❶2019年4月26日 二階堂 / Nikaido, 26th of April, 2019

私とRは、鎌倉山に住む前は二階堂に住んでいました。

二階堂ではご近所づきあいが鎌倉山よりもあり、今でも二階堂の皆さんとのお付き合いはさせていただいています。

私の個展にも二階堂の方々はいつもいらしてくださり、今回もいらしてくださったので、今日はそのお礼を言いにそれぞれのお宅を訪ねました。

また、二階堂にある、イタリアンレストラン・"ACCI (アッチ: ★)"で、ランチもとりました。

"ACCI" については、次のセクションに載せます。

二階堂には、鎌倉宮 (カマクラグウ)、荏柄天神 (エガラテンジン)、覚園寺 (カクオンンジ) 、瑞泉寺 (ズイセンジ) などの観光サイトや天園ハイキングコースもあるので、旅行者も多く訪れます。

二階堂へは、通常、鎌倉駅から鎌倉宮行きのバスで向かいます。

I and R lived in Nikaido before living in Kamakurayama, Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture.

In Nikaido, there is more neighbourliness than in Kamakurayama, and we still feel attached to Nikaido people.

A few Nikaido people always visit my exhibitions, this time as well, so today we visited each house to say thank you.

We also had lunch at an Itarlian restaurant "ACCI" in Nikaido.

I will write about ACCI in the next section.

Nikaido has some tourist sites, such as Kamakura-gu, Egara-Tenjin Shrine, Kakuon-ji Temple, and Zuisen-ji Temple and a "Tenen Hiking Trail", so many tourists come to visit.

To get to Nikaido, we usually go to "Kamakura-gu bus stop" from Kamakura Station.

新しいカフェ・レストラン
二階堂の谷戸(ヤト)入り口付近にできた、カフェ・レストラン。
私達が二階堂に住んでいた時にはありませんでした。
なんとなく、週末、祝日のみ営業という
鎌倉に多いパターンのような気がしました。
確かめなかったので、実際のところはわかりません。

New Cafe  Restaurant
The Cafe near the entrance to the Yato : Valley of Nikaido
was not there when we lived in Nikaido.
Somehow, I felt they only open in weekends and National Holidays,
that is like a lot of other places in Kamakura.
Since I didn't check, I don't really know.

アプローチ/ Approach

パラソルがある場所がお店らしい....
The place where there is a parasol seems to be the Cafe ....

谷間を流れる小川
Stream flowing through the Valley

情緒ある家
お茶とお花の先生の家らしいです。

Atmospheric House

It seems to be the house of a master of tea and flowers.

谷戸の小道
この小道は季節の花が楽しめます。
私達はこの道沿いに住んでいました。
突き当たりは覚園寺になります。
覚園寺の住職も雨がふると個展へいらしてくださいました。

Valley  Lane
You can enjoy seasonal flowers on this lane.
We lived along this road.
At the far end is Kakuon-ji Temple.
A priest of the Temple also visits my exhibitions if it is raining.

Nさんの花 / N san's Flowers

Nさんの前にはの花は、いつもいつも綺麗です。
"お花のNさん"として有名です。

彼女も来廊してくださったお一人で、作品も購入していただきました。

ありがとうございました。

The flowers in front of N san are always beautiful.
She is famous as "N san of Flowers".

She was one of the visitors and bought my work.

珍しいチューリップ / Rare Tulips

宿木の花
木に寄生し、花を咲かせています。
Nさんがこれを私達に見せたがっていました。
お花に詳しい彼女にとっても珍しいことなのでしょうね。

Parasite Floweres 
It is parasitic on trees and blooms flowers.
N san really wanted to show us this.
Even though she is familiar with flowers, for her, this is unusual.

ハンカチの木？ 
ハンカチの木にしては、花が小さいでしょうか？

Handkerchief Tree?
Are the flowers small for a handkerchief trees?

モッコウバラ
二階堂では、私達と最も親しいN家では、

モッコウバラ (木香茨 / 木香薔薇) が、見事に咲いていました。

Lady Bank's Rose
 Lady Banks' Rose was blooming wonderfully in the entrance of 
N Family who are the closest for us in Nikaido area.
According to Wiki about this,

"The rose is named for Dorothea Lady Banks,
the wife of the botanist Sir Joseph Banks."

八重桜でしょうか？
