしまえることに
驚きました。
私が学生の頃は、泥臭い絵を描いていたように思います。
またMakoちゃんはパーティ会場でも臆することなく馴染んでいました。

I was a student, I think I was drawing unrefined pictures.
Mako
chan was also familiar at the party venue without hesitation.

 タルヘテリアというコロンビアの伝統工芸を使用した作品。 製作者の高尾 真理 (タカオ マリ)さんからその作り方を聞きましたが、 かなりの忍耐を必要とする作業であると感じました。 高尾さんのお母様がコロンビア人で、その影響でタルヘテリアに興味を 持たれたそうです。 タルヘテリアは、修道院の絵画の装飾として使用されていたと聞きました。 それらしい感じ、しますよね。 |

I
asked how to make it from the maker, Takao Mari.
I
felt it was a task requiring considerable patience.
Takao's
mother was a Colombian and she was interested in Tarjeteria.
I
heard that Tarjeteria was used as a decoration for Monastery paintings.
It feels like that, doesn't it?  |

ギャラリーではお会いできなかった、オーナーのY&Dご夫妻に帰りのバス停で偶然出会い、お話もできました。
そうそう、Dはアメリカ人なので、Rは心置きなく、彼とおしゃべりできたと思います。
Tさんから、ギャラリー周辺は、昔ながらの街並みが残っていて、区画整理されたようにはなっていないので、良い雰囲気が残っているという話を聞きました。
これを聞き、私が迷子になったことに納得! (自分の愚かさもあります）

鎌倉の家を探す際に、私達は辻堂に一時住んでいたので、辻堂までバスに乗っている間、懐かしい気持ちを持ちました。
あれから10年もたってしまった....時がすぎるのは早いです。
ということは、Artseaが10周年を迎えたように、私達も鎌倉に住み始めて10年経つ!ということなのです。

On the 6th, we went from Chigasaki Station to a bus stop
near the Gallery, and on the way back we caught a bus from the closest bus stop towards Tsujido Station.
At the bus stop we happened to meet the owners, Y&& D couple who we could not see in the Gallery and chatted.
Oh yeah, D is an American, so I think R could talk freely with him.
I
heard from Y that the area around the Gallery still has the
old-fashioned cityscape, it has not been reorganized, however, it has a good atmosphere.
I
heard this and Indeed... I had become lost. (It was my own foolishness as well)
When
I was searching for a house to rent in Kamakura, we lived temporarily in
Tsujido, so I felt nostalgic while taking the bus to the station.
This experience reminds me of that time which was 10 years ago and I feel how quickly time goes.
In other words, just as Artsea had their 10th Anniversary, so we have lived in Kamakura for 10 years!
